Nothing good except the location. Spots are very close to each other, I got there by 16:40 and office was close (suppose to be open until 17:00). I wanted to pay cash and email them about it, they responded and since they closed early charged my card in the morning. And spreading of money, way overpriced...

We enjoyed our stay here for a couple nights while visiting the Grand Canyon. It is just about a 10 min drive to the park entrance. It is walking distance to a lot of the local stores and restaurants. We got a pull-thru site, but it was extremely cramped. Way too close to neighbors on both sides of us. No privacy from others around you. One neighbor was side by side to us with picnic tables and chairs. Vehicles barely fit in the spaces. The grassy areas were covered in tons of ant hills and fox tail weeds which made it very difficult taking our dogs to potty or walk around. We had to stick to the gravel areas the entire time because all the foxtail kept getting stuck in their paws and fur. There is however a beautiful paved greenway trail within walking distance right across from the campgrounds we enjoyed hiking on with our dogs and kids. It’s not a bad place to stay for a night or so to be in such close distance to the park. It would have been nice if they had a playground for kids. They had a very run down basketball court but no balls.

Google
Ok campground with full hookups or just water and electric with a dump station. Campground has not been updated since it opened in the 60's. Still have to pay for a shower which went out in the 70's! Propane not available have to drive 23 miles to get it. No usable wifi but Verizon, Tmobile and Starlink work good

Google
The only saving grace for this campground is its vicinity to the Grand Canyon, gas and general store. The camp sites were horrifically close together and full timers there would walk thru our tiny site to the bath house. After it rained, it was a mud pit. Fortunately, the neighbors we had that were a few feet from our door were very nice. Would NEVER stay there again and over priced for what it was.

If you came here as a kid you are in luck because nothing has changed. Nor been maintained. Every painted surface is peeling. Lack of maintenance and when anything is done clearly they use unskilled labor. Repairs not to code. Graffiti not cleaned up. Roads and sites are dirt. Showers take tokens which you can only get at the office when they are open. Refrigerators, cars, and golf carts are just strewn about the property and left to rot when they die. Lots of permanent residents. Signs around property are just hand painted on plywood and are rotted, worn, and unreadable. It's close to the national park entrance, that is about the only thing it has going. Even have grammatical errors on their web site. Overpriced. But staff is very friendly. I would give one star but am giving 2 stars for staff and nostalgia.

Google
5 stars for location and 2 1/2 stars for RV park facilities based off of cost. This place is 7 miles from the Grand Canyon visitor center at South Rim which is steps away from the rim. You are walking distance from food, general store, and gas station. The park has had very minimal upkeep which is strange due to the cost. Showers are at a cost $2 for 8 minutes for guests. Odd that guests don’t get a few tokens for the cost of staying. The site was level with mostly dirt and a bit of gravel. Fire pit and picnic table at each site. Full hookup with no issues. See pics.

Google
Good: 10 min drive to Grand Canyon, lots of space, heated bathrooms, all utilities for RVs. Bad: way OVERPRICED considering the zero effort they put into maintenance, the camping ground looks like a money printer during the Summer season. Bathrooms and appliances were quite dirty. For half the price I would have enjoyed the stay much better, what's the point of renting a camper if here you pay as much as for a motel room?

Google
This campground is VERY conveniently located to the South Rim Grand Canyon Park entrance, and to restaurants, gas stations, the market, and other establishments in Tusayan. The RV village is very clean and tidy. There are bathroom facilities with showers. The spaces are very close to each other. Dogs on leash are welcomed. We were assigned a spot surrounded by travelling construction workers (maybe working on the pipeline in the park?). This made for challenging parking since there were multiple cars per space. Everyone near us was quiet, tidy, and considerate even in close quarters.

Yelp
The ONLY positive feature of this camping park is its proximity to the Grand Canyon South Gate. The campgrounds are very unkept. It's more of a slum than a campground. The worst part is the General Store, where you will pay $12.79 for a box of cereal. The worst case of price gouging I have ever seen for all essential groceries. If you want to shop for groceries that are reasonably priced, you will have to travel over 50 miles to Williams to a Safeway Supermarket. And gas?? Outrageous. Again, price gouging on the backs of tourists. Sorry, but this campground was a major disappointment all around, again with the exception of being close to the South Gate to the Canyon. I wish we had a heads up before we booked our stay here. Never again!

Yelp
Review of the laundromat only. Clean, fast, with many machines. Bring your own soap to save money.

Yelp
We stayed in June of 2024 as a last minute change to our travel itinerary. The location is amazing! Some work could be done to improve the amenities, gravel for dust abatement, upgrade services, etc. The staff was friendly, and the camper store was very cute! They were dog friendly as a camp ground, but the cheat grass had gone to seed (hadn't been mowed) and between that and the dust, it was hard for the pup. There are seasonal workers staying in the campground, they were quiet. We did not use their bathrooms or showers. We would go again in the same circumstances, (sites in the park are all taken).

Mikell r.

