Gram Cafe & Pancakes

Very cozy cafe with a cute interior and styling. There's a comfortable amount of natural light shining in through the large windows. The interior is very clean with a consistent green and white colour scheme. All the staff are very friendly and were wonderful to talk to. Service was fast and very good. The food was amazing. The pancakes came in many flavours and were incredibly soft and fluffy. The kind that will jiggle if you move the plate. All their dishes and flavour combinations also went great together. I really enjoyed the Chili Beans set in particular. Thanks to our amazing waitress Katherine!

Finally Open! We’ve been looking forward to checking out this place ever since we saw the signage over half a year ago. The good: Taste (4/5) and extra points for a really cool interior (5/5). Took off a few points because i wasn’t a fan of the cold chunk of butter that sat on every pancake. Either the pancake should be hotter or the butter shouldn’t be so cold. The not so good: Be prepared to wait 25minutes to get the signature / fluffy pancakes. They didn’t warn us when we ordered and only one of us got the food within 7 minutes and the other person would just wait and wait (and wait)… The place feels a bit understaffed as you could not locate a waiter/waitress sometimes. We asked for no sugar in the milk tea, but it showed up sweetened. Tips for others: maybe order enough dishes that come out quick so everyone can eat at the same time or everyone should order the slow dish. Or the staff should ask whether you want the food to come out together. Given the convenient location we will be back again later this year!

The service is good. The pancakes are deliciously soft and not too sweet. I'm more a savory person and I came here for brunch. As a vegetarian there were no savory options for me. So basically we ordered sweet things. The regular pancakes are just normal. But the fluffy ones are pretty good. The French toast was a bit on the soggy end because they were so many things on top of it like whipped cream, bananas, syrup. Overall I enjoyed the experience! The pancakes are $16 for a platter, so it's not cheap. However the fluffy pancakes are very unique, make sure you order ahead of time as it takes about 30 minutes to make.

Saw the reviews online about this super fluffy pancake place, we saw that it was not busy, so we decided to try. Atmosphere was amazing, place looks so nice and cozy. Service was awesome too The pancakes were very fluffy, but because other items were not sweet I think they donn’t go as well together, maybe if we order something sweet, like with fruit, they will go together better. Overall is good, we will have to come back and try again

Very casual setting and easy going atmosphere of this cafe gives it additional benefit along with having a very forefront location around Brentwood mall, Burnaby. When your server comes to you to take your order, she also tells you that how long it would take for our order to Come on table. Our drinks were served first and food exactly took 15-20 mins. Loved the food and in fact quantity was also good size . I liked the sweet and savoury taste in my pancake order. Japanese pancake is worth trying . Very soft and just melts in your mouth without overfilling your stomach.

The food was delicious, I love the sausages they were perfectly seasoned. The spiced beans were also slightly spicy but not too much. The pancakes are so fluffy, with the ice cream and cream makes it even better! Katherine, one of the server was so incredibly nice!!! Would totally recommend!!!!

The fluffy pancakes were nothing special. I’d stick to the regular ones and save some money. However I really enjoyed the French toast! It was yummy but the portion was small. The sides that came with my pancakes were so delicious and seasoned very nicely!

I have visited this location for 3 times. It's just a step away from the Brentwood skytrain station. I really like the vibes inside the cafe which is bright, spacious and filled with green. We tried, Premium Pancakes Salmon Avocado Pancakes French Toast with Mixed Berries Cool Premium Pancake Oreo Cool Premium Pancake Strawberry London Fog Matcha Tea Latte Their signature "premium pancakes" was so jiggly and fluffy! FYI many people seems to get confused but this isn't actually a souffle pancake, souffle pancake is more airy and it feels like eating a void. This is kinda like a hybrid of normal pancake and a souffle pancake. Their Premium pancakes take about 25 minutes to be made; 9min to prepare the egg white, 5min to mix, 8min to cook and 3min to decorate. They use special flour imported from Japan. Even the butter and the cream are a special mix and the maple syrup is a good quality one. Totally worth the wait. The pancakes shrink over time, so to experience the optimal fluffiness, eat it fresh asap. The shrunken pancakes will be used for the sandwiches and they're pretty good too. Strawberry and oreo are their two most popular flavors Pro tip: You can swap any set of 3 pancakes to 2 premium set. +4$ to add 1 more It was my first time having a savory pancakes, it definitely opened my eyes to some possibilities. We didn't order but owner's recommendation is the bacon one, they use special sausages. Also their French toast was unexpectedly good, I'm in love with that cream! The food was great and staff was friendly. I will definitely visit again to try more dishes
