Grand Beach Hotel

I stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel as I was attending a meeting. I arrived late on a Friday night. The restaurant was closing in about 15 minutes but I was able to place an order to take to my room. ||My had a little view of the beach. The bed was comfortable. Even though I was alone, it was a very nice room with 2 baths. The staff was very attentive for our meeting. The food service was very good for breakfast, lunch and snacks. I would definitely return.

We loved this hotel! We stayed in a king bay front suite with balcony and loved it! The rooms are spacious, clean, and had an amazing city, bay side view. The lobby areas are beautiful. It had a lobby bar, then coffee and ice cream shop that was great. We also had a delicious breakfast at the restaurant twice. The pool area is charming with all of the palm trees and one of the pools is heated nicely. The beach area was my fave. Lots of chairs and white sand. The water is chilly (1/26) but the sandbar that is there is worth getting in! The only negative is the slow elevators!

I have never had a worse stay in my life. There was hair all over the shower when I arrived. I asked them to clean very nicely and just used the second shower. They said THREE TIMES that it had been cleaned when it clearly had not because the same hair was all over the tub. Finally, after the fourth time they cleaned only because I insisted they send someone up right away so I could show them. Then, I tried to be compensated and they said no one could help at the property when I checked out. I then sent THREE emails without anyone responding to me. I called the hotel and finally got through to someone who then had the audacity to tell me not to be frustrated because they already were working on it yet no one called or emailed me to tell me. So they just expected me to think they were handling my situation with zero communication. The staff does not care about cleanliness or repeat guests for that matter (I stayed here 4 times total). DO NOT STAY HERE! STAFF IS RUDE AND ROOMS ARE DIRTY!!!!

This hotel has a lot of opportunities to improve. On face value, super cute: The rooms, pool, coffee bar and restaurant. The location just across the walk way to the beach great. But here are the issues: The rooms are not insulated from the hallway noise. On a weekend expect the noice to come from other night owl guest until the early morning. The cleaning service. Don't expect the floors to be vacuumed even if you call and ask they come back. Also, the proper amount of towels was off even after a request to bring more. 4 wash clothes and two hand towels was interrupted to 8 bath towels.... The elevators- incredible slow, one out of four was out of service all weekend and heard from more than one other guests reported people had been stuck in one. Lastly, the restaurant. The food was just ok. For the price it should have been "really good". As I started off. This place has so much potential and so cute to look at but needs some quality management and ownership that cares in the customer experience not just good photos on their website. Easy fixes!!! Get to work. Would love to stay again after it improves.

I stayed at the Miami Beach Hotel for Art Basel and had a genuinely pleasant experience, thanks largely to the exceptional team. Everyone was incredibly nice and accommodating throughout my stay. I want to highlight Claudia Coella, who welcomed me late at night with extraordinary friendliness and patience. She went out of her way to help me locate something, and she did so with such kindness that it stood out. I would also like to mention Jesus, who helped me with my luggage in a very sweet and natural way. The breakfast team also deserves a compliment — their gentle friendliness each morning was soothing after long days at the fair. There is, however, room for improvement regarding food and beverage options. The breakfast menu could offer healthier choices; there were no vegetables or legumes available. Additionally, charging $9 for a bottle of water feels out of line with what top hotels typically offer — many provide water complimentary, and the current pricing gives an impression of over-commercialization on basic amenities. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and look forward to returning to Miami. With a few adjustments to the food and beverage offering, this hotel could truly shine.

Number of reasons for the poor review: - WiFi is really bad - I was unable to stream at 1080p, and remote desktop for work was incredibly choppy. Thankfully I didn't have any zoom calls but I could only imagine those would be pretty untenable. - Shower is at best warm, I was comfortable under the shower at full heat, and I run things cooler than most. - Water strength was poor as well. - As other reviewers have mentioned, the toilet was finicky. The handle was loose and didn't always flush properly, thankfully I had a second toilet in my room. - No complimentary water was offered, besides an overpriced water bottle from the minbar. - No room service after midnight (not sure if this is normal or not). Note also that this is a family hotel, with lots of kids. Which I personally didn't mind and this didn't influence my review, but putting it here in case that's important info for some.

It was just ok. Not as described or depicted on line. It is not luxury by any means. The property common areas are nice & appear clean, but the rooms are just ok. Does not align with the fees & charges. It's a 2-3 star hotel at best. The first two rooms were filthy, stains & hair all over the pillowcases & sheets, bathroom showers, counters, sinks & toilets were not clean, floors were not vacuumed or cleaned. Rather than apologizing & offering an upgrade, the guy at the counter said r"if you are going to keep complaining you should just go find another hotel" When I showed the pictures he got the manager who was apologetic & called housekeeping to find us a clean room. Not much to ask at over $500/night. It was hours before we were checked in & we had been traveling since 4am. It was my daughter's bday. There was nothing within walking distance & our neither tv worked so we were bored most of the time & took expensive Ubers everywhere so if you are looking to not leave the hotel, this would be an ok option. There is a pool & it's on the beach but they close early. You do get beach chairs which is the only amenity you are getting with the resort fee but they are picked up at 5:30pm daily, which is lame & there was so much seaweed we wouldn't go in the water. We heard every noise from our neighbors. Parts of the hotel were nice, like the 7th floor pool & the main lobby. But the hotel and the food/drinks are way overpriced. The pink touches were cute & girly which is what drew my daughter in, but I would not stay here again & cannot really recommend based on our overpriced mediocre at best experience. The housekeeping needs to do a much better job, they are calling it in which is gross. And the guy at check in needs a better attitude. We asked for towels 4x over 2 days before we got them. It's the little things that make all the difference & they fell short of that as well. Way better places to stay!

