We walked in on a Sunday late afternoon, we’re easily seated. Very nice interior, very comfortable environment. The overall dining experience was good, but considering the visual impression of the establishment, we anticipated a higher level of food quality than what we received. Caico e Pepe was not very well prepared, and the broccoli was just ordinary, broccoli, not what we would expect from an Italian restaurant, which would minimally be broccoli rabe. The servers were very attentive. If you are in this neighborhood, however, I’m looking for an Italian restaurant, I would still recommend. Pizza was fantastic!!!

Google
Incredible experience with 10/10 service and 10/10 food. The staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable, and they create a beautiful, fine-dining atmosphere. The food is authentic and original, and it is obvious why this restaurant has been thriving for 10 years in New York City.

Google
Great Italian spot. Made a same day reservation. We got the meatball and artichoke appetizers. Meatballs had a wonderful sauce. Artichokes were very flavorful. The bass picatta was really good. The meat lasagna special was extremely cheesy. Tiramisu was wonderful! Staff was very attentive.

Great Citizen

Google
The restaurant is nicely decorated. The ambiance is great. The food, however, was just okay. They have experimented with traditional recipes, but the dishes taste weird... it sounds interesting to have fig puree as a pizza sauce, but it tastes too sweet and, at times, tangy. The drinks were interesting, and everyone loved them, but food was somewhat of a letdown. This place is pricey. If you have a sizeable group, then Bill will add up pretty quickly...

Google
I have been shocked into posting a review by an amazing delivery experience. I ordered from a 20 min walk away (my apartment) at 6:50pm and the food was delivered piping hot at 7:09pm. The food was delicious and came so fast. Only in NYC can you get this quality of food in such a timely fashion. We will be ordering again. Thanks a lot

Google
Excellent!! I loved everything from this place. All the staff was amazing , the host, the server, the helpers, THE FOOD. I had the best mocktail of my life, my boyfriend got a spicy marg super good too. I'm not a tiramisu lover but the one here was to die for! and the exquisite pastas. I highly recommend this place 10/10

Google
Good quality food in nice European size portions. The service was really great, and the place has a nice calming atmosphere. And I found the prices to be reasonable compared to the quality you get.

Google
Really great food here. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff/service were excellent. There were 7 of us for a work dinner and we chose the family plan option which worked out great for us. There was plenty of food for all of us. The meatballs and ricotta appetizers were excellent. We also had the fig pizza which was good but just a tad too sweet for some. The steak was very good and the squid ink pasta was my favorite. So tasty and a little spicy. The desserts looked great but they were just ok when we ate them. Overall I really liked this place and will hopefully be back for some more.

Yelp
As someone who is truly passionate about Italian cuisine, I can confidently say that Gran Morsi went above and beyond my expectations in every possible way. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the warm yet stylish ambiance, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu is a perfect balance of tradition and innovation, offering a modern interpretation of beloved Italian classics while maintaining the rich, bold flavors that make the cuisine so special. Every dish is crafted with the freshest ingredients, ensuring that each bite bursts with authentic taste. One of the highlights of the meal was the influence of their brick oven, which imparts a subtle smokiness to several dishes, enhancing the depth of flavor in the most delightful way. Beyond the exceptional food, the service was equally impressive. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to provide recommendations, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're a longtime New Yorker or visiting the city for the first time, Gran Morsi is an absolute must-visit for anyone who appreciates high-quality Italian cuisine served in an elegant yet inviting setting. I can't wait to return and explore more of their incredible menu!

Yelp
WOW! Such a beautiful space. The entire staff was incredible and it's clear that teamwork is a value here. We were one of several large groups on a Wednesday night and we still had an incredible experience. Fortunately, because I was part of a group, I got to try a number of the dishes! The fritto misto is light and tasty. The arancini was light and creamy, but a little salty for my taste. (I would still order it again!) The herbed potatoes were crispy and perfect. The broccoli rabe made me feel good about including veggies, but was a little salty for my taste. The homemade focaccia was amazing! I could seriously just eat only that every day and be happy. The standouts for me are the Margherita pizza, which was one of the best I've ever had; and the Agnolotti which was just perfection! Try to save room for dessert, if you can! The cheesecake and tiramisu were good, but the flourless chocolate cake was the perfect way to end the meal. I will definitely be back on future trips to NYC!

