I really wanted to like this hotel, it’s small, cute, and the staff is very nice. But my stay was a total nightmare because I couldn’t sleep a single night properly.
The AC is positioned directly over the bed, blowing cold air right into your face. I had to turn it off, but then the room became unbearably hot – impossible to sleep either way. On top of that, there’s some kind of motion-sensitive light in the room that turns on when you move. So imagine trying to sleep, shifting slightly in bed, and suddenly being woken up by bright light. How does that even make sense in a hotel room?
When I checked out, I explained everything to the receptionist. He apologized, which was nice, but honestly, “sorry” doesn’t make up for a sleepless night. At the very least, a gesture – even something small like a chocolate or a discount – would have shown real care.
It’s a shame because the place has potential, but you simply cannot fail at something as basic as providing a good night’s sleep.
