Gran Sol Hotel

This Hotel is lovely. Spotlessly clean, huge comfy bed and pillows. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Not a large pool but enough. Would stay there again. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of food. Didn't eat in the restaurant at night but guests said it was lovely. Drink prices at the bar were very reasonable Would certainly stay there again.

Hidden gem with outstanding service. This hotel is family run it shows. I can honestly say every single person I came across was extremely helpful and friendly. The attention to detail and service is better than some of the five star hotels I’ve stayed at. This is a traditional sixties or seventies building hotel but clearly much loved with large communal areas and a huge garden and pool area. Rooms are clean, comfortable and relatively big. Comfy beds and good air con. The breakfast was outstanding. I wish we had stayed longer and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. It’s brilliant value (pool snack/bar prices must be at cost it’s so cheap) but it’s actually just a nice, well cared for and well located hotel. Quite a mix of age groups including children. It’s nice to support local family run hotels like this, they really deserve people’s custom and I can imagine a very loyal clientele.

I have been coming to Hotel Gran Sol for 15 years, and I just love it. Its very clean, the rooms are spotless, new bathrooms last year, comfortable bed. The breakfasts are so lovely & varied and is something for everyone. The bar staff, receptionist, cleaners to the family owners are soo lovely & always friendly. The pool area is spacious plenty of beds & there is a lovely grass area where I like to sunbathe. I will be back next year like I am every year & I can't wait.

Could not fault this hotel in any way. |Location was great , quiet area but 50 seconds to the sea and 10 min into the centre.|Staff are helpful and friendly. |Food choice at breakfast and dinner are plentiful and tasty. |Bar prices are very reasonable as is the bar food.|The rooms have everything you need including good A/C safe and fridge.|This would be a 4 star hotel in other resorts imo.|We will be back, brilliant hotel.

Really well run, clean and welcoming hotel. All the staff were great. Breakfast had a wide selection. Bar and pool bar service excellent and value for money. Bedrooms comfortable with firm and good quality bed and linen. Bathrooms very smart and modern. Highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect environment to relax. Rooms beautifully clean, staff very friendly and efficient. Half board is the call, selection varied and beautifully prepared & presented. The pool/ bar area is very clean and the staff are very attentive.|Could not ask for more.|Look forward to going back ASAP

I really love this hotel and have been visiting here for 20 years, excellent quality rooms, great air conditioning, lovely bathrooms, free fridge and room safe, helpful and friendly staff in reception and in the restaurant. Excellent quality food and very well presented, probably the best Ive had in my trips here.||The only downside with this trip is the number of younger guests making a lot of noise until the early hours and slamming of doors. They really should stop having group bookings or put younger guests at a different part of the hotel. As a solo traveler I struggled to sleep, i could have complained to reception but it was difficult to pinpoint where the the noise in corridor was coming from ( I was in room 205). It's a real shame that a minority of noisy guests can spoil it for those you just want relaxing break so it is unlikely that I will return and probably go back to the Abrat hotel which was quieter.