Yelp
Service was great, employees are professional and attentive. Beautiful space - nice ambiance. However, I was really there for the food which I thought was either bad or absolutely bland, portions were ridiculously small, the fish tartar was not fresh at all and after a $300 I left there hungry and the aftertaste of the old fish lingered. You won't see me there again.

Yelp
Lovely Italian restaurant in Tribeca which I love as a cozy local option for dinner on a weeknight. It doesn't get too busy but service and food is good quality. Highlights were the kale Caesar, and the pasta dishes had big portions of protein (which I find to be a nice surprise!). I really enjoyed the tiramisu!!

Yelp
Just WOW! Spectacular service! Amazing food! Drinks were perfection my husband and I went to celebrate valentines & our 10th year wedding anniversary and the server was so delightful and attentive. Food was fresh & chef's kiss. Atmosphere was family oriented & beautiful full bar. Will definitely be coming back to try out their pizza, which looks and smells delicious. Thank you team at Gran Morsi your food and service was over the moon! My husband and I felt so well taken care of.

Yelp
A comfortable and pleasant Italian restaurant, with good food! We enjoyed the ricotta, the ceaser salad, lamb gnocchi and chicken. Don't skip the tiramisu. Service is friendly and they are quick on the water refills. It was quiet on a Sunday night, but there was a great playlist in the background.

Yelp
Wonderful Sat night for a date! It was a great find in Fidi. Our reservations was 7pm and the restaurant got crowded immediately. The hostess were amazing. So as busboys. Their original cocktails are so yummy! Food was so delicious!! Must try the meat ball (Polpette)!! and oh... Tiramisuuu..!! We wanted to try both Pasta and Pizza but... for two, one appetizer plus two main was quiet lot! x They will bring the box anyway but just FYI :) Would love to come back for girls night very soon x!

Yelp
Everything was delicious, service was impeccable. I love to see teamwork. The hostess, servers and busboy were very friendly, attentive, fast and knowledgeable. The noise level and ambiance was perfect. All the food came out in a quick succession -- appetizers/ wine, the pizza/ more wine, main course, then dessert. We had a small table, and with each course, the staff was attentive and cleared our table, replaced plates and utensils and packed the food we couldn't finish -- then moved onto the next! The food was AMAZING. My favorite dish was the forest mushroom pizza, which I highly recommend. It has Truffle Roasted Mushrooms, Scallions, Fontina al Agosta. We also ordered: - polpette meatballs: Meatballs that Beat Bobby Flay! San Marzano Tomatoes. Three Per Order - cacio e pepe: Linguine, Parmigiana-Reggiano, Black Pepper. - penne bolognese - Chianti - sauvignon blanc - malbec - tiramisu: Savoiardi, Mascarpone, Amaretto, Cocoa. Wish we could have tried more on their menu. Everything we ordered was top notch. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Came here for a client dinner and I was really surprised with how great it was! The salads were amazing. I feel like I could eat the salads forever! The eggplant zucchini crisps were really good too. They were so thin and crispy and the yogurt sauce was a nice touch too! The service was good as well. Our waiter was polite and nice! The hosts at the front were also pleasant and we were able to snag a last minute reservation! The interior of the restaurant was super cute and was beautifully decorated. I think this would be a cute spot for date night and it's close to a lot of major trains that run the like the city.

Yelp
We attended a baby shower at this venue and had a great time. The place is super cool. Small but can accommodate the invited guests appropriately. The ambiance is just perfect for the event! We were served the simplest appetizers for the cocktail hour but surprisingly filling. The cocktails are good. Glad that we do not have to go to the bar as the service was quick. On our Buffett meal, the hosts choices are perfectly picked. Balance of greens, pasta, meat , veggies & carbs. Various desserts ( pastries and cake) were served after an hour that goes well with our Italian coffee. I would say the foods served are commendable. A recommended place for a gathering. The place is near to a train station for commuters and blocks away for a garage that prefers bringing their vehicle.

Yelp
We went back to Gran Morsi thinking of previous times and sadly this spot has really gone downhill. Hopefully it is because it was a holiday weekend, but I can't be sure. We order the meatballs and the frito calamari to share. The meatballs were good with a delicious marinara sauce. However the frito calamari was so small, not worth the $27 price tag that it is. I have had better calamari and less expensive! Not worth it. For mains, hubby got the pizza, which sadly he said was terrible. The crust was not at all crispy. And I ordered the sea bass, this dish was just bland and the fish did not seem too fresh. Overall, I am very sad to be writing this but Gran Morsi has gone downhill for me.
google avatar

Tyler P.