It’s right on the beach path and the servers were very friendly and helpful.|Now for the negative. The showers are very outdated and one just didn’t drain at all. The door to one of the balconies was broken and didn’t open or close. The elevators are a disaster. I got stuck in the same one twice. When the elevators did work, they stopped on almost every floor - making a trip to the 17th floor last about five minutes.|I paid for late check out (4 pm). Since I believed I had late checkout, on the day of my departure, I went into town and returned around 12:30. During that time, the front desk staff apparently decided that I no longer had late check out. The front desk called my room and informed me that I’d have to check out immediately because they had overbooked for the day of my departure. I was annoyed but said that was fine and I’d just need twenty minutes to pack. I am a lawyer and a rule follower so I sincerely was fine to just speed things up, pack, and check out earlier than I had planned.|Over the next twenty minutes, the front desk incessantly called my room and screamed at me to hurry up. It was harassing and bizarre. The cleaning staff then began banging down my door and eventually barged in to my (locked) room while I was changing into my clothes for the airport. I had to beg them to leave so I could get into my clothes - all while the phone rang with more calls from the front desk. I have never had a similar experience and hope that I and others never do in the future.

I can't believe the terrible ratings! We came for a weekend from New York with no expectations. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to return. Yes, it was a little pricey, and I had to pay a little extra checking in because the room wasn't ready, but an upgraded room was ready. It was totally worth it. The view was amazing! The food was delicious, but a little pricey. It was not too crowded. It was easy to get a spot at one of the pools and on the beach most days. We found the staff very friendly. The rooms were clean and bright. The bathroom was not terribly updated, but we really had no issues. The bed was amazinggggg! It was an amazing stay!

Joy, this is what this hotel brought for a whole weekend. Pulled in and valet. It was perfect your allowed in and out access with no additional fee. Check in is easy and there's a bell guy to help with luggage. The entrance is beautiful with a million bulbs over the bar. They have the cutest ice cream shop that also serves sandwi he's, parfaits, croissants, empanadas, and more. There's a cute shop for all your essentials or a cute summer outfit. Let's not forget the Chez Gaston restaurant too. Be sure to try the poke..its delish. Now the rooms are so spacious, love the decor and comfy beds. We had a view of the bay and sunsets. There's ice machines on every floor, your fridge comes stocked with some treats along with the bar and bathroom toiletries all for purchase. There are 2 pools, the adult rooftop pool and the ground floor pool for all hotel guests. Your stay comes with seats and an umbrella on the beach and you can order food and drinks while relaxing. Now the only cons I found were the rooftop pool bar was never open each time we went and there is no shaelde or music. The ground pool has a bar but closes at 6pm BUT there is no music, no deejay and I think if they did add music this hotel would be 5 star...hint hint guys..get to the music. Other than that we had a fabulous time and enjoyed all the amenities they offered.

Day Pass review! Purchased a $75 weekend day pass to grand beach hotel and it did not disappoint! First of all, what hotel in Miami Beach includes the comfy beach chairs and umbrella for under $100?! It was not just a pool pass but full access to all their amenities! I was expecting it to be overcrowded with a sold out day pass but to my pleasant surprise, it was not.. I was set up front row, with stunning view of Miami Beach with sparkling crystal clear blue water and white sand! The service at the beach was initially great although they fell off a bit later as the day went on and weren't checking in as much. I had a piña colada and shrimp mango salad for lunch- both tasteful! The brief menu had well rounded options for drinks and lunch. The hotel offers two pools and 2 hot tubs downstairs and adults only rooftop pool and hot tub. Both pools have bars and plenty of options for seating with breath taking views of the intracoastal and the ocean. Nestled under the palms, you can also find a shady break on the hammocks. After enjoying the sun all day, be sure to stop by and grab ice cream at the ice cream shop! There was also bars/restaurants inside. The valet is discounted for $12. Overall, wonderful experience and look forward to returning!

Please take us back to Grand Beach Hotel! I had the pleasure to enjoy a dreamy weekend escape at the Grand Hotel Beach with my wife and friends. Was offered a different room on a floor where mostly construction was going on. Eventually they offered to waive all the resort fees and a free late checkout instead of a restaurant credit and at least one free night. No for these guys no take backs. I understand the "manager" who's responding to these social media posts is just doing her job and offering damage control but words are empty. If there's nothing to back them up don't bother saying anything. Had I been a little more thorough with my due diligence I wouldn't have been writing these reviews because I would never have picked this hotel. Oh well there goes a few grand down the drain.

