Gran Hotel Stella Maris Urban Resort & Conventions

I left with a feeling I had been ripped off. U$390 a night. Nothing in my room worked, from safe box to shower control. Room appearance was awful. I’d be better off in any reasonable bed and breakfast. Not to mention the cleaning standards. A shower cap left behind the bathroom door by previous guest and the garbage not collected from bin. I had to wait until the next afternoon to change room. The presence of unhappy guests complaining at the reception is constant. The staff doesn’t do much about it, not because they don’t want to, but because it is just the reality of the establishment. They charged me for a bottle of mineral water in the room. I was also charged to use a hotel towel in the swimming pool. That hotel has no 4 stars standards at all. The authorities need to inspect it and downgrade it. It’s a place for families who want a low budget holiday, since you can have a room for 3 people at the same price. If there was anything good about it. It was the breakfast. Apart from that, forget it.

This is a great hotel and great value for the price! The rooms are big with everything needed. The hotel staff are polite and effective, answering everything we needed from early check-in and late check-out to extra towels. We also really enjoyed the breakfast which has all kinds of food and enjoyed it thoroughly. Really enjoyed my stay!

It’s a nice resort, but it needs a renovation. The installations are a bit old. Also it’s for families, with lots of kids around. If you’re looking for something relaxing, might not be the best option. There are lots of activities during the day near the pool, with very loud music.

One of the most uncooperative hotel staff I have ever met and I travel very frequently! I forgot my glasses at the beach and one of the guys running a drink booth on the beach handed these in to the security guard at the gate. The hotel DID NOTHING to locate them, kept referring to their 'lost and found' department that never contacted me. Another guest forgot a necklace and called from the taxi within 15 minutes, telling the staff exactly where she left it. "Nothing found" was the reply. To me this hotel is blacklisted and I recommend everybody to AVOID this hotel or make 200% sure you watch your stuff carefully, since I would not be surprised if the staff has some side-business trading 'lost and found' things.

Lovely place with a great atmosphere clean elegant with several restaurants right in front of the beach which offers calm natural pools in the low tide

Not for adults, this hotel is intended for families with children, everything closes at 22, and there is absolutely nothing to do, they charge for pool towels, everything is pretty outdated, wifi dosnt work, pool smells like pee and it's full of children

Great hotel, with all the commodities to stay in there. The food on the buffet was always good. And to have the beach just steps away is something great. I was on there on a programming competition, and we use all the commodities in there. I recommend the hotel if you have an event like this.

The hospitality is exceptional in every aspect of the hotel service. Beautiful location, pool is great for both adults and children. Also have a separate children pool and area. Included breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of delicious options. Breakfast staff was very accomplished and made breakfast area welcoming.
