Grand Ascot Hotel

I stayed at the Grand Ascot Hotel with my partner for 4 nights (29/8 - 2/9). On arrival, we were welcomed by a lovely friendly gentleman and the check-in process was very quick. We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the street above the main entrance. The room was absolutely beautiful - most comfortable bed, great lighting, lots of storage space, free safe, tea/coffee, water bottle (which can be re-filled on the corridor outside with either still or sparkling water), fabulous bathroom with rainfall shower and toiletries etc. The room and, in fact, the Hotel throughout was so chilled and quiet. Breakfast was very good and there is something for everyone. The Bar was beautiful and you could sit inside or on the terrace outside. The Hotel is spotless throughout and the Cleaning staff do a fantastic job without being intrusive. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, but I thought the Restaurant staff could have been a bit more pleasant. The Hotel is in a fab location, just a 10 minute walk to the Main Square. If I return to Krakow, I would definitely stay here again and I will be recommending to my friends/family, should they be visiting Krakow. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your beautiful Hotel ❤️

Stayed in this centrally located hotel for 4 nights in Krakow and had a wonderful stay. The lobby is modern and welcoming. All the staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms are smart and spotless. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. We booked with a jet 2 city break and I communicated with the hotel before we arrived and they were most helpful them too. I’d really recommend this hotel

I booked a stay (August 19-26, 2025) at the Grand Ascot Hotel. I was in town for a conference. I enjoyed my stay so much. The room was well-arranged and quiet. The breakfasts were delicious. The Reception Desk was so pleasant and they helped me with so many things that I needed to do for my conference. I do not speak any Polish and I felt welcomed, comfortable, and understood by the reception. I am really really grateful to Ms. Bałłon for helping me with my pronunciation of Polish names! Also, Szymon at the reception desk recommended a delicious restaurant near the hotel. Ms. Bałłon ordered an Airport pick-up and a return transport to the airport as well, making everything very convenient. My room was directly across the Water Dispenser (still and sparkling!) and a children's play area with small toys and small furniture (play kitchen). What a thoughtful addition! This makes the Grand Ascot hotel ideal for families with small children--very family friendly. There was a box of WAWAL chocolates awaiting us, which we greatly enjoyed. There is a hot water kettle in the room with tea and coffee. Everything was so very clean and quiet. We stayed in a room on the first floor (118) which overlooked a very quiet courtyard. The beds and linens were so comfortable. I slept peacefully every night. The shower was hot and refreshing. The interior of the room is updated and comfortable. The housekeeping were so unobtrusive and thoughtful. I loved staying here and seeing beautiful Krakow! It was a 7-minute walk to the main square! I am so grateful for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely fabulous stay. The hotel is immaculately clean, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are just the right size, the bed is really comfortable.||Particularly liked that when I arrived I had a “birthday badge” on and when we got back to our room later there was a happy birthday note and a box of sweets. A very nice gesture.||The hotel is a short walk from the main square where there are lots of bars and restaurants.||We only ate breakfast at the hotel, but there was plenty of choice and the quality was excellent. ||I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Quick check-in. The hotel and our rooms were clean and everything was in order. The mattress was a bit soft. Fast internet, and there was cold water and soda available in the hallway. The street is quiet with little traffic. Since it's a smaller hotel, there were no lines at the elevator or at breakfast. Breakfast was great, and we could sit both indoors and outside. The courtyard was well-kept, and we were surrounded by greenery despite being in the city. We used Uber to get around, but the city center is within walking distance. There are many restaurants and cafés nearby, and even a pharmacy just two minutes away. The staff was always helpful and answered all our questions. I would especially like to highlight the kindness of the bartender, but we were happy with everyone! I can’t say anything negative—we left satisfied and we’ll definitely return!

Wonderful hotel and staff. The service was amazing and it made our break very enjoyable.|A water dispenser on every floor providing a constant flow of sparkling or still water is a good bonus.|Easy to use air conditioning/heating system. Good working fridge in our room.|Beds were very comfortable and the room was impeccably clean.|Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice. From fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast, croissants meats etc.|The hotel is within easy walking distance to the square but is in a quiet spot out of the hustle and bustle of the city.|The excursions booked through Trip Advisor pick up within a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel through the square.|If I return, I would definitely book this hotel.

One of the loveliest hotels we have stayed in, large rooms, amazing shower ,spotless and quiet. Great location near the old square , breakfast was plentiful and delicious will recommend to our friends who want to come to Krakow

Just back from a 4 night stay at this hotel and found it faultless. Clean, modern, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, ideally situated for visiting the old town of Kracow.| The staff in all departments do a brilliant job, from the reception desk, restaurant staff and room attendants. Always with a smile on their face, it added to a lovely stay.| Special thanks to the reception staff who tried to book us a trip to Auchwitz. My own fault but I thought it would be easy to book while there. Anyone looking to visit, my advice would be to book well in advance as there are limited spaces on this trip.| Excellent choice at breakfast covering everyone’s dietary requirements, super comfy bed with pillow menu if required, air con, lovely walk in shower with heated floors in the bathroom.| Loved our stay here and would highly recommend.|| Nick and Jan

This hotel is amazinggggggg. The breakfast is goooooooood. The location is greattttttttttt. The rooms were cleeeeeeeeeean. The staff were wonderfullllllllll.