We stayed here during our visit to Miami. We arrived way before the check-in time (4pm) but we were able to drop off our bags and explore the area. This hotel is located in South Beach steps away from the beach where they also have beach chairs out for use. Our room was the bay suite with a king bed. It had two bathrooms which was rare and very nice. The views were great on our balcony with Biscayne Bay on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Other amenities included a gym, two pools with a pool bar, another adults-only pool on the 7th floor, a hotel bar in the lobby, a station for coffee, pastries, and dessert, and a small shop. Unfortunately there's no complimentary breakfast but there's a restaurant on the lobby floor that serves breakfast. It was a nice hotel aesthetically but the finishes were a little old and not great in some parts of the hotel room. The hotel was in a nice location as it was conveniently located near South Beach and downtown Miami.

The aesthetics of the hotel are super cute and great for pictures, and their location on the beach is ideal - that's about all that is nice here. The icecream/cafe shop inside the hotel closed early without notice (before 7 as is stated), and they overcharge for everything there. No one working there knows the price of anything; we were told ice cream at the restaurant would be cheaper than buying it at the shop, but it wasn't . The restaurant also tried to charge us for plastic utensils because "they don't get enough business so they need to start charging for stuff"- per one staff member. Another thing, the chlorine they use in the pools and hot tubs is an excessive amount, so much so that it left me and my friends with a skin rash and damaged hair so beware!.

Beautiful hotel! I think the 1-star reviews were harsh and had nothing to do with the actual hotel/rooms/dining/amenities/experience. We celebrated our anniversary here . Chez Gaston restaurant was delicious but pricey. But it was definitely worth it. Great beach and pool area .

Location & location is what you pay for. Service is awarded to the front office supervisor Kristina/ the adults only pool bartender. We arrived at 1am to check in for a reservation 2/13-2/17 arriving 1am on 2/14. Plenty of time to have our room up to par. Upon arrival to our room at 1am: left over food from previous guest & no wash cloths stacked or even replenished. They add 18% gratuity to anything & everything even to-go orders which is absolutely absurd. Coffee shop is so so ( prepare to wait in line forever for $10 coffee that is not mind blowing )& restaurant is so so ( burger whatever and the pomodero pasta was whack with added olives and capers which made it even worse ) let's not forget the 18% added gratuity for what I do not know as it was a to go order. Beach & pool service is automatic 18% added. They have two servers on the beach who split the section and skip the middle guest continually. I sat there for almost 3 hours before I got attention & delivered wasn't even the drinks order but of course 18% gratuity which is well warranted when doing your job correctly/ not half ass. You all need more than two servers on a holiday weekend on the beach for the price you are paying for stay & service. Absolutely a joke. All house keepers did was make beds daily. The last day they took out towels and wash cloths ( that were provided first night with complaint already ) & did not replace our towels. I'm not sure if they wanted me to dry myself outside on the balcony air dry or what. Complaints to front office still an hour later no towels in room. Saturday entered the adults only pool @3pm to be informed we would be booted @4pm ( due to private event ) Pools & beach close @6pm ( pools Why so early or even why the adults only pool? Other than a complete rip off) oh it gets better. The hot tubs aren't even heated ( JOKE is on YOU) same temp as pool. Heated by the sun. Another rip off. Location is the only reason why I recommend. Customer service & resort fee absolutely a joke for the price.

This hotel is so beautiful. Basil was amazing, he helped us check-in; he was so kind and welcoming! The hotel is conveniently located and the views are breathtaking. Chez Gaston has some of the best blueberry pancakes I've ever tried. Can't wait to go back

The worst hotel and service, my ac is broken, no one comes up or picks up calls here, Sheraton is so much better this hotel is a nightmare no one cares

Hotel was not bad. Beach is right behind. The rooms were spacious and the location is great. The only issue is that I was overcharged. I have provided proof of excessive charges to my credit card yet no one from the accounting department responds. Very questionable management and staff. I will continue to pursue the matter. Unfortunate because other than that the experience was not bad at all.

For $500-600 a night this place had to have a wow factor. The outside amenities did. It was one hunnit. The beach access was magical and easily accessible to the beach. They had plenty of space and the staff helped you put up these cute pink beach chairs that complimented the blue waters and white sand. The food though was a lot of a little pricey. 3 tiny, minuscule, microscopic empanadas for $14. The pina coladas were however worth the price, as it was a perfect compliment while I laid out on the beach chairs. The pool near the hotel were heated and there was also a nice play area for the kids. Once again spending around $200 for lunch for 3 mini entrees was somewhat laughable. Definitely paying for the location and amenities, which, do not get me wrong were 10/10 and would def recommend. I thoroughly enjoyed the clean beach, the attentive staff, and the private beach area weeded out from the public crowd.

A very hard working and kind staff. The private beach and pool bar were delightful! I loved the infinity pool w/ privacy and comfort on the beds around the pool. A sanctuary!

We got an awesome room with a balcony, two bathrooms a couch, and two TVs. On the balcony, we were able to watch the sun rise and the skies change colors during the sunset. Has a beach access at the back. Has a great coffee bar that sells light breakfasts. Good sized pool with lots of pool recliners and towels in the closet.

