Good points:-|Very clean|Pool facilities are excellent |Breakfast was good.|Children's entertainment is excellent. |Bad points:-|90% of staff incredibly rude really need to be retrained in people skills and basic good maners.|The 2 double rooms on the first floor were disgraceful. Broken locks on windows that left my pregnant neice feeling very vulnerable, we asked to change the room but was told no, nothing else available. That's what you paid for, strange that because I paid the same and had a lovely room. |When we arrived at approx 11am we were told our room would not be ready until 3pm. Other members of our party had to wait even longer for their rooms. So our first day was spent waiting for rooms. At no time did any member of staff apologise. Bearing in mind, the check-in queue was at least 40 mins. So every time you went to see if the room was ready, at the time suggested by reception, you had to queue again.|Unable to use hotel towels by the pool, so I had to buy towels. The toiletries provided were somewhat lacking. Little sachets .|Please don't let your children fetch any pool toys, ball etc, they are not allowed.|And lastly, why do they charge 1.20 euros for a glass of ice.|I definitely will not be returning to this pool and would never recommend it to anyone |

Everything was absolutely wonderful! Despite some of the online reviews, I personally found everything at this hotel to be truly great. The hotel was very clean, the food was delicious, and overall, it’s a fantastic place for families with children — every evening there’s entertainment for the little ones, followed by shows for adults. The staff was very friendly, understanding, and helpful whenever needed. And I have to mention the view from our room — it was simply breathtaking, we were left speechless! Honestly, everything was amazing. The hotel offers everything you might need, and if you go outside, the beach is just a 10-minute walk away — or even 7 minutes if you use Google Maps. There are plenty of shops and restaurants all around. This hotel really has it all. I also want to say a special thank you to Melissa and her Guest Experience team for helping me organize a surprise for my wife’s birthday — cake, flowers etc, everything was arranged in advance over the phone before we even arrived, and they handled it all with such care and attention to detail. Thank you again, Gran Bali Hotel, for a truly beautiful stay. We will definitely come back, because we’ve been left with such wonderful memories. Damian.

We booked through Jet2 holidays for a 5 day break. This was our first time in Benidorm so choose this hotel as it fit what we felt we both wanted from a holiday. Our first impressions were high from the 4* rating which we didn’t know until arrival as well as the well presented interior. We were full board, and went to both restaurants which are buffet, there’s no allergy cards out but as someone who is lactose intolerant and my friend being dairy free & gluten free, we found a good selection of food options. They also offer lactose free and soya milk in the down stairs restaurant at breakfast. The pools were well looked after and clean, as some with sensitive skin the pool water was not an issue! It was a 10 min walk to the beach where you could hire sun loungers for 6€ each. The only issues with this venue, location is away from main town life so if you’re not keen on a walk it’s 10€ in the taxi which picks up outside the hotel. The staff were also not so friendly, most looked like they hated their jobs and would actively avoid serving me at the bar if not stood in certain places. At the restaurant, we sat down on a table of 4 due to it being so busy and a couple did the same behind us. The waiter comes over and takes their drink order saying nothing about being sat on a table for 4 but then proceeded to come over to us and complain about where we were sat, moved my bag off the table and moved the 2 places we weren’t sat at. DONT PAY THE 15€ for the sky bar, we paid 3€ for the same experience except with no cocktail and reclaimed our 3€ downstairs on the bar. Entertainment was ok but nothing special. 10/10 for the blokes who dressed up at water aerobics though! ||Would I stay here again? Perhaps but might be more inclined to stay more central.

Just home from Gran Hotel Bail, overall we had a great time, online reviews made us wary but honestly we had a great time! Staff were very helpful and friendly, Rooms were kept fresh by the maids, location is good if you want a more peaceful stay in Benidorm like we did, if you want a trip to old town etc just hop on the number 2 or number 3 bus. Waiting times for the lifts aren't that bad! Some people are just impatient 😂 The only thing that I'd say let them down was the food, The food was good however a bit repetitive and sometimes lacked flavour. Entertainment next to the pool could be improved with maybe some more music during the day but that's not a huge issue. All in all it was a great stay and I'd recommend Gran Bali if you're looking for a more relaxed location in Benidorm ☺️

Overall a Very satisfactory and pleasant experience at this hotel. At first arrival the size and architecture of the hotel is amazing and really looks premium compared to other surrounding hotels in the area. Went for a lads holiday and really didn’t expect much but the hotel really delivered a good experience for us. The bartenders were friendly, lifeguards very nice and helpful and there was plenty of nice guests at the hotel. The rooms were satisfactory. Decent bed with very nice air conditioning and a good balcony which demonstrates a very nice view of the place, Cleaners were very efficient and friendly too. Facilities were Ok, The shower was decent but would either be really cold or too hot but it is not the biggest issue. Was provided a lot of toiletries and the facilities in general did not lack anything. The pool however was amazing and delivered a very good experience to my holiday The location is also quite good. Even though it’s far from ‘the strip’ it avoids the hectic nature of it. It’s a good place to relax. Taxi to the Benidorm strip is around €12 which isn’t bad at all. Views are fantastic and not much reason to complain really Overall- I would recommend to anyone looking for a more premium hotel for Benidorm

