Stayed here with my mum for a last minute weekend away and was pleasantly surprised as we were not sure how it might be. We need not have worried - Really comfortable beds, slept so well and didn't want to get out of them. Lovely showers and bathrooms. Spacious and clean. Great cleaning and housekeeping staff - the hotel was immaculate. Incredible food selection at breakfast and dinner - STRONGLY recommend going half board. Such a choice, and such high quality dishes and flavours. Lovely swimming pools and sunbed area as well as being within falling distance to a small local beach and the sunset strip (mambo / cafe del mar etc) as well as walking distance to Cala Gracio, San Antonio marina, the main bus stop, and the promenade area. But not so near that it is noisy. The team and staff at the hotel are excellent, so friendly and helpful. We love that it is an independent, family run hotel and it shows with their attention to detail to everything. Would strongly recommend.

Room: I stayed in room 505, a single room with a partial sea view and a view over the car park. The double bed was spacious and very comfortable for one person. The wardrobe offered plenty of storage, and there was also a good-sized fridge. The bathroom was clean with a huge shower and even a window, which was a nice touch. I requested an iron and ironing board from reception and received them straight away — excellent service. Service: The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially the housekeeping team. Everyone always had a smile on their face, and the hotel was immaculate at all times. Food: I had breakfast included in my stay, and the food was very good with plenty of options to choose from each morning. Location: The location was excellent — less than a five-minute walk to the nearest supermarket, about ten minutes to Café Mambo, and there’s a petrol station just on the corner. The hotel also provides parking for guests at the back, though the car park was full most days. Overall: I would definitely recommend the Gran Sol Hotel. If I return to Ibiza, I would happily stay here again.

I found this hotel on Booking.com and was pleasantly surprised at the location, facilities and price, but I was a little worried there might be a catch. Fortunately I could not find one. The hotel is easy to find (especially if you arrive at night, with a giant illuminated sign on the roof!). Close to all the facilities of San Antonio as well as only a couple of minute walk to the coast and places like the Cafe del Mar.||The room was a good size and clean. The staff were friendly. The facilities too were good and as described, there was tea and coffee in the room.||The room rate I booked included breakfast but not an evening meal. However due to the weather (heavy rain and thunderstorms) I opted to also have dinner at the hotel. Again this is a very reasonable €18 extra. There was an excellent choice of food to choose from (buffet) for starter, main course and desert and staff were quick to come round and ask if you wanted drinks too. Food was good and topped up regularly. Similarly the breakfast choice was also plentiful and excellent (even two types of bacon), nothing I could fault.||I was a bit worried it might be noisy at night but this wasn't the case, it seemed to be in a peaceful location despite the fairly central location in San Antonio.||I believe there is also free parking though I didn't use it. I came on the bus and it is about 10 minutes walk from the bus station so not far (although I found the buses very unreliable, the service got completely suspended for a time when I was trying to get to the hotel so I would not recommend using the buses).||Overall I can't really think of anything to fault, it was good and I hope to return.

I first went to the Gran Sol 52 years ago. And I am still going back. I have just spent 11 days alongside a huge group of family and friends for my daughter’s wedding. Everyone agreed the Gran Sol is second to none. The rooms are a good size, comfortable and kept spotlessly clean. The bathrooms are also a decent size with fabulous showers and never a problem with hot water. The bar, pool, terrace and lounge areas are comfortable and the staff attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. The lunchtime menu and bar snacks are generous, tasty and very competitively priced. And the dining room offers breakfast and dinner buffets that equal many four and five star hotels I have stayed in. It was another fabulous stay. And it won’t be my last!

I had a lovely 4 night stay here with my daughter. It’s a little like stepping back in time as everyone is so nice and friendly. The breakfast is excellent with so much choice. Drinks and lunch are a great price which is good for Ibiza. Perfect location, 5 minutes walk to Mambos and Cafe Del Mar. Small beach on doorstep, but beautiful Cala Gració just a 15 minute stroll away. Very clean rooms and hotel. Bar staff were fantastic. See you soon

Everything is very good, nothing fancy but for what you pay for it that’s what you get and more. Clean, the room has everything you need, great wardrobe, good shower, big bed, nice mattress and enough pillows, spacious. The breakfast is very good, it has free parking. The most important though is how sweet and always with a smile are some people of the staff. Second day I had a problem with loud noise coming from the ac and they came immediately and fixed it.

This was the second visit to this hotel. The hotel is well maintained, spotlessly clean throughout. All staff are friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a good choice of menus in the restaurant and the quality of food is very good and well presented. An excellent stay between 4 - 11 October 2025, and have booked up for next year. Thank you for an excellent time to all staff.