I left my AirPods Pro2 when checking out. Assistant Front Office Manager, Kristina, was superlative in seeing that they were returned to me. She was incredibly understanding and tenacious about finding and actually personally seeing to their return. Outstanding!!

I cannot believe this place has four stars. Any reviews above 1 star must be fake! There are massive hidden fees: $66/day in resort fees that are not listed anywhere, and $50/day for parking. On top of that, the valet had the nerve to try and scam me for an extra $30/day in cash, claiming he could "get me out" of paying the parking fee. There is a $25 fee to remove items from your fridge so you can use it for your own items. Total racket. The "resort" amenities are nonexistent. Good luck getting a beach chair! There are never any available. The cafe skipped me in line not once but twice, then told me I was in the wrong line and needed to start over after waiting behind 10 people both times. The food here is mediocre at best. The TV barely works. The air conditioning barely works. The floors are filthy! The shower faucet is broken. There is mold in the bathroom. The toilet constantly runs! The WiFi was not secure and unstable. The light switch didn't work. The staff is rude and unhelpful, you have to practically beg just to get a washcloth. The room doesn't have a microwave. The elevators break regularly and you're stuck waiting forever just to leave the hotel. The location is terrible unless you plan to Drive/Uber everywhere, because there is nothing walkable nearby and no decent restaurants around. To top it off, a clearly unstable, screaming woman was being arrested outside our room the night we arrived and was somehow back in the hallway the next morning screaming again. The hallways are loud all night, everything smells like marijuana, and the hotel itself is nothing special just outdated and overpriced. I've traveled a lot, and this was hands-down the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Don't be fooled by the photos or the rating, this place is a mess!!!

Just got back from a stay at the Grand Beach hotel and just wanted to say wow. Every bit of our stay was wonderful. From the valet service that greeted us with a smile, would say nice compliments to us as they open our car doors, they were quick and attentive even when handling large morning crowds. The pools we're absolutely stunning, well maintained, clean and loved the towel service! Loved the pink beach chairs and umbrellas out on the ocean. It was just a quick walk through the pool, out across the boardwalk to get right there to the ocean! And no they did not charge extra for a beach chair spot! They also had service for drinks & food waiting on you even at the beach. The waitstaff were also so easy to deal with. We ordered pina colada's to the room and they got their so quick and graciously. Also the housekeeping lady who helped us was super sweet too! Last but not least we were very impressed with our room. We requested a normal king sized room- nothing fancy. But come to find out it was fancy! With an ottoman, 2 bathrooms, robes, bar area, 2 TV's. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. And we had a beach and pool view which we're both spectacular. I think some of the people leaving reviews for this hotel has this place all wrong. We had a great stay! Thanks again.

location is great, we paid extra for an ocean view deluxe suite. gorgeous view, nice bed, that's pretty much the best things about the room. the bathroom is very outdated and just reminds me of a lower end hotel (mind you i paid about $700 for one night). our AC unit started leaking in the morning, and it was sitting about 10 degrees higher than we set it. The TV is super outdated, only had cable and kept saying it had no signal. we tried to get someone to come fix it, but they took a while. the 19th floor had a bunch of flies and dirt. the pools were nice (we were unable to use the tranquility pool because of loud miami goers). we ordered breakfast downstairs and it took about 40 minutes for our food for come (we ordered 1 meal and a bagel), and they completely forgot about us, and the food was alright but incredibly overpriced ($80), and that includes the mandatory tip they put on literally everything. there was also little flying roach bugs in the bathroom, and one was climbing on my toothbrush. Fifa was staying at this hotel while we were staying here, poor Fifa . overall would not recommend, very disappointed :(

Oh boy was I nervous about staying here. Too many Yelpers complaints usually keeps me away from places such as this. But this was the designated location of a work trip, so I didn't have a choice. I'm so glad to report that my stay wasn't awful. It was better than I'd expected. Phew! The Grand Beach is in the northern area of Miami Beach ( south of Surfside but not right in the action of South Beach). It's a medium sized hotel that I wouldn't quite consider a resort. The lobby is very pretty, with a light and airy vibe. Though the valet guys weren't the most cheerful, the bell man was very friendly and helpful. Check in was fairly simple. I was mostly worried about cleanliness. I am very picky about having clean floors, bathrooms and beds. As we went to our room, I noticed there were small sprays of wall paint on the hallway carpets. So I guess they had painted fairly recently. The hotel itself appears older (as is the case with most Miami Beach hotel) but they try to cover the age with paint. The room was surprisingly clean. And we had a suite so it was large. It wasn't the newest inside, but the bed was clean and comfy, and the main bathroom pretty good. A few tiny spots of mildew and older faucets so by no means perfect. But again not really bad. There was an additional bathroom with a tiny shower in the front of the suite near the "living room". The shower was a bit run down ( tile could use new grout ). I stayed out of that bathroom, but my husband used it once. The hotel restaurant was not up-to-par imo. Clean enough, but service is terribly slow. Food was good but selection limited. And they close at times throughout the day so be aware. We did have a problem with the A/C in the room but I was determined not to move for fear of getting placed in a dirty room. They did send Maintenance came and fixed it for us. Pool/hot tub area is very nice and the attendants were working hard to keep the areas clean. There is a 7th floor pool which was nice but not very lively. It probably is more fun when the weather is a bit warmer. Yes, this is a beachfront hotel. Access to the beach walk and beach was great. Nice location on the beach. *Warning- there is a basket of facial items like wipes, masks, and eye patches in the bathroom. While I didn't see a price list, I learned the hard way that they aren't free!! And the items aren't worth the price they charge, so leave them right there and go on Amazon if you want comparable facial items. I don't know if I'd chance this place again, for fear I may get a subpar room. But I'm happy to report that my visit was acceptable.

