What a fabulous hotel! Great room stayed in room 645 one of the superior rooms and Iit certainly was. The ground floor pool good but the rooftop pool area is fantastic. Not just 2 pools but a beautiful area to relax with a shaded area festooned with comfy sofas and seating areas. The pool bar hood where you can order food if feeling peckish. All staff welcoming and only happy to help with all your needs special shout out to Nuria on reception a real credit to the hospitality industry our first time in Lloret de Mar a really great impression and will not be our last at the Gran Flamingo

Where to begin....|My experience was not good. Here's why.|The hotel has a mainly French clientele. They are noisy, especially when they have been drinking. When they finally come up to their rooms they spend 30mins in the hallway shouting at each other, absolute no consideration to the other guests. On the finally night I went into the hall and let rip, this was at 1.30am. Then the binmen start emptying bins at around 2am and again at 5am. Although this isn't directly the hotels fault, it did ruin my stay. |Breakfast: the cooked food is dreadful, it really is. Undercooked and cold. It sits there for four hours without being touched. The continental food was acceptable and I ate that each morning. Even had Cava, which was nice. |The hotel itself in the communal areas is very nice and presentable. It's the bedrooms that let it down. I had a standard room, a bed, a side table and a shower room, that's it. The bed was not comfy and I did not sleep well on it, plus with what I wrote above didn't help. The balcony was tiny and was overlooked by 30 balconies from the opposite hotel. The wooden flooring near the bathroom was rotten and swollen and was sharp to walk on.|As soon as you step outside the hotel front door you'll be confronted by drug dealers trying to sell you the latest goods. The hotel sits on top of a nightclub and when it's kicking out time at 5am, you know about it. |This hotel is not a 4* but I would say a 3*. There is no kettle in the room or iron, it was missing the simple things. If you're a younger person who wants a hotel in the middle of things and is better than the other hotels in the area, then this could be a good choice. That's if you can take the other nationalities shouting outside your room.|Would I return, sadly no.|

When we arrived we found out we got a room upgrade from the hotel which was lovely. The lobby/hotel was very modern, minimalist and beautiful. The location of the hotel was very handy, close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. We got a superior room which was nice, however it was at the back of the hotel so our balcony views were not great. Looking directly into other rooms and backs of buildings. This didn’t bother us hugely as we were rarely on it. The pools upstairs were very nice, long but shallow so no deep swimming. The bar made good cocktails and the food you can order from it was very good especially for the price. (€8 for a big bowl of spaghetti bolognese for example). If you choose this hotel make sure to leave your valuables and medicines in a bag or drawer. I left a packet of medicine on my bedside locker and when I came back to retrieve it, the cleaners had come in and my medicine was gone. This medicine is one I have to take daily, so I had to go to the chemist the next day and pay for a new packet, which was €20 out of my pocket (it’s free in my country). Other than this, our stay was great and I would recommend the hotel

The superior room beds are absolutely massive! The hotel is so clean and fresh. The breakfast and dinner food selection was delicious. There really was something for everyone. We had the rooftop access which was a perfect little extra and the cocktails served up there were delicious! We really did have the very best of times there even though the weather was not ideal, the hotel facilities made up for it. Fantastic!!!!!!

Arrived here late last night, the lovely Lukas checked me in. Superior room, fabulous breakfast this morning. If it’s not there you are not hungry! Ideally located for bars, walks etc. I walked to the lady monument this morning, a lovely coastal walk. |Spent this afternoon relaxing on the rooftop terrace and pool( only available if you book superior or premium) great ambiance there.

This hotel was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On checking in we were upgraded to a superior room with access to the Rooftop lounge, bar and pools. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and everything was piping hot. The beach, bars, shops and restaurants are only a 5 minute walk away.

The hotel and poolside decor is absolutely beautiful. The staff are very nice. Great location. Very clean. Breakfast is great with a really good selection. We stayed in a standard room which was clean, all in working order and large balcony. Would stay here again.

POSITIVES-The hotel itself is lovely, breakfast buffet had lots of choice, although the hot food was only just warm!|Bar drinks were good. Friendly staff. ||NEGATIVES-A very noisy hotel at night due to location. The noise doesn’t stop till 3/4am|Also you hear everything from your neighbours, even down to their toilet being flushed!
