Yelp
2 Stars for a great location, friendly staff, but food that can be pretty lackluster.
I love the location of this Graffiti Junktion, and I remember going to the previous Thornton Park location back when they first opened. Back then I remember loving their food and atmosphere. At this point, it's been years since I've been to GJ because the food quality kept creeping down over visits throughout the years, but I gave it another try recently and it sadly kind of confirmed my thoughts about the food.
But first-- The good! The location is great- right on Summerlin where there's tons of action. They have indoor and outdoor seating options, and fab murals on all the walls (shout-outs to Orlando City Soccer murals!). I dig the picnic tables and relaxed vibe, with plenty of TVs for the folks in the group who want to watch whatever game happens to be on. It gets packed and seems like a fun spot to be around a crowd of fans.
Also, the staff is very friendly and attentive the moment we asked for our missing silverware, or condiments, even on a busy night (inside was packed, outside was empty because of rain). Our server was clearly stretched thin, but kept a smile on his face and helped handle some kitchen issues with our dishes.
The food, unfortunately, was the not-so-good part. My friend got the Hawaiian flatbread and immediately noticed it didn't have the shredded chicken, pickled red onion, or honey garlic drizzle as listed in the menu. He even went digging around in case the chicken was under cheese. (It wasn't). Our server quickly responded and took it back to the kitchen to be remade. About 10 minutes later it came back and he let us know that the kitchen had just messed up because they were busy. Instead of the shredded chicken we were expecting now, the kitchen added diced chicken breast on top (which he mentioned was more chicken than if it had been shredded, so that's a plus(?)... but it was very chunky and harder to eat than the described shredded chicken would have been...) and they also added the missing onions.
I got the Beef Sliders (two small angus patties topped with American cheese, grilled onions, burger sauce, on sweet hawaiian rolls) and subbed the chips for tots. The dish eventually landed at our table with fries instead of tots (our server didn't write down our orders and it was busy, so he must have forgotten), but I didn't mind and didn't want to wait for the tots at that point. The sliders were tasty. Not super memorable, but a good portion for someone who doesn't want a full burger.
The fries ended up being the saddest part of all of our dishes though. The other folks at the table had gotten burgers and fries as well and all of our fries were soft and soggy. Even the little thin burnt ones that looked like they'd be crispy were limp, leading me to think they'd been sitting for a while or were from an old batch. They also lacked any salt or seasoning. And the salt shaker at our table was out of salt. At this point, with the place so busy, the servers looking a bit frantic, and already having sent one dish back for missing ingredients, we just gave up on the fries.
Overall, the staff is friendly and the location is great for watching a big game with friends, but the food just lacked a lot and with so many burger options in town, it wouldn't be on my list in the future.