This is the nicest hotel we have stayed in. Walking through the door we were greeted by very friendly staff to a beautiful lobby area. Check in was quick and easy. We arrived on our floor in a beautiful mirrored elevator to a beautiful corridor. Arrived to our room opened the door and it was a definite wow! I write this on our 6th day out of 7 booked and don't want to leave tomorrow. Pool area is lovely with a nice bar .. The hotel is lovely..

We had a horrible experience when we stayed here. The hotel was under construction and it didn't state that anywhere on the website. Due to construction, there was horrible smell, loud noises and extreme long wait for elevators. I am sure that the hotel will be nice once finished. Service was okay. The staff tried their best. The staff at the beach was very helpful. Front office also tried to make things right. Overall, the price we paid didn't match the experience or quality so I don't think I would come back here again.

I fell in love with this hotel because of all the pink throughout and the exceptional staff. This hotel is so fun, great location and the perfect beach vibes we wanted. Sava at the rooftop Sky Bar is awesome! He's friendly, fun and makes the Sky Bar an enjoyable place. Definitely enjoy a drink here at sunset, perfect place to relax and a chance for beautiful photos. The staff we came across were all friendly and helpful, the outdoor mall is close by with many restaurants and shops to enjoy. The beach is only steps away with lounge chairs, service and towels. Across the way are Citi Bike rentals that are perfect for the boardwalk all the way to South Beach if you're feeling adventurous. We highly recommended a stay here if your looking to be away from the busy hustle of South Beach but also in a great location to enjoy the Florida sun, mesmerizing emerald green water and white sand. Enjoy!

If you had taken care of your guest and their item that you carelessly tossed out I would not be seeking legal action. Your lack of care and response is appalling.

NEVER book here. Horrible people. I got very sick two days prior to flying to Miami for a work trip and they refused to cancel my reservation and charged me a $1,200 penalty for canceling the day before. I had to go to the hospital because I couldn't breathe in. Scumbags.

I had a great time! It was a working trip and I extended two days to relax, the 7th floor tranquility pool it was marvelous for me. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and bed very comfy! Looking forward to coming back soon!

This place is the worst hotel ever !! I order a 2 king size rooms for me and my parents I arrived to over there from California The "manger" of the hotel gave me one room king size like I ordered and anther room queen bed !! I never had hotel in my life And I've been in a lot That try literately to scam me I left on the same day for different hotel Stay away from this hotel you have a lot of options cheaper better and with customers service Good luck with your poor business

Be careful here !!! One star only as the hotel was ok but the staff were very poorly trained and some hardly spoke English... there was a misunderstanding with rooms where my friend upgraded us to a suite and they charged us both for two seperate suites at over 1,000 dollars each room, granted it was a busy time yet I let the staff at reception know at the front office that afternoon when I got back to hotel, and then called them 2 hours later to make sure !! I spoke to the manager Vincenzo, who said it's fine and that I would receive a refund, then I went back when checking out the next morning I asked to make sure and the new day manager Kenna had no idea what we were talking about and said he had to charge for 2 rooms!?? No amount of explaining could budge his stern demeanor. Thank god for American Express chargebacks !! Be very careful here . Kenna the manager told my friend to go f#^k himself . Not great hospitality at all. Disappointed to say the very least.

I've never posted a review, positive or negative, about anything ever. So, Grand Beach: Congratulations, you've broken new ground. Service here was horrible. Rooms are full of sand and our hallway reeked of pot. We learned the first night that we had hot water in our room. We contacted the front desk and they promised they'd fix it or move us to a new room. We then heard nothing further from them. We complained again the next day and again, heard nothing for hours until a worker showed up with a ticket to repair the in-room phone. He spoke no English, but we did our best to tell him the issue was not with the phone but that we had no hot water. He left and then someone came back around 7:00 pm that night. He turned on the shower, put his hand under the water, said "no mas" and walked out of the room. Didn't hear back from anyone. At checkout the next day we raised the issue with management and they said the only complaint they had in their system for our room was that the A/C wasn't working!!! They then stated that if there were a problem they would have moved us to a different room and proceeded to ask, three different times, whether we had been offered a different room. I told them each time they asked that no one ever offered us a new room. They seemed extremely put out by that response and then offered to refund us the resort fee for the trouble and seemed to expect that we should be thanking them for the offer. Over $500 per night for three nights with no hot water and that's their solution. Won't be going back to this hotel and, if you're thinking about going there yourself, take a close look at all of the reviews. Our experience doesn't seem to be isolated; in fact, it seems to be the norm.

