Nestled on the harbor, this charming, fully-equipped Colonial guesthouse offers cozy rooms, lush gardens, and a stunning pool for a perfect Bermuda getaway.
Granaway is a wonderful place to stay. Granaway provides a beautiful location where you could absorb the gardens and flowers as well as enjoy the warm water in the pool. Our stay in the Granaway Cottage provided all the comforts and amenities as we have at our home. Francisco cooked and served English style breakfasts on the patio table each morning. It was just a nice touch to the start of every day. Keep in mind, Francisco's muffins are second to none!
One of the attributes of Granaway is it's 8 minute walk to the ferry. From there, a 15 minute ride takes you to the heart of Hamilton, its shops and restaurants, and from there an easy walk to the bus terminal grants you access to the entire island.
Granaway's owners went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and provide excellent advice and recommendations. This is one place that we plan on returning to.

Such a lovely stay in this beautiful place. The garden and pool area are stunning - we could have swam all day there looking at all the amazing plants in this tropical paradise. Really nice location just by the water with its own private pier. The team are very friendly and helpful too.

Granaway Bed and Breakfast is truly a romantic Getaway. Carol and Michael are gracious host, Francesco, their right hand man is always there when you need him. A great breakfast served at your private outdoor table complete with bone China and sterling silver tea and coffee pots. A beautiful secluded pool with a beautiful garden. A wonderful view of Granaway Bay and The city of Hamilton. The home was built in the 1700s by a retired English sea captain and has stood the test of time. |Thank you Carol and Michael for a wonderful start to our wedding anniversary,|Dan and Theresa

My husband and I just spent an idyllic week at Granaway B&B in Warwick Parish, Bermuda. An 300 yr old property with all the charm of an historic home with modern conveniences, gorgeous grounds and pool, located on the harbor. Water views from every room. All creature comforts. Very conveniently/centrally located. Hosts Carol and Michael in the business for over 4 decades have hospitality down to proper English china and endless good guidance/knowledge of the island paradise. We will definitely be back, and if we could have taken Francisco home with us we would have!

My wife and I recently celebrated a joint birthday getaway at Granaway Guest House, Warwick, Bermuda. It was all we hoped for -to be welcomed into an authentic 18th century Bermudian manorhouse. Granaway's central location about midway across Bermuda makes it a good base for exploring the islands. The breakfasts are a social event with (interesting) fellow guests sharing stories, personal Bermuda tips and planning the day's adventures with hosts Michael and Carol. Michael was even kind enough to run us over to the fabulous beaches at Warwick's Southshore Park, but these can be reached under 10 minutes away by taxi. The Belmont Ferry to Hamilton and connections beyond is about a ten minute walk. The nearest restaurants/bar are located across a golfcourse that can be accessed though a gate in the house's garden. Yes the private waterfront terrace and landing is across a somewhat busy road (remember look right first!) but that's pretty close for a private dip and snorkel, and the swimming pool is set in the home's lovely gardens. Other reviewers have commented that the rooms are somewhat 'dated' -well the house was built in the 1740's and it is a home not a hotel, so travelers desiring a 'Crate & Barrel' experience probably should book elewhere. We were completely happy with our 'Royal Room' -eccentricly decorated with Carol's collection of House Of Windsor memoribilia. It had all the character, charm and ambiance we could ask for -and a small private terrace overlooking Hamilton Harbour and the Great Sound. Michael and Carol can be slow to communicate prior to arrival, but if you want a real Bermuda stay with warm, caring hosts, Granaway is it. We will be back!

We visited the Granaway Cottage for 5 nights in July 2019. We had the best time. The cottage was great. You can sit outside on the Patio and overlook the great bay. Also has a huge swimming pool just beautiful with great beautiful flowers and a full garden. Carol and Michael are the very best host. So easy to talk to and they gave us great info of the Island when we first arrived. Then there is Francisco, who will cook you breakfast everyday. There is another beautiful view of the great bay while you are enjoying your breakfast with other guest. Francisco will also tidy up your room while you are out. He will also give you a ride to the beach. You can also take the ferry or the bus to the other attractions on the Island. It is truly a paradise. We loved it so much we can’t wait to get back.

If you are looking for a true Bermuda experience staycation or vacation look no further than The Granaway. Don’t get me wrong – our family loves hotels, but wanted something special and The Granaway in Warwick Bermuda delivered. ||||Carol, her husband Michael and their caretaker Francisco have the true Bermudian spirit of friendliness and hospitality. They are warm, inviting and went out of their way to make us feel not like guests but family. The Granaway is a traditional Bermuda estate from the 1700s and delightfully quirky. The hosts live above the guest rooms (all with en-suite bathrooms, all with harbor views), and the cottage we stayed in is located next to the main house. ||||The guest cottage has a full kitchen, queen bed and Francisco put in a rollaway bed for our son. There is a full bath – it does have a step-up into the bathroom (and step down into the cottage) so may not be ideal for those in wheelchairs. The cottage has a private garden with loungers and a table that is the perfect place to watch the sunset or have breakfast. The continental breakfasts were divine – served on china with little pots and tins of marmalades, jams, and fresh fruits, eggs, fresh-baked muffins and toast. Juices, tea and coffee – oh, the coffee was wonderful. This is not your standard “continental” breakfast – far beyond our expectations. ||||The Granaway property is divided into all sorts of nooks and crannies, with gardens full of hand-made mosaics, local flowers, banana trees – it’s wildly cultivated and so, so relaxing. There are also tucked away seating areas perfect for lazy afternoons of tea and reading, and a private dock right on Hamilton Harbor for easy boat access or swimming. By far our favorite area was the pool. It is just beautiful, has stairs for easy access and has a soothing fountain surrounded by stone walls, palm trees and flowering plants – a tropical oasis. There are grills tucked away behind it and the cottage that guests can use; my son spent hours swimming and playing every day. ||||For dining options The Granaway is located literally on the 17th hole at Belmont Golf Course which has Divots (casual dining), and Blu (fancy seafood) restaurants a 10 minute walk away. Aurora is at Newstead-Belmont hotel (different property than Belmont Golf Course) – a 5 minute cab ride away. There are grocery stores and delivery options as well within a few minutes drive and the Belmont ferry which takes you directly to Hamilton (5 minute walk on Harbour Road).||||This wonderful staycation cost half the going rate of the cheapest room of a hotel this weekend – hotels that don’t include breakfast and the experience of living in one of the oldest homes in Bermuda. Carol, Michael and Francisco personify hospitality and the Bermuda spirit. Cannot more highly recommend, and cannot wait to come back!

My husband and I rented the cottage for 10 nights in July 2019. The cottage is a little run down, but we believe we got what we paid for.||The breakfasts were the best! Francisco was an amazing host, cooking and serving breakfast each morning at 9am. The coffee was delicious, and the fresh fruit salad, homemade muffins and eggs a treat.||It was very relaxing to sit by the pool. I was almost always alone, and the beautiful flowers just added to charm.||I didn't realize before I booked the trip how small and expensive Bermuda was. 5 nights is more that enough.||Elbow beach and the coves to the left of Horseshoe bay are the nicest.|| Rent a scooter, because I heard from other guests how unreliable the buses are.||Carol and Michael are nice hosts. You can tell they have been doing this for many years. They are beyond fortunate to have someone as nice as Francisco working so hard for them.
