Where to begin....|My experience was not good. Here's why.|The hotel has a mainly French clientele. They are noisy, especially when they have been drinking. When they finally come up to their rooms they spend 30mins in the hallway shouting at each other, absolute no consideration to the other guests. On the finally night I went into the hall and let rip, this was at 1.30am. Then the binmen start emptying bins at around 2am and again at 5am. Although this isn't directly the hotels fault, it did ruin my stay. |Breakfast: the cooked food is dreadful, it really is. Undercooked and cold. It sits there for four hours without being touched. The continental food was acceptable and I ate that each morning. Even had Cava, which was nice. |The hotel itself in the communal areas is very nice and presentable. It's the bedrooms that let it down. I had a standard room, a bed, a side table and a shower room, that's it. The bed was not comfy and I did not sleep well on it, plus with what I wrote above didn't help. The balcony was tiny and was overlooked by 30 balconies from the opposite hotel. The wooden flooring near the bathroom was rotten and swollen and was sharp to walk on.|As soon as you step outside the hotel front door you'll be confronted by drug dealers trying to sell you the latest goods. The hotel sits on top of a nightclub and when it's kicking out time at 5am, you know about it. |This hotel is not a 4* but I would say a 3*. There is no kettle in the room or iron, it was missing the simple things. If you're a younger person who wants a hotel in the middle of things and is better than the other hotels in the area, then this could be a good choice. That's if you can take the other nationalities shouting outside your room.|Would I return, sadly no.|
