Gran Chifa Chung Yion

Great spot for classic chifa (Chinese Peruvian food). Cheap and large plates. Bunch of locals and tourists there. The private dining style area was pretty cool.

HUGE portions. Tastes like home. The fried noodles is exactly like Vietnamese/Chinese dish we have home in California. Lovely staff!

Bustling chifa (Chinese-Peruvian) restaurant in Barronco set in a large and nicely decorated space. Came here with a group of 7 for lunch, and the place was pretty packed. Family portion sizes are huge - a few at the table ordered a family size soup to share and it was the size of a crockpot. A few vegetarian options - rice, noodle dishes with vegetables and tofu. Food was tasty, though greasy (not unexpected). Staff was friendly and was very appreciative that I left a tip (so much so that the manager came over to thank me and then gave me a gift).

Pretty good fried rice with pork pieces. Cool Chinese atmosphere and decoration in the restaurant. Not bad for 20.5 Sols for personal size.

I came with my coworkers. You can ask for a la carte or menu dishes. The entry coukd be either soup or wantan. I had the wantan an they were exquisite. In general the dishes were delicious. The concept of the decoration of the restaurant is quite interesting, because they have like little rooms were you can privacy because it has a curtain to separate you for the other customers. It was a littlr noisy but we could talk without problems.

I ordered a Wantan Sopa here and interestingly all the elements of this dish were subtlety smokey! The wontons were massive and quite different to the traditional Chinese wontons I was use to eating. The soup had pork slices, chicken wings, chicken drum sticks and some greens. It was fun trying Chifa and experiencing a Peruvian Chinese fusion. The service here was great. My waiter was friendly and my order arrived very quickly.

Food is amazing here, and the portions are huge! When we arrived there was a line of people waiting, but we were seated in 10 minutes or so. We waited a long time for the food, but it was worth it. The portions are really big and the staff is friendly. The food is tasty and really interesting flavours. Not so expensive, but not cheap also. Next time I would recommend sharing a starter or two, and then just one main dish.
