Gran Ciudad Chapultepec

We stayed here as Airbnb guests and honestly don’t think the location could have been better! It is incredibly walkable to Chapultepec Park, La Condesa, Roma Norte, and Reforma. We were constantly amazed by how great the spot was — we walked everywhere. While there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby (including fantastic tacos al pastor around the corner and a great pharmacy/general store across the street), it isn’t as busy and crazy as deeper into Roma Norte, which we very much appreciated. It’s also super easy to grab an Uber from here. The building itself is super stylish, well-maintained, safe, and very clean. The amenities are a massive plus: we used the gym and the exceptional coworking space, which had fast and reliable Wi-Fi (great for remote work). We also took advantage of the BBQ area on the roof; the views from up there, and from our unit, were exceptional. A special shoutout to Ivan who works at the building. He was amazing and even invited us to the building Posada (my first one!), which was a super cool experience. It was also really nice connecting with the residents and other guests. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The location is perfect , close to great restaurants and beautiful walking areas in Condesa and Roma Norte. The staff were always kind and welcoming, especially Stephanie, who was incredibly helpful. The rental process was easy and smooth, and overall it’s a very comfortable and lovely place to live

DO. NOT. MOVE. HERE. Read all of the negative reviews before considering this place. They have employees leaving 5 star reviews to hide how bad they are. I honestly wish I could give this place zero stars. The building itself is okay, but that is where anything remotely positive ends. It is wildly overpriced for what you get, and the management is the worst I have ever dealt with. Communication is nonexistent unless they want something from you. Emails go unanswered, messages are ignored, and when you finally get a response, it is vague, dismissive, or outright gaslighting. Security is another joke. I had multiple people show up at my door who should never have been allowed into the building in the first place. Security let them in without verifying anything. For a building that markets itself as upscale and secure, this is alarming. There are virtually no community events, no sense of organization, and no follow-through on anything they promise. But the absolute worst part, and the reason I would never recommend this place to anyone is how they're thieves. Once you give them your deposit, do not plan on seeing it again. I moved back the US and waited six months to get my deposit back. For the last three months, I was contacting them almost daily, I even had to go their office when I was visiting CDMX and then had to report them to PROFECO. They repeatedly told me my refund was coming, then changed their story, delayed again, gaslit me, and did everything possible to keep my money. The deposit was supposed to be returned months earlier, and they simply refused to act until I exhausted every possible avenue. This was not a misunderstanding. It was intentional. Even more concerning, this is not an isolated experience. Multiple people told me they went through the same thing, including staff members who privately admitted they were embarrassed by how management operates. This is a dishonest and poorly run operation that should not be allowed to continue doing business. If you are comfortable chasing your own money for months (with 0 justification), filing complaints, and being treated like you are the problem, then maybe this place is for you. Otherwise, avoid at all costs. The money was supposed to be in July, in the screenshots of their emails you will see they said it would be returned October, then November, then December. I would not recommend Grand Ciudad Chapultepec to my worst enemy.

Great location and very friendly neighbors, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. Management is a mess and seems to change every 2–3 months, which leads to constant issues and no real accountability. The rent is already way too expensive, yet there are hidden fees everywhere. Even the rooftop, which should be included, costs extra to access if you want to use the grill. The gym is technically free, but the equipment is poor quality and often broken, and nothing ever gets fixed. Wi-Fi is terrible, and tenants aren’t allowed to switch providers as you re you’re still forced to pay for it. Overall, for the price, and the quality of the personnel I am not sure whether it’s worth the price.

It is so unfortunate that management at Gran Ciudad Chapultepec is such a SCAM. The give BIG offerings and DO NOT deliver. 1. The internet is communal and do not allow you to install your own. Its less the 100 MB at $55 USD a month. 2. Monthly events they advertise to get you to move in. Been here 7 months and there was only 2 events and only 1 was actually nice. 3. There is zero action to improve their billing system, management constant turn over and they try to overcharge on admin fees. 4. You have to resend your payment confirmation from months before since they admin employee turnover is so high. 5. DO NOT MOVE HERE. 6. Great residents is the 1 star - we are all currently reporting the management here is so terrible.

Imagine living in an apartment where you’re forced to pay for mandatory Wi-Fi, yet every day you get error messages saying you can’t join the network. When it does connect, the internet is so slow it’s unusable. Working from home is basically impossible. On top of that, you pay a management fee to a team that can’t get anything done. Staff changes constantly, there’s no follow-up on open issues, and communication is nonexistent. Ironically, the only thing they seem consistent about is trying to take your money. Payments regularly bounce back because of their banking issues, yet they still attempt to charge a ridiculous daily late fee for a problem entirely on their end. Security companies change all the time with no notice or transparency. Amenities hours are constantly shifting. What’s promised during the tour rarely matches reality. Neighbors rotate frequently, and people cook with their doors wide open. Hallways reek because the apartments are so small that no one seems to care about shared spaces. Overall, this place is disorganized, misleading, and stressful to live in. Do not move here.

I loved living here, mainly because of the location, my job is at walking distance and I also felt secure walking at night, thank you! Plus, the view is amazing! 🌅

This is an amazing place to stay in CDMX. The staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything. I stayed through Airbnb and they were just always responsive to everything that I needed. The building is well equipped. It has comfortable shared spaces on the ground floor including co-working and a social area with a pool table. It also has a well equiped gym and an amazing rooftop area that you can use including a barbecue. I was in the studio apartment which has a comfortable couch and bed. The kitchen is very reasonably sized kitchen for a studio -- bigger than a lot that I’ve seen previously in other cities. The washer and dryer were very good. It’s well located to both Reforma and Condesa with restaurants and supermarkets within easy walking distance. The internet was fast and reliable. I can highly recommend this property and will stay here again next time I’m here. It’s worth noting as well that this is a new team that has replaced the previous management. I spent quite a bit of time talking with Stephanie who works very long hours taking care of everything.