Yelp
Extremely spacious for a New York restaurant. The kale Caesar salad was unlike anything I've had before. 10/10. Be sure to get the flambé for dessert.
google avatar

Edwin S.

Yelp
Meatballs that beat bobby flay, the Polpette. At first, the way it is marketed in the website makes it seem like an attention grab. That said, leading with such a statement ups the expectations going in. On that note, the meatballs were probably the best I've ever had. Definitely worth a try. Taste: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value for money: 2.5/5 We had: 1) Polpette: the must get! (Used to be 18 now it's 21) 2) Insalata: fairly standard 3) Burrata: can't go wrong here! 4) Agnolotti: not bad The main highlight truly was the meatballs, everything else was not bad, but at the price point they are at, it was difficult to provide a pure 5 stars.

Yelp
My fiancé and I walk a lot when we visit New York City. We decided to treat ourselves to some OTC carb loading with Italian food. I found Gran Morsi on Yelp and was excited by all the photos. We arrived later in the evening and thankfully it wasn't too busy to seat us immediately. This restaurant is very charming. The service is extremely kind. The ambiance is very romantic. I love the dim lighting and plant walls. Our server kindly went over the different menus. They were a part of a special food week and had a $60 three course option. Unfortunately, we weren't hungry enough to each get that. However, we did end up getting some really yummy dishes. I got the linguine cacio e pepe. The sauce was divine. I haven't have a cacio e pepe that good in a while. I finished every last bite and tried my best not to lick the plate. My fiancé got the carbone pizza. Our server warned him it was spicy. It definitely was, but it was delicious. The honey drizzle really complimented the dish. We had a great time at this restaurant. I'd recommend stopping here for Italian food.

Yelp
My colleague found Gran Morsi and thought we should give it a go for a team dinner. I'm so glad she found this place as it truly was enjoyable from the ambiance to the tasty food. Gran Morsi is located in the Tribeca area. Our server was very kind and friendly. We started with a couple of drinks, I ordered the Gran Spritz which was an aperol spritz with grapefruit and ramazzoti Rosato. This was one of the best spritzes I've ever had. It was so refreshing and crisp. We also ordered the arancini and calamari for the table. The calamari was delicious. The arancini was very fresh but I found it a little underwhelming. For my entree I ordered the Cacio e Pepe and a side of broccolini. The pasta was delicious. A great portion with a lot of flavor. The broccolini was also a good portion and very fresh. For dessert I ordered the tiramisu but also tried my colleagues gf lava cake which was decadent and tasty. My favorite dessert was the a layered Nutella dessert. Gran Morsi really has it all - great food and drinks, service, and cute decor.

Yelp
{Overall: 4; Food: 4} Ambiance: 4.5; Service: 4 Gran Morsi is a cosy Italian restaurant in Tribeca. It's a bit of a hidden gem. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and it is the perfect place to catch up with friends over dinner. They often have reservations available and the food is good. The highlights: - Forest Mushroom Pizza - Carbone Pizza - Bucatini (Carbonara) - Tagliatelle (Bolognese)
google avatar

Jim F.

Yelp
Excellent food in Tribeca. My girlfriend and I went to NYC for the weekend. We ate here for my 51st birthday. We enjoyed Tagliatelle Bolognese, pizza, meatballs and whipped ricotta with focaccia. Such a great meal!!
google avatar

Jairo T.

Yelp
We arrived at Gran Morsi to celebrate a bday and it certainly superseded our expectations. Staff was extremely courteous and even offered us the best seat in the house to celebrate! The ambience is warm, romantic and inviting. The tagliatelle and gnocchi dishes were delish. The bolognese sauce didn't skimp on beef and the lamb gnocchi was a first that one me over. Surprisingly, we were most impressed by the kale caesar. In addition to the unique artistic presentation, its probably the best kale caesar I've ever had. To make the dinner even more special they brought out a celebratory bottle sparkle to sing happy bday accompanied by digestivi to cap the night. Its a bit pricey, but well worth the experience for us.