Stayed here for my father's 60th birthday weekend. Check in was a lengthy process. It seems like there was always a line at the front desk. When I finally arrived to the room, it was immaculate. So beautiful and white and bright, but after a little time there you realize it's also a little impractical. For one, there are no hooks in the bathroom to hang our towels. I don't like being wasteful and could have reused my towel, but they would replace it every day. Also the closet doors were made of glass with a little nub to open and it was a bit of a pain when you're trying not to get prints on the glass. The have a mini-fridge stocked with sodas and drinks and a coffee make with Folgers (was hoping for something better). The pool area is nice. They have an adult pool on the 7th floor which has some music and a bar open till at least 7 when I was there. The bar by the main pool downstairs closes early, which is lame. You have to go inside to get a drink. Beach service, as most have mentioned, is slow, but they only have a guy or two there. I agree with another review that they should have someone cleaning the pool area throughout the day. People leave their trash and food and it collects ant and flies. I didn't try the restaurant because the food did not look good. The small cafe was decent but pricy. They add gratuity but fail to tell you. One last annoyance was the fact that my dad's room had AC problems. I waited in line at the front desk in the morning to have them send someone up. She said they'd go right away. 6:00pm and they still hadn't gone by. My dad had to call them again. Three stars for the clean rooms and nice views.

I will never book another reservation at this hotel. The customer service was non-existent. Paid almost $400 for a room that I never stayed in, showed up way too early as I got the check in time wrong. Canceled it the same day. It has now been 3 weeks I have been getting the run around between the hotel and booking.com. This is ridiculous. Horrible customer service. I'm sure their rooms are nice, but I do not recommend Grand Beach Hotel due to their lack of empathy and "oh well" customer service attitude.

Definitely not worth the $1200 for 3 nights. The valet staff were extremely lacking. We only had one guy that actually was eager to help us out. He opened the door and greeted us with a smile which was refreshing after all of the others were always on their phone, did not acknowledge me at all, and had a very bad attitude. The sink in the room was leaking pretty badly which destroyed my iPad that was on the counter top. And the shower was not leveled leaving standing water on the floor which did start to smell after only 2 days. I also dropped a makeup container which rolled up the bed. When I bent down to retrieve it I saw that there was a snickers wrapped and a large amount of dust balls which explained why we were sneezing so much. Upon booking I was not made aware of the $44 a day parking fee and the $35 daily resort fee. We did like that the hotel had convenient beach access but other that that there is nothing good that I can say about it. Really regret the month we spent here, was supposed to be a 4 star experience.

I've been to this hotel twice now and although the first time was OK, the second time has convinced me not to come back. After paying a little extra for an ocean front view with my wife, we thought we'd get a "better" room than our first visit. Not the case. Staff were friendly and polite enough, but the room cleanliness was not up to par and once one thing seems unclean, everything does. Main issues: Tub was clogged for our whole stay and was not addressed when a service was requested. Updates on when it would be fixed was also not provided. Not to mention that the water was YELLOW! Disgusting. The toilet flush was broken and would not flush properly. There was dust on all the complimentary toiletries and looked like old paint splatter was on them. The mini fridge was dirty and had remnants of old spills and such. There was clearly no one who cleaned the mirrors because old stickers from what looked like from fruit/vegetables were still stuck on the mirror. All the upholstery and leather on chairs in the room were dirty and stained. One looked like literal semen on it. Again, disgusting. Asked for a different room but there were basically no others and for our short trip, we decided to stay. Luckily the room had a second toilet and shower, but the yellow water was still a concern. Most disappointing was that both maintenance and front desk staff, although polite, no one said "sorry" or offered an alternative. I was the one that suggested changing the seats, changing rooms, etc. so in that regard, they were not very helpful or apologetic.

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL! ITS FILTHY! I was very disappointed with this hotel choice. After being incorrectly placed, the hotel management refused to acknowledge the issues of filth. Minutes after checking in I realized that there were make up stains on the bedding and had to get housekeeping to change the sheets. After that it became apparent that the floor was also filthy and hadn't been properly cleaned. There was trash left on the patio and blood stains in the furniture. I'm surprised this property hasn't been shut down due to the health code violations. I will never stay here again and would NOT recommend.

This hotel is located on Miami beach. Its near the Fountain blu so its busy. You will see lots of nice cars outside. I came there on a day pass to enjoy the pool. We purchased our passes through a 3rd party site ( the hotel told us you can't buy them directly through the hotel). When we got there we experienced issues with our passes. Apparently they had been canceled because the hotel was understaffed and not accommodating day passes. The lady we spoke to at the front desk was very firm. We were a bit disappointed because we were only in town for the day to celebrate a birthday. We went to the concierge, Yuri, to see if he could assist with an alternative. Yuri was amazing. He understood the situation and once he realized that it was my friend's birthday, he went above and beyond to make sure she enjoyed her day. He got us complimentary day passes and made sure our trip didn't go to waste. I'm so happy he was around to help. Despite the hotel being understaffed, we would definitely go back once thats resolved because Yuri made sure that his customer service overshadowed any negative. Because of him we were able to enjoy a relaxing day by the pool. We were prefaced that the hotel may not be able to provide service by the pool due to short staffing and were prepared for that. However, while we were lounging a bartender came out to make drink and service the pool area. The hotel was nice on the inside. I would definitely go back once staffing issues are solved. Biggest con about the pool is that the drinks are expensive and the music was depressing. There is an adults only pool on the 7th floor where we hung out. Highly recommended.

