Gran Hotel Uspallata

Would not recommend - my girlfriend complained about this hotel for a week afterwards. Old 4-star hotel turned 2-star from age. The only thing updated since original construction is the hallways. The facade disappears as soon as you open the door. No A/C - loud ceiling fan required earplugs to sleep. Outdated bathroom ammenities Breakfast had no fresh food - deli ham and cheese with stale bread and cereal.

Stayed one night. It is well located, in a quiet place. The breakfast was included. The dinner was cantina style, not expensive, very convenient for a one night stay.

The service is great, everyone greets you with a smile, very nice and it's all in very good conditions. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom has a bathtub and there's a mini fridge to keep you own beverages cold.

A very calm place. Everything perfectly clean. The surrounding invites you to walk around and rest in the nature. The host was super nice and gave us great recommendations. Would love to come back.

The hotel is great. All facilities work perfectly well. Rooms are modern and large. Bathrooms are super clean y cozy. The hotel is very large so you have plenty of spaces to be at, dinning room, living room, playroom, pool, etc. It is located a few blocks from main uspallata. Great and largo outdoor park. ||The only problem was the people working there. Waiters were very unattentive. The meal services were 1 hour delayed every time. A lot of waiting for someone to attend our table. we were there with our babygirl and many times we asked for them to bring food quicker as she was hungry, but they couldnt care less. employees talked back at us in a very rude manner when asked something.

The place is awesome since it is located in an outstanding place, with a wonderful sight of the Mountains. On the other hand there is much improvement needed in some areas of the hotel and the service provided. For instance, we were charged with "summer fees" but the pool was closed. The personal was unable to provide any solutions and we were left feeling pretty swindled. Bathrooms and rooms have often old equipment or low maintenance.

Oh my God! This hotel has animals to entertain their guests, like a petting zoo, but the animals are not cared for, see pictures. The llamas haven’t had their hooves trimmed in a very, very long time. The hooves are gnarled and the animals can’t stand up straight forcing the knee and hip joints they are in constant pain. Fenced in small area with goats, sheep, roosters, etc they are not let out to exercise or pasture. Appalling.

Do not confuse the hostel and hotel as many seem to do so even if they are located both on the same beautiful and large ground.||For the hotel this was our 4th stay, we love the large rooms although they are outmoded, but is always disappointing, only table d ' hôte restaurant deserves a note. The buffet breakfast is excellent with beautiful fruit. The pool was closed in February. The wi - fi connection worked only in public areas.||||Quality price interesting if you pay cash.||For the hostel:||The most: the price, the land, good connection wi - fi in the lounge and on the terrace, beautiful terrace.||Least: very small rooms, no storage, breakfast consisting only of bread and instant coffee, restaurant of the hostel closed for lunch, restaurant open hotel.
