Gran Sol Hotel

This year was our sixth stay in 7 years at the Gran Sol and we will continue to return. The staff are very friendly, remembering us from previous year despite meeting hundreds of guests. The hotel is exceptionally clean and quiet. It is excellently run and highly recommended. It's a short walk to watch the sunset and is close to restaurants and bars, thought the food and drink in the hotel are also of high quality and good price. Rooms are good size with recently fitted good showers, tea making facilities and a fridge. We enjoyed the garden for sun bathing which is calm and spacious. The hotel is excellent value.

We had a great experience at hotel gran Sol. Very clean hotel. Lovely clean pool area with plenty of loungers. Lovely cocktails and food from bar area. We enjoyed the included buffet breakfast in the mornings. Bar / restaurant staff were lovely and always smiling. Air con in rooms worked very well. Rooms always cleaned and new towels / glasses given Daily. Big balcony

What a brilliant hotel, it takes all the boxes. The location is spot-on. The staff are exceptional. We arrived really early one morning and even though one of our rooms was ready, they still gave us a token for breakfast even though we hadn’t paid for it. The rooms are exceptionally clean and there was a good selection of food to choose from a breakfast. I will definitely be back, thank you.

Must start by saying I'm not the one to write a review but I'm here now and this hotel deserves one. Staff can't do enough for you and always with a smile nothing is never too much that's from cleaners to the bar staff the dinner/breakfast staff and the staff at the check in desk. Hotel is immaculate and food is amazing. Drinks and food are excellently priced. Ideal location. Can't recommend this hotel enough. If I had any complaints it would be to the person who said this hotel was a 3 star.haha 100% we will return to this hotel in future.

This is the second year running that my wife and I have stayed at Hotel Gran Sol, and once again, it did not disappoint.||From the moment we arrived at check-in, I was greeted by a familiar face and instantly made to feel welcome. Although we arrived slightly earlier than expected, the team went out of their way to accommodate us, which we truly appreciated.||I would also like to highlight one particular gentleman who works at the snack bar. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get his name, but I still wanted to give him special praise. His professionalism is second to none—no matter how busy it got, he greeted everyone with the same genuine smile and positive energy every single time. It was a pleasure to watch him consistently deliver such excellent service.||In fact, this energy and warmth isn’t just limited to him—it runs throughout the entire hotel team. There’s an honesty and authenticity about the staff and the hotel itself that keeps drawing us back.||Overall, Hotel Gran Sol continues to impress us, and we look forward to returning again.

I have been coming to Hotel Gran Sol for 15 years, and I just love it. Its very clean, the rooms are spotless, new bathrooms last year, comfortable bed. The breakfasts are so lovely & varied and is something for everyone. The bar staff, receptionist, cleaners to the family owners are soo lovely & always friendly. The pool area is spacious plenty of beds & there is a lovely grass area where I like to sunbathe. I will be back next year like I am every year & I can't wait.

Just back from another stay at the Hotel Gran Sol, I have been coming back to this hotel for past 15 years. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are lovely they had new bathrooms fitted last year, powerful showers, beds comfortable. The breakfasts are very very good & lots of choice for everyone. The pool area has plenty of beds & the spacious garden area is my favourite for sunbathing. The receptionist, bar staff, cleaners and the family owners are sooo lovely & friendly. We will be back as always next year and can't wait.

Love the Gran Sol. Stayed here several times and it's always great. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Shower is good. Beds are are comfortable. Pool has the sun all day. Bar is ideal and food is good. Like the location as it's out the way and close to the beach and still walking distance to bars and restaurants around San Antonio. And means you get a mixed crowd, all of which have always been respectful of the hotel and do their own thing. Staff are helpful aswell