Christine M.

Yelp
I just found this whole review experience to be top notch. Not sure if it's the platform of Reddit or the restaurant but it seems honest and detailed and gave the person reading the chance to make up their own mind. Bravo to restaurant and site.
google avatar

Jillian B.

Yelp
Came here with a larger group and shared a bunch of delicious bites and pizzas.. Crowd favorites included the fried zucchini and the polpette. Tagliatelle was also delicious! Service was on point and efficient (always refilling our water glasses, food pacing was good, etc) and the interior decor was cute.
google avatar

Yelp
Appetizers were wonderful, space was modern and tasteful, service was friendly, but super slow. We only had appetizers and drinks an hour after our seating, that's with reservations. When our meals finally arrived we had to rush as we had another engagement. I appreciate not being rushed and enjoying my meal, but almost two hours for the main course to arrive was a bit long.

Yelp
I came here with two of my friends who also have never been here. We wanted to go somewhere for NYC restaurant week so I found this place and sure glad I did and that we all agreed upon this place. My friends ordered old fashions which on the menu are called Vecchio Stile which is four roses bourbon, angelis orange liqueur, bitters and smoked cedar as their first drink and then one of them ordered a spicy marg which had milagro tequila, amaretto, orange and calabrian chilies and he liked both of the drinks. I had a Tre Fiore: empress 1908 gin, prosecco, elderflower, chamomile, lavender, honey, lemon. The service on our drinks were a bit on the slow side. For food we ordered a margherita pizza to share and my friend and I had the butternut squash soup which had parmigiano-reggiano, sage and pistachio, it was delightful. And other friend had the crudo which was yellowfin tuna, wild salmon, and calabarian chilies and it was crisp. As our mains I had chicken parmigiana that came with chitarra pomodoro. They were all Great portion size and tasty. My other friend had the New York Strip steak which is 14oz, black pepper crusted dish. As a dessert I and my other friend had the Bombolini sundae which was Italian doughnut balls with vanilla gelato and hot chocolate on top. My other friend had the Tiramisu. We also were celebrating a birthday so they brought out a sparkler and also a round of limoncello shots but in non shot glasses. More of an after dinner drink type glasses. Which was very nice of them. Staff were very friendly, took my food allergies into consideration. The atmosphere was chic, though a bit on the noisy side. We had a great table though for the three of us. It was a round booth in the corner which was actually right in front of the Morsi sign so made for a great group picture. I am telling all my family and friends about this place. If you find yourself in the area its a must try place!

Yelp
We flew into NY to visit our son for the holiday and made a reservation here first our first dinner of the trip. It started out well enough even though we had to wait quite a while to order our drinks. The restaurant was packed as you would expect on any given night in Manhattan ,and apparently there was a large party elsewhere in the establishment so we understood the delay. We chose our appetizers but were told because of the large party we needed to order all our food at once. So after about another 15 minutes the server came around to collect our orders. We ordered for the table salad , meatballs, and a cheese dish. The meatballs were good. For dinner we ordered chicken (it was dry) , a white fish ( it was cold), and pasta which was very good. We passed on desert. All in all it was a pleasant evening but not one we felt we would repeat anytime in the near future.
google avatar

Aparna R.

Yelp
The place had a lovely, lovely ambience and interior; friendly and attentive staff; and an extensive wine selection (though I only glanced at the wine list briefly). The food, though, was just alright. The gnocchi was the best dish of the evening. It was rich and creamy. The lamb and gnocchi were cooked to perfection, but even with the small pieces of squash in the sauce, the flavor profile lacked depth. I found myself wanting something *more* a few bites in. The salmon was interesting. This was my first time trying saltimbocca, and I wasn't expecting it to be bitter! It wasn't unpleasant, but I likely wouldn't order this dish again. Fun restaurant, but the food wasn't nearly as good as the service.

