Gran Hotel Nagari Boutique & Spa

False advertising on the website. Multiple photographs of a swimming pool including advertising children’s swimming hours which is the main reason I chose the hotel. On check in, no mention of any pool restrictions, only an offer to book a spa service which I already had. Went to use the pool and told it is €25 per hour per person charge despite being guests at the hotel all week. Front desk were not helpful and said I had booked a ‘room only rate’. Usually this means that breakfast is not included - not that you cannot use the hotels amenities. Never have I stayed in a hotel advertising a pool in multiple photographs that does not include access to it. Nowhere on the website is this clearly stated except on check out where there is an option to choose a package included 1 hour of spa access per adult. Spa is not the same as pool. Additionally, on checking in for our treatment (booked for 5 treatments total) was told that the spa is not included in the treatment and we can’t even sit by the pool and have a coffee before. Eventually after asking to speak to the manager a couple of times, the manager came. She was not friendly and kept arguing/interrupting rather than listening to what I was saying. Eventually said we could use for 30 minutes before our treatment but continued to keep talking after about it how it wasn’t included when she could have politely offered it and left us happy guests rather than leaving feel frustrated and stressed. For a ‘5 star’ hotel the service is poor, the staff unhelpful and you can’t turn off the lights in the bedroom without calling down to reception and getting them to turn them off for you.

Disappointed that the drinks service was extremely slow. The hotel was let down by a young guy waiting tables in the bar. Poor attitude and zero respect for the customer in a 5 star hotel! Also I have never stayed in any hotel throughout the world where they charge €25 per customer per hour to use a tiny swimming pool!! The rest of the hotel staff and service was very good…just a few issues can ruin the experience!

Exceptional venue in a very nice site in Vigo. Very central, very comfortable. Excellent food in the restaurant and bar. Many amenities such as the soa and pool. Some small caveats: the staff should have a little more training as this is a five star hotel. Sometimes negligent but did not stain the main satisfaction with such excellent hotel. A must go!

Beautiful hotel - great location but rooms without the possibility to adjust temperatures… that is just not good enough. We have visited the hotel twice - during our Camino - and the staff is great and the service and spa is over the top. But spending 2 hours with reception during the night because they cannot make the aircon work that is a nightmare. Then when we ask for a discount or compensation upon check out - they have to ash a manager… now two days later that manager still hasn’t reached out..

My husband and I were not guests but visited the roof top pool for the day. The staff, particularly Fernando I think his name was on reception who facilitated our visit. Great experience

Very centrally located with wonderful restaurants nearby! Walkable with a very nice park right outside ! Very warm, friendly and attentive staff! Nice spa too! Would definitely stay here again !

Impeccable service, perfect location and amazing restaurants. Stay here!!!! We had two rooms - one with a balcony overlooking the park and then the grand suite overlooking the ocean. The main dinner restaurant delivered the best meal we had in Vigo and the bar food was amazing g as well. The service is the best. Fun boutique hotel - stay here and don’t think twice. Perfect location too!!!

Beautiful & modern boutique hotel.... Only but, for us, there was not one towel holder for your face towel...a bit uncomfortable. The rest was impeccable, the hotel group of workers were very helpful and kind

I had the opportunity to stay here for a 4 day work trip and enjoyed every minute of it. From the delicious breakfast, respectful and expedient staff, to the pool/sauna facilities; it truly was a retreat after work hours. I especially liked the in room nespresso, and automatic window shades; not something I expected. More importantly the room was quiet and the shades helped with the sun. My only complaint is the bed was quite firm and pillows not great. Although to be fair they have a pillow menu so had I not been lazy, that could have been alleviated. If included in your room package, you get 1 hour at the pool per day but it has to be scheduled. That I found quite counter intuitive to relaxation however I do appreciate that the pool and hot tubs were never busy as a result of the scheduling. The location is perfect of course and close to many things to do. My review may be quite biased as I wasn't footing the bill but the price really wasn't bad for a 5 star hotel; far less than many 3-4 star hotel in the states and I would pay it myself if I was looking for a relaxing hotel room.
