Grand Café Krasnapolsky

We stayed at Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky, and we had lunch at the original Krasnapolsky Cafe once. To be honest, the food isn’t impressively good, but it’s a great place for lunch with a great view of Dam Square.

We stopped by here for one of the beautiful desserts. They are as delicious as they are aesthetic! But honestly our favourite thing, other than a lovely view of Dam Square, was the exceptional service from all the staff, especially Geertje. She took care of our order and gave us useful insights into to the city. We can’t wait to return!

I celebrated my 40th birthday at Grand Cafe Krasnapolsky with one of my best friends, and it was exactly what I wanted. We had window seats with a stunning view, which added to the perfect balance of a welcoming atmosphere and privacy. Our waiter, Max, made the experience special by surprising us with decorations and a complimentary glass of champagne when he found out it was my birthday. The food was delicious, and the service was both professional and kind. I couldn't have asked for a better experience that suited my expectations perfectly. Highly recommended!

staff was amazing!! The aesthetic was wonderful and gave a nice fine dining feeling to it. The burrata sandwich was really good value and they didn’t cheap out on the ingredients that’s for sure! I would highly recommend as a quick brunch stop from sight seeing in Amsterdam.

We met with a group of friends at the Grand Cafe. Max served us. Max provided us with an incredible atmosphere, providing fascinating stories about dishes, types of champagne, and overall made our evening very comfortable and sincere. Any of our requests was fulfilled by Max as professionally and with great dedication. He is a very diligent young man with great love for his work. Thank you for making our evening!

Ive been there for the new years eve,the food was really excellent and i really enjoyed the evening, my best congrats go to out waiter, Angelo, he was very polite but at the same time very a good company without exceeding or invading, really a good person that deserves an ode for the work he have done.

During our stay in Amsterdam we frequented this cafe everyday for refreshments and for dinner. We had a great time here. The service is very friendly and polite. Special thanks to Enrich and Soraia! The food was gorgeous and very well made and presented. Totally recommended during your stay or if you are in the area and want to grab a bite.
