The first thing I noticed is that this hotel is designed very white. White walls and rooms. There’s also a strong smell of chemicals (most likely from all the cleaning). We stayed there for 3 days and two nights. Had a nice view of the beach from our room. They charge a $100 deposit for each night. BE AWARE of the ADDITIONAL $66 resort fees that are automatically taken for each day. They have one restaurant and a little cafe downstairs but it’s way overpriced for the quality of the food. However, it was nice that we were right by the beach and had access to the chairs and beach umbrellas. There just weren’t a lot of shopping centers or entertainment/restaurants in the surrounding area.

It was just ok. Not as described or depicted on line. It is not luxury by any means. The property common areas are nice & appear clean, but the rooms are just ok. Does not align with the fees & charges. It's a 2-3 star hotel at best. The first two rooms were filthy, stains & hair all over the pillowcases & sheets, bathroom showers, counters, sinks & toilets were not clean, floors were not vacuumed or cleaned. Rather than apologizing & offering an upgrade, the guy at the counter said r"if you are going to keep complaining you should just go find another hotel" When I showed the pictures he got the manager who was apologetic & called housekeeping to find us a clean room. Not much to ask at over $500/night. It was hours before we were checked in & we had been traveling since 4am. It was my daughter's bday. There was nothing within walking distance & our neither tv worked so we were bored most of the time & took expensive Ubers everywhere so if you are looking to not leave the hotel, this would be an ok option. There is a pool & it's on the beach but they close early. You do get beach chairs which is the only amenity you are getting with the resort fee but they are picked up at 5:30pm daily, which is lame & there was so much seaweed we wouldn't go in the water. We heard every noise from our neighbors. Parts of the hotel were nice, like the 7th floor pool & the main lobby. But the hotel and the food/drinks are way overpriced. The pink touches were cute & girly which is what drew my daughter in, but I would not stay here again & cannot really recommend based on our overpriced mediocre at best experience. The housekeeping needs to do a much better job, they are calling it in which is gross. And the guy at check in needs a better attitude. We asked for towels 4x over 2 days before we got them. It's the little things that make all the difference & they fell short of that as well. Way better places to stay!

Rooms here are excellent and very clean. Service was generally very good albeit some staff weren’t as friendly as you may find at more upscale establishments. The location is 3 stars as it’s in mid beach, not south so it’s not super close to anything other than Fontainebleau, which has several restaurants. You basically have to uber or drive to get anywhere fun in the city. If you stay, get an oceanfront or ocean view room, the views are stunning. Oceanfront literally means your balcony faces the ocean, ocean view generally means that your balcony will be on the sides of the building (still with a “view” but not facing the ocean directly). In some cases, you will also get a bay view, which is also nice. Including photos of both.

I recently treated my daughter to a graduation gift by taking her to Miami Beach, and I chose this hotel for our stay. From the moment we arrived, the attention we received was outstanding. The location is perfect, and the housekeeping service was excellent. As someone who works in the hotel industry and trains operation managers, I've seen many types of hotels, and I can confidently say this one stands out as the best. A special mention goes to Maria Salas, who provided exceptional customer service, alongside the entire housekeeping team, who were all fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Miami. It truly deserves an A+ for its remarkable service! Giulianni Brea

No automatic doors to enter hotel with all your luggage and only rare occasion for someone to help open the door. Constantly watched by security to a gray wrist band on, even when inside at the bar or cafe. To remove band, you have to break it off and keep asking front for new arm band, and they do not enjoy reissuing them, it shows. However, the staff are nice, the air is cold, no issues with our room or bed. Cleaning staff did great to replenish room towels and soap daily. The pool areas are nice with umbrella lounge chairs all around and quick access to beach. Pool closes early 6 pm. Bar offers cocktails, be prepared to pay! ($45 for two cocktails, $15 for two cans of coke) By the way, no bed bugs we found as concerned we were when seeing prior reviews. One last thing, it would help them if enough staff can be at front desk when check out/busy times, most times were lines with one person to help. Overall, good experience, I just think they could do better in some areas. Also, could be helpful if when checking out, guests are asked if they enjoyed the stay….anything to improve on…etc… Usually this is my expectation when staying at other hotels.

I had one of the best experiences here! The customer service outside of the room is what will bring me back! The bartender JOEL provided top notch service. We talked, laughed, and I didn’t want to go anywhere else for drinks . Then there was BASIL, he was so friendly, funny, accommodating, and gave us the best time. The whole staff was amazing and that is what you want when you are on vacation!! I told all my ppl, no other hotel I have ever stayed at has made me feel so special!!! Not onky was it so pink and beautiful the staff is amazing!! I will be back time and time again!!

Enjoyed our stay at the Grand Beach Hotel. When we first got to our room, the linens weren’t clean, but the staff handled it right away. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel had a relaxing, inviting atmosphere throughout. The location was great with easy access to everything, and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again.

Be wary of the reviews for this property — many appear to be fabricated. My experience was the complete opposite of what the glowing online comments describe. This place is a money pit. The rooms are cheaply constructed, the maintenance is substandard, and the service is indifferent at best. It’s drastically overpriced for the lackluster basics you receive. This was my second (and final) stay. Our first room had two bathrooms, yet neither had running water in the showers. After several assurances from the front desk that the issue had been resolved, we returned to find nothing had changed. The staff showed no sense of urgency or responsibility. Exposed electrical outlets, sloppy paint jobs, and an overall feeling of neglect define this property. Guests deserve better for the rates being charged. I strongly advise looking elsewhere — this facility is dysfunctional, disorganized, and deeply disappointing.