I had lunch by the pool - the food was completely cold with the taste of hospital food. I told the waitress to please touch the food as how cold it was. His response was that the food is all refrigerated. $75 for refrigerator food!?! That was not once heat up - It was the power bowl with potato, rice, quinoa, chicken. All cold. The pool had stains on the floor and my bed sheets were with stains under the bed sheets. This place was extremely dirty. To top it off I told at check out my concerns to a lady named "marianela" she seem bother to bring up any of my concerns. She didn't even bother looking at me and said i don't know. So I said looked at her and said it in Spanish. She just rolled her eyes and told me go to the 7th floor to speak to someone there. I told her I wanted to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager .. if that lady is a manager she should be at an McDonalds or a motel not at a "luxurious hotel" that you pay over $500 for bad service, dirty sheets, and cold fridge food. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The pool water was just as WARM as the hot tub. The bathroom wouldn't flush. Horrible hotel will never come back !! And neither should you . UPDATE - I WAS NOT HERE FOR A DAY PASS, I STAY THE NIGHT. MY BF BOOKED IT.

Book somewhere else!!!!!!. 4 hot tubs and none of them were hot, neither do the jets work. The adult pool was filled with kids. The room smells like mildew and mold. The shower/bathroom is covered in mold. Couldn't stop sneezing after showering every time. The faucet to the shower is falling off the wall. The faucet to the sink had beard hairs all over it. Lots of hidden fees here. Complained to front desk about 6 different times how dirty our room was when we checked in the first day. Till the last day they never came back and cleaned up the beard hairs. The lock on the door was loose and falling off. The gift shop is never open even tho they say it opens at 9am. It doesn't. ( was hoping to buy sunscreen there) the management does not care about your complaints. The management doesn't seem to care about anything actually.

Glad to come in after check in time to have a room ready to check in with a beautiful view of the ocean. Our front desk agent was friendly and welcomed us several times. Somehow she said my card declined and to use another card, but when I looked online she went out for authorization twice. For $600 something and $700 something although claims she didnt ‍. Walking in our room it was nice and cold although it smelled like bleach. I just left the sliding door open to get the smell out. The rooms were clean, spacious and nice. Gives me the Delano hotel vibe. At the pool they take down your room number and how many towel you're taking. When it's time to return the towel theres nobody there at 7pm although they day return by 8pm. Service TAKES FOREVER at the breach and our server kept making mistakes. Forgetting salad dressing, utensils, putting 2 seperate orders in 1 room even after he asked for each of our room number to charge. He was able to seperate the bill but never came back after waiting 45 min. Coming back to the room it was cleaned well. The towels were replaced even if it wasnt on the floor. They always have short amount of face towels. We have 2 shower rooms but only get 2 in 1 bathroom. The new towels provided had stains. Good thing there were extra because these stained towels were hard to trust and had to be dumped on the floor. I was going to make another cup of coffee, I found out they never cleaned it, throw the old one away or replenish what I used. The employees arent very friendly here and coming from Las Vegas and being in the hotel industry this is a shock to all of us. We have 3 rooms here and all feel the same way. You even have to smile at the employees first and forget about being greeted. Asking a question or getting assistance they give you a vibe that your bothering them. Over all a clean and nice hotel to stay in. Beds are comfy, rooms are nice and cold and has a great view. Beach is easy to get to and accessible. Theres a nice safe path to walk on at night. Not much restaurant to chose from in the area and only have 1 in property aside from room service.

To say our stay at your hotel was uncomfortable, problematic w/daily issues and under-valued is an understatement. We had complained mostly every day for the following reasons: * Initially placed in a room w/minimal views of the Ocean after we were told by the front desk it was. - We moved rooms. * The AC closet on arrival was not locked as you were able to open it and wasn't fully shut. Therefore, leaking an uncomfortable and probably dangerous odor whiling sleeping in the room w/closed doors. - NOT fixed. * There was mold in the 2nd. Bath by the entrance which was visible in the shower. - NOT removed. * The main Bath vent was not working at arrival when you would switch the light to on. - Is was FIXED after our complaint. * Cleaning had used a cleaning agent in the hallways late Monday, 3/1st. - not sure what it was or used for but was awful, toxic and difficult to breath when entering / existing our room. * The weekend we were unable to rest due to your guest yelling / party late in the night. We have never stayed at a hotel with so many issues on a daily basis that it made our stay very uncomfortable. With $500. /eve you expect a LOT more w/minimal issues and added value. We travel often globally, this by far has been our worse experience thus far. We are appalled that you offer such an experience in Miami. After complaining to you, you had offered (slapped) a discount of less than $200. - this was unacceptable. It's NOT about the money, but how over rated in every category a d NO value for your room prices.