We arrived late on a Saturday and had no issues with any queues (we did see queues throughout the week but it is to be expected in a hotel of this size. The man that checked us in was polite enough (maybe abit quiet but I am guessing at midnight on a Saturday he will be very tired from a busy day) and sorted out a safe key for us upon request. |The hotel itself is beautiful with plenty of places to eat and get a drink.|We had a room on the 18th floor of the smaller tower and the views were absolutely amazing. The room itself was very clean and our maid was very helpful when I asked for an extra towel and the air con worked so well we had to turn it off a few times as we felt cold. Beds were clean and comfy and bathroom again very clean however slightly dark if using the shower over the bath but that was not at any sort of detriment to our holiday.|We were room and breakfast only but the breakfast was fab with plenty of choice. The queue for the toaster where the bread is could be quite long but we sat at the other side where there was another toaster that people obviously couldn't be bothered to look for as I didn't have to queue once to use it.|There is a wide selection of drinks at all bars and reasonably priced too for a hotel.|The entertainment is mostly Spanish however they were trying to speak in as many different languages as possible but let's be honest it's a hotel in Spain so you can't expect all the staff and entertainment to speak every language of every guest. The entertainment seemed to do what it is supposed to (entertain!!) and the few bits we saw looked fun and the bingo was very good to watch and was nice to see people getting involved. The kids disco also seemed to keep them happy so what more could you ask for?! (It actually made me sad watching them all have fun as I had travelled without my guilty and felt a pang of guilt).|The rooftop bar is amazing and we went up in the outside lift which I was worried about but honestly was amazing watching the view get better the higher you go. And the price is actually quite worth it as the drink you get up there is of high quality and the views are breathtaking. My partner and I got engaged whilst up there so obviously that made it even more special.|The lifts were adequate enough however we did see queues for tower 2 however that again is to be expected with the amount of rooms in that tower.|Also to mention the day beds at the pool side... they are amazing... you do have to pay (80euros). However that price includes some drinks and a fruit platter and the use of beach towels and the bed for the day. It does seem alot to pay but I didn't want to fight over sunbeds (there weren't many left when we went down and I refuse to queue or rush to put my towel on a bed, in fact I really do feel that there needs to be a rule enforced in all hotels with some sort of system that if you are not in the pool area then you cannot keep your towel on a bed but I doubt that could ever really work as too many people are just selfish) so we paid for the use of the day bed twice and honestly it was fab and we actually felt well worth the money for a proper relaxed day in the sun. A few people did seem to just use the beds without paying however the management did politely ask them to move as obviously it would of felt unfair if we had paid while others were using it for free.|It is a long way out from new town but we did walk it a few times and also used taxis which were very reasonably priced and always available straight outside the hotel.|We also did the waterfall excursion which was very good for the money amd a lovely sight to see.|Anyway all in all we had a brilliant holiday and would definitely return in future.|

So we arrived yesterday morning, the reception lady was fab she's couldn't help us enough, so we went up to the room which was tired but ample with 4 beds 2 double and 2 single, switch on the tele didn't work so sorted it out and low and behold all the English channels don't work, ooh and the fridge door is hanging off . But never mind we will go for the evening meal . We'll to my surprise it was fabulous, we all really enjoyed it lots of choice and good. Right the most important thing apparently to all my family of which I'm getting right ear ache from them all is no bloody wi -fi . So I'm going down to reception after breakfast to see what's what , it's only our first day and if nothing happens we won't let it spoil our holiday and we will get on with it . P.S The pools are fantastic .

Came to the Benidorm dance festival to stay at this hotel for convenience. The check in is super slow. Over 1h wait. Then waiting for my room to be released at 4pm! Some reviews tell you that the hotel is modern and the hotel staff is friendly. I must have gone to a different hotel! 😅 The breakfast is quite bad. Processed food and no natural juices. On a positive side, the room is nice and the bed is comfy. However, we are on level 14 and the animations they have on the ground floor pretty is super loud! It goes until midnight every single day!

Yelp
This is a complete trash can how they call themselves a hotel is insane it more that a motel! Where do I begin The rooms haven't been renovated since the 90s the furniture is old outdated and worn down the beds are the same! Don't forget to bring your own beach towels or you'll be charged 15€ per towel with a €5 cleaning fee per towel! As if that wasn't bad enough tired to get ice not one machine called the front desk after calling ten times was told to call room service room service said call front desk then front desk transferred me back to room service All the while this is going on I'm listening to must annoying children's music blaring from the pool If you want a nice relaxing vacation do not stay here you'd be better off at motel 6 in fact!

Yelp
I did not stay in this hotel, but since the other comment was mistaken, I think some real info could help. This hotel is only 5 min walk away from the biggest beach in Benidorm, but is it up a steep hill. I don't know how it could not be in a typically tourist area: Benidorm as a whole is a tourist area. Note that it is 2km away from city centre, but a bus will take you there in 10 min. Don't know about the rooms but I know it is not like a 4 or 5 star hotel. It is good old charter hotel.

Yelp
Een redelijk goed hotel zeker de prijs waard om eens een weekje te zijn. Helaas is de klim terug van het strand minder. Uitgaan is minder daar moet je voor naar Benidorm
