Grand Ascot Hotel w centrum Krakowa

Did my Tripadvisor homework before booking !|On entering hotel , completed form at check -in. I wouldn’t say the Reception staff were friendly ( we were not informed about water, heated floor, sauna) . There was no - “ did you enjoy your stay “ when we left, we just handed card in and checked out. When we asked about sauna- “ what time do you want sauna for?” |Room was 109 not far to go and was two single beds zipped together and single bed in corner , making the room quite big.|Tea and coffee tray wasn’t that well stocked but we did take tea from breakfast to use. |Water dispenser with steel bottle was just brilliant! |We found the dial for the heated floor and it was the highlight of our day to come back to that. Shower was amazing , waterfall shower top notch. The room was so clean , many thanks to the cleaner. What an excellent job you do!|Breakfast was quite good although fried eggs were dry and hard by 8am, cereals - good choice, waffles were cold, fruit and jam selection really good, bread selection good too. Husband did not like the sausages or bacon ( he is picky).|There were menus to order other food like omelettes but why would you , if already paid for breakfast?|I could not see any gluten free products and did not want to ask- no separate toaster so just knew it would be a no.|We enquired about the sauna and were asked what time we wanted . It was all on when we booked it and we used the robes and towels. It was so good, highly recommend. |The hotel is situated about a 10 minute walk to main square and about 20 minutes to Wawel castle. We used Bolt to get to the salt mines and back to airport. We were ripped off at the airport 129 zl ( normal taxi) and with Bolt 54zl on return to airport!!! |We would definitely return to this hotel for its location and cleanliness.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The decor is spot-on, the location is unbeatable, and the bed… honest to God, it might be the most comfortable thing I’ve ever slept on — like lying on a cloud. Zuzanna was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we even got a box of chocolates on arrival — classy touch. We arrived much earlier than our check-in time and fully expected to drop our bags and come back later, but the room was already ready and we were checked in straight away with no extra charge. Perfect start. Breakfast had loads of variety, everything fresh and well presented, and the overall ambience was brilliant. Cocktails were great, the bar prices were fair, and having a fitness room and sauna was a real bonus. It’s less than a 10-minute walk to the Old Town and right beside the tram lines, super easy to get around. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was stunning, and the little goody bag for early tours was a lovely touch. Most definitely will return when we’re back in Krakow — I genuinely don’t think we could find better value for money.

Loved this hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was ready at 10am the day we arrived. Rooms are large and well maintained. Great location, 10 mins to the square and some decent food/drink options just outside. We didn't eat at the hotel, used the bar a few times. Quite small but friendly staff and a good way to end a day. We'd definitely stay here again.

We were delighted with this hotel, it’s within the old town and short walk to the square.|Our room was excellent- spacious and modern. We wanted to take the bathroom home! Plenty of storage, huge bed and complementary safe. It was spotlessly clean. |Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from. It was constantly refreshed. |Staff were helpful and friendly.|Would highly recommend, worth the little extra.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms are amazing and so spacious. The decor is modern and the rooms are so quiet, even though the hotel looked busy. Breakfast has plenty of choice and good quality. The staff were really helpful with whatever we asked. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Krakow.

We visited Krakow during the Christmas markets & stayed at this hotel. We were 3 siblings & we got a family suite. This room has a double bed in 1 large room and 2 single beds in a separate room just off the double room. We found this great for our party. |We found the staff friendly & knowledgeable & pointed us to great restaurants & tourist sites. |The markets in the main square were less than 10 mins walk away. |Breakfast in the hotel was very good. The hotel bar was comfortable. The water dispensers on each floor was a nice touch. |I really could not fault this hotel in anyway.

Amazing hotel, clean and lovely so close to everything, central location and only 10 mins away from the market square. We traveled with a baby and the hotel is very much baby friendly. Sauna was great! Rooms were exceptionally clean, housekeeping was every day making beds and cloning bathroom , can’t fault them. Reception staff was lovely extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was so delicious lovely selection of nice warm food. I’m only knocking one star of my review due to one of the breakfast staff ladies whose name was Anastasia (name tag). On the last day of our stay she came to inform us in a not very nice way, that we needed to leave the restaurant in five minutes because the breakfast was finishing at 10:30 and the restaurant was closing down, despite me feeding my nine month old baby on a high chair at that time. I think she should have been a little bit more polite or understanding. I felt rushed and pressured as she kept looking at us, altogether with the other staff. The previous mornings people were arriving at 10:30 am for breakfast and nobody was saying anything to them at all. That morning when we arrived there were dirty tables everywhere we cleaned a table for ourselves and we pulled the high chair for the baby as there were no staff to help at all. We never complained or said anything, I genuinely felt very disappointed and rushed to leave the restaurant. Anybody who has kids would understand clearly she was just wanting to get rid of us. When you work at hospitality sector you cannot be rude. Everything else was wonderful, the receptionists were amazing with calling us taxis and recommendations. Would definitely visit again.

After doing a lot of research with regards to hotels, I switched my original choice of hotel to this one after looking at the great reviews. Best decision!||Lovely, clean, modern hotel. Friendly staff. I emailed prior to ask if they could book a trip for us, which they did with Krakow Direct. Just before arriving, I asked for a Twin Room as staying with my adult son, which they confirmed they had booked. Very efficient. ||The hotel is so quiet, great sound-proofing, comfortable beds, lovely shower. Breakfast, lots of choice. ||I couldnt fault this hotel and I am aiming to come back (for Christmas Markets nxt yr) and will bring rest of my family and will stay here. ||Fabulous Hotel, Krakow is lovely, lots to do.

This hotel is amazinggggggg. The breakfast is goooooooood. The location is greattttttttttt. The rooms were cleeeeeeeeeean. The staff were wonderfullllllllll.
