Gran Acuario Mazatlán

Nice select but parts are very run down. Majority of the "park" is outdoors, so hat and water will be helpful. If you plan ahead, your tickets will be 40% less.

This was a great aquarium and we especially enjoyed the fact you could purchase a libation and stroll about! The huge aquariums were spectacular!! *Note: Purchase tickets in advance and they're (~100pesos) cheaper than buying at the wicket.

A great time was had by all ages here! Tickets are not cheap but the animals here will fill you with wonder! About a 22 min ride from the cruise terminal. We took an Uber and it was super easy. It will definitely beat out any cruise excursion price!

We did something out of our normal excursions: Went to the incredible aquarium that just opened 2 years ago… had an absolutely amazing experience. The design starts at the edge of the ocean and each room you go deeper into what it looks like and the creatures that reside at each level. Really appreciated having a tour guide who explained every exhibit and we even got to go behind the scenes to see how they keep all of the conditions to meet the needs of whatever fish/animal they have there.. they do a lot of Rescue work rehabilitating, fish, sea lions, and turtles… all the sea lions were rescued as babies, and now do the little sea lion show ! 🦭 🪼  🐟 🐠

My wife and I (30yrs old) went to the aquarium date on a Tuesday and there was no line, very polite and happy staff. 😊 There is plenty to walk around and see many shows and interactions. We had lunch at the burger tank (tbh wouldn't recommend even with 20% off - try something else) The best part was my personal connection to penguins 🐧🐧🐧 because my grandma loves them. We saw many cool things and took a lot of great pics of reptiles and birds🐾🐊🦢🌵 and went to the bird cage.🦜 I would recommend this aquarium is interesting and a great place for learning and family. We walked the whole lot and spent most of our day! YAY THANKS EVERYONE 😊

We arrived at opening expecting a large crowd, but there was no line. We had a great visit, it took a few hours to explore but there was so much to see and experience. This is a great family site to visit and you can interact to the degree you feel comfortable. I will revisit the site in the future.

A great place to spend a couple of hours. My husband’s favourite was feeding the rays. I thought the mini jellyfish were beautiful. It had the biggest aquarium I’ve ever seen. Fun for adults and kids. The two people who put on the bird show at 1 o’clock were super fun. The exterior of the aquarium is beautiful, the grounds are impeccable. Once you enter the building, it is a little disappointing. The isn't really much to see Inside beside a LOT of fish. The most disappointing aspect was the fact that here we are in Mexico, and ALL the coral in the tanks is fake (plastic), how can this be, why is there not real coral!!!!