Yelp
Decided to come here for restaurant week. What drew me to them was their meatballs that they proudly boast beat Bobby Flay. The meatballs were flavored well but a little dense. They were good but didn't quite wow me. The tomato sauce was super fresh and delish. the crudo was a bit too 'fresh' for us so we sent that back. The kale salad was sooo good. I really enjoyed the dressing. The shoestring fries were tasty but they didn't really go with the meal. The star of the show was the Branzino. The sauce was DIVINE and cooked to perfection. Wow so good. The panettone dessert was overrated. They light the dessert on fire I guess for performance but to me it ended up burning the caramel. So the sauce tasted charred and the bread pudding was sooo soggy inside. Overall not a fan but the portion size was huge and good for sharing. The pear tart wasn't tart at all. I was hoping for something light but it was overall just bland. The Italian doughnuts were too dense but the gelato was good. The drinks were tasty but a little pricey. Customer service was VERY good. Shoutout to Anna. She was really great. Overall, it was a very hit or miss experience but I'd be willing to try them again. It was a little more expensive than I anticipated so we were kind of bummed that we didn't love it.

Yelp
This review is for dinner. I had never heard of this place, so came with zero expectations. Overall, I think it's a solid dinner spot. Was it the best Italian I've had, no, but if you're in the area / want to eat in FIDI, I think it's a great option. Ambiance / Service: not a huge restaurant, but decent size. There was a large party of probably 10-12 when I was there. The vibe is nice, romantic, but relaxed if that makes sense. You can easily go there to meet up with a friend post work or a date night. Service was good. Food: I ordered the below and split amongst 2 people and it was a lot of food. -Polpette (meatballs): comes with 3. These were really good, I recommend. -Caesar: this was good, just not what I was expecting. Kale is chopped very finely and comes almost like how you get tuna tartare. -Agnolotti: no photo. This was creamy and rich. Very good, but the portion is relatively small. Not sure I'd want this as my entire main, but I think it's good to share. -Margherita Pizza: no photo. Perfect to share.

Yelp
Come here when they first open and you have the place to yourself. I really like the ambiance. So peaceful. Lighting is perfect. You can never go wrong with exposed brick. Greenery in the back. Staff was friendly and sweet. On the menu, anything with a leaf is a special dish. I went with the lamb. gnocchi. They make the gnocchi in house and you can tell- soft as clouds. The positive disposition of the staff really stands out above most restaurants.

Nicole D.

Yelp
This place is the best at everything they do. 1. Service upon entry is wonderful. They greet you immediately and offer to take your coat/bag/whatever you got to make you more comfortable 2. The food always hits. Please get the bolognese & if they have a special, go for it! 3. It's a cute and cozy spot - I've been 3x with my fiancé and we never regret it. Please try it out if you can.

Yelp
I'm not gonna like I really like the food and the vibe here. Perfeft place for a date night. I came here during restaurant week this year but kept forgetting to post the review, lol. I apologize for the tardiness. To start off, the cocktails here are pretty good. I got an amber ale, but my homies got some pretty good cocktails. The appetizers were also very good. We all ended up getting the Polpette (meatballs) that beat Bobby Flay. They were pretty flavorful and rich, in my opinion. For our mains, we ordered the new York strip, rigatoni con Funghi, and the tagliatelle. All were delicious, but I feel like the rigatoni was very, very rich. It is heavier than the tagliatelle, but the flavor and creaminess are just BOMB. My friend loved her new York strip, and it was cooked perfectly. For desserts, we ordered tiramisu and the polenta cake. We all weren't really big fans of the dessert here, so they could use some improvement. The service wasn't the best, to be honest. It's actually the main reason why I didn't give this place 5 stars. It was normal for us not to see our waiter,at a minimum, for over 15 minutes at a time. I hope that gets addressed in the future because I did want to come back and try the pizza, but that service was off-putting.
google avatar

Ronak P.

Yelp
Great spot on a quiet street. This place has typical Italian fare that is one upped by the ambiance. As long as there isn't a big party, it's a nice spot for an intimate dinner without it being too noisy. Drinks are also pretty spot on.
google avatar

Eddie C.

Yelp
The food is ok... I got the NY strip and it was alright. The sauce was a bit overpowering. The services were excellent tho. The only thing we didn't like was it was so so so loud inside. Probably won't go back.

