We went to Gramin Restaurant for dinner, and the place was fully packed when we arrived. There was a waiting time, but we were seated after about 10 minutes. We then ordered sarson ka saag with makki ki roti, bajre ki roti, along with desi ghee and jaggery.
Since I belong to Delhi, I truly missed the ghar-ka sarson ka saag and makki ki roti during winters. Back home, this used to be a regular dish every few days in the winter season. We were actually discussing this nostalgia when our dinner arrived—and to our delight, the taste was very close to what I used to have at home.
The food was super tasty, and it became even more flavorful after adding desi ghee—my all-time favorite combination. Absolutely loved it!
A must-visit place for authentic, comforting food. 🌾✨