Let me begin by stating I have no affiliation or connection to this hotel besides for being a guest from 4/26/22- 5/1/22 , we haven't even checked out yet , I also cannot believe how difficult it can be to try add photos from my library & reviews to Yelp , I've installed the app only for this review , then it's off my phone. I cannot believe I almost cancelled staying at this absolutely gorgeous hotel , because of the review by mainly Michael , what a shame and disgrace that it was reviewed so badly in 2022 and I'm still trying to find what he's going on about. I'm OCD a perfectionist and don't like leaving my home to go anywhere that's not the way I live or up to my standards. From the moment you drive up to this breathtaking tropical oasis , This hotel is gorgeous and spotless and very newly updated to modern , Every one of The staff we have spoken to in any department or area have gone out of their ways to help with whatever is needed. The lunch that we ate in the Restaurant was fresh & excellent , and amazing service , For being known as a complainer I honestly can't find a fault so far , So god help me find what Michael was bitching about.

The food was delicious and the rooms are nice. Unfortunately the hotel was under construction so we couldn't enjoy much of the amenities. The rooms felt very humid and muggy in the morning and service wasn't amazing so that's why I knocked off a few stars. It's affordable and a nice location and the pool area and bar is nice as well.

Booked 1 night here and it was the WORST HOTEL I've ever been to. I called a day early to make sure my vehicle would fit in the garage and they promised it would saying the garage was 8ft tall. When I showed up the valet supervisor said it's only 6ft and wouldn't fit. When I asked for a manager he ignored us and just avoided the situation by walking inside. The supervisor told me I would have to park VIP for $100 a night but required a good tip. I told him that I would not be paying for VIP as the front desk never told me about this. When I have him the keys, he said, "I need a good tip". Never in my life have I ever heard of such comment before. I felt like I was being black mailed or held hostage before even entering the hotel. The room was nice, A lot of things falling apart though unfortunately. Employees all seemed lost,lazy, and miserable. 4/4 hot tubs were broken and freezing cold. Bath towels and wash cloths were missing from the room. When I tried to call down nobody would answer the phone. Overall, the hotel was a SHITSHOW! And I will not be back as I'm sure many others won't be as well.

This hotel is ideally located and it is a nice looking place but here is the problem. Everything they do they do poorly. The little coffee shop has two people working and they take forever to make orders and they do it in a way that lets you know they are miserable. It's Saturday morning at 9:38 and there are no beach towels and nobody to talk to about it at pool. The restaurant Chez Garçon should have it's name changed to Chez Wedontgiveafuck. They ran out of burgers and pizza and absolutely can't get a food order done in less than 40 minutes. The other day our lunch took 1-1/2 hours. The adult pool has a bar that has only been open once all week. The regular pool bar opens at 12:30 or 12:00 or 11:30 or when the workers open up. The phone in our room doesn't work. The lobby bar is open from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm and is closed on Tuesday. The pool opens at 9 and closes at 6. The place is so poorly run that it makes it hard to have a relaxing beach vacation.

DO NOT BOOK. HIDDEN FEES+BAD FACILITIES+ RACISM. Did not have any good interactions with the front door people, when we asked them to help us store our bags, they ASSUMED that we are Chinese and starting saying "nihao" with talking about China nonstop. It is RUDE for us to get the assumption that we are a certain nationality and felt disrespected when we told them we are not Chinese but still got the talk about China. We paid resort fee and other tax/services online while we made the reservation, however, when we arrived at the hotel , we were told that there's $58 resort fee each night. And when we checked out, there's extra $10 tax fee for each night. So we paid extra 140 on top of paying hotel money when we paid 200 something tax online already. In addition the facilities is TERRIBLE. Our first room was leaking water from the AC monitor and we have to switch rooms, and the second room's toilet had flushing issues that we have to get help multiple times. For a four star hotel, you would expect them to have the least hotel equipments ready, but when we asked for toothpaste sets and hotel shoes, we were told that they sell these in the hotel. We eventually got it for free but it was just purely stressful to communicate back and forth. AND THERE IS NO FREE WATER. They only offer Fiji water for $7.

Having stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel 8 months ago for my birthday, I booked for my husband's birthday recently. My stay then was a solid 4.5! Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed this time around. It was silly things like the hot tub being broken and the ping pong paddles being completely useless that made me wonder where the $400/night go to (lots of taxes and fees). Surely they could replace paddles and fix a hot tub? Only one hot tub available for all of the guests left us dissatisfied since it was jam-packed! We ordered drinks at the poolside bar; they were good & close to $40 for two. The tip is included; just keep that in mind so you don't unintentionally double tip. I contacted the hotel via email a couple of days prior to checking in and asked if they could do something special for my husband. They assured me they would do something special to the room but they never did; that was frustrating but no point in bringing that up to them. The only part that stood out to me was the housekeeping lady we encountered on both days who was super nice and personable. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and we did get a good night's sleep with the exception of kids running around in the morning that woke us. Checkout was a breeze; just turn in your keys and you're good to go. A little tip if you're driving: there's a parking lot a couple of blocks down that's free overnight and what you pay during the day is much cheaper than the hotel.