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner here Saturday night. The decor is modern and chic, very inviting. We had a few cocktails at the bar first. They were crafted perfectly. Alex, the Manger, was very accommodating. I asked to be seated at a particular table, and they were more then gracious to make that happen. As for the food, the Frittto Misto was light and crispy. The meatball was next level. We split the Tagliatelle that was perfectly al dente and meaty. I added cherry peppers to my Chicken Scarpariello which was excellent. The Veal Chop Milanese was huge, pounded out and pan fired to perfection. All and all a great dinner. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
The ambiance alone makes feel warm, the food is delicious and the service is one the best I've experienced in NYC. In a long time. Gran Morsi is a hidden gem in NYC. It was my first time here. Upon arriving the warmth and ambiance of the restaurant were welcoming. As well as the manager & staff . They offer to take your coats, they were patient while we looked over the menu. Looking around restaurant, it didn't feel like customer eating at their tables. It felt warm, people were enjoying their food and it felt like they knew it was going to be good. Each dish was superb. The dishes were delicious, it felt like I was in thought tasting each ingredients in my meal. The dishes were well presented, cooked with care. We also tried the pizza, there's no way we couldn't try it. After seeing the pics, it exactly what it looks like delicious, tasty, light the dough was exactly right. One dish was The steak (I'm not a meat eater) I couldn't resist having a bite. Another was the salmon light and tasty. Last I'm simple shrimp Gluten free pasta. Yes they have gluten free pasta! Words cannot describe my experience at the Garn Morsi. It was more than customer services. Their mannerism felt warm, I haven't felt that in so long in NYC. Beautiful restaurant, thank you to the waitress she was awesome and patient, the staff were kind and management made us feel welcome. I had a great time.

Yelp
Wow! What an amazing find. Was shopping nearby with a friend and decided to try this out due to fellow Yelp reviews. Y'all are the best! Gorgeous space, knowledgeable and gracious servers helped make this a memorable dinner. The pasta was beyond, fresh, perfect chew and so delicious. Didn't get a pic of the eggplant & zucchini w/mint yogurt because we ate it too quickly! Excellent wine & cocktail menu. A must try.

Danielle B.

Yelp
Great food, great ambience, and excellent customer service! I've eaten at Gran Morsi for work dinners as well as on my own and I cannot recommend it enough! It's really rare to find a restaurant with such wonderful customer service - everyone's so welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend!

Yelp
While in the city last Friday evening. My bf and I were in search of a restaurant for dinner. I checked Yelp and this restaurant came up. It was within walking distance from our hotel so I made last minute reservations. Once seated we were waited upon quickly, and placed an order for pulpo to start. The pulpo was served on a bed of potatoes and was so delicious. Our server had gone over the menu earlier, and when it was time to place our orders for our main dishes we both opted for the specials. The branzino, and lasagna. And were extremely satisfied with our choices. We somehow managed to make room for dessert and split the chocolate lava cake, which was delicious. The ambiance, staff, service, cocktail and food were top notch. We had a great evening and overall great experience. I highly recommend checking them out and I can't wait to return.

Yelp
I was shook at how good the food here was. I am admittedly not much of a pasta fan (I know..). But I clearly wasn't having the real deal. My friend and I shared the arancini which was so good that we ordered another round; the kale salad which was dressed with a house Caesar dressing; and for our mains - my friend had the bolognese pasta and I had the squid ink pasta. Let me tell you about this pasta! It was the cooked perfectly, mildly spicy and didn't skimp on the shrimp and scallops. Can I get an Amen?! Our waiter was attentive and checked in without being pushy in any way. The restaurant itself is super cute as pictured online. Such a vibe. Im from out of town but when I return, this will be one of my first stops.

Yelp
We held our daughter's engagement celebration last evening at Gran Morsi. I cannot say enough great things about the outstanding service that was provided. Skyle, our main contact, was responsive to any and all questions. We utilized the main floor, the space is beautiful-no decorations needed, just a really nice vibe. The staff is outstanding, so pleasant and attentive. Anna, the manager overseeing our event, was amazing, everything we needed was taken care of seemlessly. The food and drinks were delicious. Loved the Gran Spritz! We actually stayed to have dinner after our cocktail event and enjoyed everything! I highly recommend Gran Morsi for any special event or even just for dinner. It is a first class operation! You will not be disappointed!

Dianne G.

Yelp
Gran Morsi was the perfect venue for my daughter's bridal shower. The staff were outstanding! Food was amazing. Everyone raved about the drinks. Ana was professional and took care of every detail. Guests were comfortable having the entire restaurant to ourselves with white tablecloths and candles. Service, ambiance, and vibe hit all the marks!

