Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque Resort is a very nice hotel. The room we had was very nice, the bed was comfortable. In the room there was a coffee station with a nespresso machine, a safe, a minibar etc. I informed the receptionist that the day after we checked in was my partner birthday so we got a very nice surprise in the room . The breakfast was super, with a great selection of food and drinks. They have few swimming pools and restaurant to choose from. Most of the staff was friendly and polite. This is a great resort, however, if there was a better attention to the detail it would be even greater. The box with coffee and sugar was messy, not tidy up or cleaned from the previous guest. The day when we checked out we were very annoyed by the housekeeping: they come in the room while we were having breakfast (nothing wrong with that) they started to clear up the room, after the breakfast we went at the pool area and when we came back we noticed that they went in the room again... while in the room they try to come in again. it was not yet time to check out but the housekeeping tried hard to make us to go away, it was our check out day so they should just left us in peace since we did not overstay. Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque Resort was an amazing experience for my wife and I and our two young children. It was definitely a 5 star experience, and worth every penny. The grounds were immaculate, the staff was extremely friendly, the service was second to none, the rooms were very clean, the pools were beautiful and a huge success for entertaining our children, and the views from our room of the ocean and hotel grounds were gorgeous. The day we left we started planning our return trip and plan to stay at this resort every time we visit the island. It was a fantastic experience and we can’t wait to return.

A lovely Canarian style resort hotel situated right by the beach in Adeje. 4 pools. 2 not heated 2 heated. Rooms were nice. The breakfast was great - Buffet style, tremendous choice. Breakfast Staff were great especially young Javier. We ate in the Italian restaurant. It got busy very quickly and staff seemed harassed and short staffed. We were sat by a doorway and kept getting brushed past when the staff were going past because there wasn’t much room there. The food was ok but nowhere near Michelin star quality.

Excellent hotel, would definitely recommend for some winter sun. Facilities are great, staff very friendly and its located close to Tenerife Airport. Food generally very good and the rooms lovely. My husband found the bed very hard but I slept well. A very large hotel but it never felt crowded, there was lots of space and no issue with finding an available sunbed in the morning times.

We first went to Del Duque back in 2011. In the intervening years we went to Abama twice and tried the Gran Melia Palacio de Isora. As our children are now teenagers I thought they would prefer to be more central and less remote. Before we left there were some negative reviews on trip advisor about the condition of the hotel which got my daughter worried.|I like the traditional Canarian feel of the hotel and layout - it has character. Yes some of the reception areas are dated but the only area that looked in need of some maintenance were the pathways around Casas Ducales. |The sea view deluxe rooms were an excellent size with sofa and chairs at one end - a lot of hotels now call this a junior suite and charge according. Bathroom was great with separate shower room and wc and a solid door going into bathroom. There seems to be a trend with new/refurbished hotels having open/glass doors to the bathroom which doesn't work with a teenage boy and girl sharing|Del Duque beach was better than I remembered and lots of good restaurant options in and around the hotel. My wife booked some restaurants before we went and Kensei was best. We had a fantastic meal. Would have gone again but no availability. Need to book restaurants before you arrive to avoid disappointment. Mirador restaurant outside hotel was good. Would be nice to have different breakfast location options.|I think we only paid about £1k more for flights/accommodation than we did back in 2011 so it represented amazing value. We all enjoyed our return visit and I think we will come back again. I prefer Del Duque to Abama and Gran Melia but if you have young children the 'private' beach at Abama is a benefit and their one bed suites are a good size at 90 sqm (some have bathroom + separate wc/basin) and worked well when children want to be in your room.

From the arrival to the departure, everything went perfectly. The rooms was great, the staff had been smiley and helpful everywhere and the outdoors are just fab! If you have kids I highly recommend the kids club. I am only dreaming to go back!

Overpriced and Outdated with Rude Service I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting a luxurious experience given the extremely high prices. Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. First, the hotel’s equipment and facilities are incredibly outdated. The furniture looks like it hasn’t been replaced in decades. The worst part, however, was the service. The receptionist, Irene, was particularly rude and unhelpful, treating guests as if they were a burden rather than valued customers. Instead of making the stay pleasant, she made it frustrating. For the price this hotel charges, you can find far better options with modern amenities and professional staff.

When i say this place completed my honeymoon, I truly mean it! This resort treats you like family, their service is incredible, their energy is always positive, and their food is AMAZING! They help you make reservations each day, we tried pretty much every restaurant they have on here with most of them being Michelin experiences! We initially only booked 2 nights for the start of our honeymoon before heading north for a few days, then last minute we cancelled our tail end of the trip stay to stay here again for 4 amazing nights. We cannot recommend this place enough. You will feel part of their family as soon as you walk through the door. Thanks again for the amazing experience, my husband and I are truly grateful and we will certainly be back in the future!
