Gran Melia Arusha

I stayed at Gran Meliá Arusha for my honeymoon and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel itself is stunning — from the beautifully maintained grounds to the elegant facilities, every detail exceeded expectations. Cleanliness was impeccable, easily a 10/10.||The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. A special mention to Yohana, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made a difference.||I’ve stayed at many hotels, but none quite compare to this one. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. I’ll definitely be coming back one day and highly recommend Gran Meliá Arusha to anyone visiting the area.

This hotel was high end all the way. The staff was attentive, helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable and modern. |We were lucky enough to get a room with Mt.|Meru view. It was breathtaking. ||It was the first high end hotel I had ever been to|That wasn’t a complete rip off. Had a waygu steak dinner with my husband and a bottle of wine, cocktails anther entree and sides and it was $150 with the tip!! Drink prices very reasonable too||Beautiful pool area with plenty of outdoor seating.

We only stayed one night at Gran Melia Arusha before starting our safari journey, but it was unforgettable! The food was delicious, the vibe was amazing, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were top tier - luxurious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. I truly wish we had more time here!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Stayed over a month in Arusha and visited the rooftop almost daily. The views of Mt Meru are spectacular, simply cannot get enough of this beautiful view. The pizzas, chips Maia and steaks are excellent.

Gran Meliá Arusha exceeded my expectations with its vast, beautiful gardens and wonderful staff, especially the receptionist, Winnie. Her warm and professional service made my stay extra special. The food service could be improved a little, but overall, it was a truly enjoyable experience.

An amazing hotel to spend the day at before kicking off our safari. Very attentive staff, amazing rooms, and the masseuses did a great job at the spa. I can’t imagine a much nicer hotel! The buffet breakfast was very good and allowed us to try some local cuisine.

The views are breathtaking, the rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, and the food is without question some of the best you’ll find in Arusha. It blends European standards with a very real commitment to sustainability, including support for the local SANAA social enterprise project. This balance of luxury, ethics, and genuine care makes Grand Malia stand out as an industry leader. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arusha – whether for business, leisure, or conferences. It is not only a beautiful place to stay but a true example of what responsible and gracious hospitality should look like.