Yelp
If you're looking for good food and drinks, Gran Morsi is the place to go! Wonderful service was most definitely provided by the GM Skyle and the serving staff. Compliments to the chef and those working hard in the kitchen as well. Overall, a great experience and the ambiance was perfect, it was definitely the icing on the cake!!

Yelp
Ambiance is cute for date night. My boyfriend and I got the Beat Bobby Flay meatballs which were tasty! I liked our appetizer. I got the bucatini carbonara and thought it was pretty decent but not "take my breath away" really good. I'd recommend making a reservation on OpenTable.

Yelp
We held our Wedding Reception Party at Gran Morsi in January 2025. Gran Morsi worked with us to leave no stones unturned to make sure the party layout, food, details were exactly to our liking. The host, servers and bartender were amazing, creating many special experience for all of our guests, and they made sure to check in with me throughout the evening to see if we needed anything. Cannot recommend enough for food, drinks, but also any private events.

Yelp
Was genuinely impressed by how lovely this space is - it really added to the romantic ambience. Food overall was also delicious. I especially enjoyed the forest mushroom pizza. And even though the focaccia bread was more consistent with bread or a light pizza, it was still really good. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with the Linguine Nero - the pasta was a bit over cooked for my liking and there was a bit too much sesame seed toppings. Still, the overall experience at Gran Morsi was really nice, especially with how attentive and friendly the staff was.

Yelp
Food is average, service is so-so and the restaurant is too noisy.. Pretty expensive for what they offer

Yelp
Looking for a spot before a Friday night show at the Flea Theater, we were pleasantly surprised to see a cute place with such solid reviews have availability. Also, always on the lookout for sourdough pizza, I emailed them and received a quick response that their pizza was in fact sourdough. We arrived right on time with our reservation and were very kindly greeted and shown to our seat. (The employee said that he moved us to a more comfortable option.) He also offered to take our coats, to which I obliged. The server was very nice and ran through the specials. They sounded great, but we had mostly decided in advance on the artichoke and the fig and prosciutto pizza. When running through recommendations (at our request), she said the striped bass piccata was a popular dish. We added that. (and a Birra Morretti,) The artichokes were divine! The pizza was also fantastic - larger than we expected. The bass was probably a 3.5 stars for us - my wife's first bite had bones in it. I wouldn't say that I loved any bites until my final one. It wasn't bad, just not great. Maybe it could have used a bit more sauce? I wouldn't order it again, but I a) don't order striped bass much and b) am open to ours being a one-off of not-greatness. In other words, I wouldn't discourage someone else from trying it if they are excited. Definitely squeeze the lemon all over it if do. Overall, 5 stars. It feels like a diamond in the rough in the neighborhood. Great staff, very cozy, and the perfect spot for a date.

Yelp
We had a wedding dinner for 45 people at Gran Morsi and it was over-the -top fantastic! They were so accommodating and helpful. The food that day was excellent only to be outdone by the amazing service. This is a top notch venue and one of the best I have ever worked with. Absolutely so professional! We booked the upstairs part of the restaurant!

Yelp
Was in the mood for some Italian food last night and came to gran Morsi. BEST ITALIAN FOOD EVER! Had the gnocchi with lamb sugo, squash and scamorza and it was very flavorful and very filling for me haha. Service was so kind and informative about the dishes and even sparked little convos throughout my night there since I was dining alone. The ambience was very romantic with cute plant decor but definitely a great spot as well to gather with some close friends and family. Will go again!

Yelp
Had an excellent dining experience. Food was superb and outstanding service... We ordered Artichoke appetizer, for main course two of us had Ravioli Ossobuco and two other had Lobster pasta... Layered chocolate cake for dessert.. Excellent wine recommendation by our server Hector... Fully recommended...

Yelp
We recently celebrated our rehearsal dinner in the private room and it was outstanding! The food to the service was 10/10. It was so easy to work with the special events team from the start - emails were answered within 24 hours, we were able to view the space a few times and went above and beyond for the day of. We previously had dined at Gran Morsi so we knew the food was excellent - they have an extensive menu to choose from as well as buffet, seated, family style. Our guests loved the food - they are still talking about it! The events team and day of staff were amazing - they were able to set our flowers and decor while we were rehearsing. They also were able to store gifts and welcome boxes for our guests. I really cannot thank them for how easy they made this experience.