Yelp
Extremely nice people. I did not stay overnight here, I stayed at a dispersed camping site 20 minutes away. just stopped here for laundry and shower services that they allow people to use that aren't staying here. Shower is 2 dollars per 8 minutes which compared to a truck stop is an incredible deal considering truck stops charge 16 to 20 per shower regardless if you only need 8 minutes. Laundry is very well priced compared to regular laundromats. Other reviewers stated this place was dirty but I disagree. If it were dirty and not cleaned there would be smells. I realized when I got here everything is just old and outdated. Which to me isn't a problem. If you want glamping then go somewhere else if you want a basic quiet place to camp that's close to all the services this area has to offer, this is it.

Monica S.

Yelp
Very basic RV site. While we were there the bathroom was not well maintained. Only one of the bathroom stalls locked, the showers were out of order, and there were constant clogged toilets. There is not a lot of shade or grass, basically just a parking lot. I do not recommend.

Yelp
Grounds are not taken care of, it's a muddy mess and in need of new gravel!! The camp host was nice and friendly. I doubt it is any better in summer, its still going to be super dirty without more gravel.

Yelp
First thing, the customer service is awesome. Very helpful, answers all our questions and have us some great insights and tips. The campground is not too far from the entrance to the Grand Canyon and surrounding area. The campground itself is no frills but was very nice. Word of advice, don't leave anything outside. Tons of ravens.

Yelp
Let's start with....RV, trailer, tent life is what it is! Glamping in our case!! I personally did not experience any rude staff...so they either hired new people or got it together! Yes, this is a flat dirt location with very little to do, but for us it's all about having a place to hook up for our time to play football, BBQ, sleep/use our restroom! Being at the Grand Canyon is all about that! Being at the Grand Canyon! This location is perfect for just that! You have what RV life needs (we unfortunately did not make reservations in time//very last minute so we did not get full hook up), but I must say how kind they were notifying me via email, giving me that piece of mind that I found a spot so close to the Grand Canyon entrance for my family! Yes you are close to your neighbors on the full hook up side, but our side...we had the whole row to ourselves! The absolute only thing I was sad about was no fire pit in our spot, but the next row had an open spot with one available for our s'mores session! Also...every morning elk come hang out here at 6am! So, once again...sometimes you have to experience a location for yourself and not go by the stars...or in my case that's when I only read the negative to read what the biggest complaints are and for me if it is rude staff, close to your neighbors type stuff...well I'm always down for a challenge! Kill the ride with kindness and enjoy life!!

Yelp
You cannot beat this location. It is RIGHT outside of the park and you can take a shuttle across the street (from Imax) that will bring you right into the Grand Canyon National Park. It is SUPER convenient, especially when you have little ones. There are a ton of kids that stay here, which is a plus for us. Yes, you have to pay for the showers, but this isn't an uncommon practice. It's $2 for 8 minutes. Be quick and you can fit 2 people in that time. There are laundry facilities, which I really appreciate, as my son and I are living out of our campervan this summer. So, I did our laundry while he played with his new friends. As other people have noted, the facilities are not modern, but they are clean and that's all I care about when camping. You can also walk to a few restaurants, Starbucks, a convenience store, etc.. You can honestly just park and enjoy your stay.. which is fantastic after we've spent the last week and a half driving everywhere. Also, the people that work here are very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again. We booked our site for (4) nights and are happy that we did!
google avatar

Leah B.

Yelp
Uhm.. this place is basic as basic can get! Filthy bathrooms and showers. Very nice office staff that's why they get 2 stars. Would I stay here again. no

Julia B.

Yelp
Friendly people running the campground.. I was able to get last minute reservations for 2 nights stay with no problem.. store was close and bus system into the park was walking distance.only issue I had was the place was infested with some sort of gopher's or rodent . Wholes all over the ground .. have to be careful where you walk
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
We would Never stay here again. Bathrooms were gross! No wifi or even cable....For almost 60 per night, I wish we would have stayed in Williams.
google avatar

Cynthia Q.

Yelp
We were a bit disappointed - just a dirt field behind a shopping center. The showers & bathrooms are very basic and it cost to take a shower. Not worth it at all. We are giving 2 stars as it is close to the South Rim entrance and the staff were nice.

Yelp
Enjoyed our stay while we visited Grand Canyon. First I was a bit hesitant due to reviews but the place had everything we needed. Not fancy but everything works. Excellent stop to visit Grand Canyon. Stayed couple of nights.

Yelp
Came and stayed here for only one night our trip was cut short because of no sewer and the bathrooms were disgusting after being on the road for so long I decided I would deal and use there restrooms to shower because we did not have a tank to dump paid 4$ and barely got a 5 minute shower luckily I was able to get a refund after I had walked half naked from the showers back to my trailer not to mention the shower curtain literally had blood spots on it so take my advice and don't come here unless you want to catch a disease from the restrooms

Alyssa L.

Yelp
AVOID!!! This is by far the worst campground we've ever stayed at. The showers take tokens which are $2 for 8 minutes. Now I can get a quick shower in 8 minutes but when the shower is DISGUSTING then half of the time is spent making sure I'm touching the least amount of things as possible. There were pubic hairs on the soap holder and you could tell them do not clean them. The tent sites have no power or water so we purchased an RV site since we needed the electricity to charge our devices. The ground was uneven and rocky which I wish we had known. The lady said people use these sites for tents all the time but I doubt anyone enjoys sleeping on this rocky mess. For $52 a night they should be able to provide basic amenities like a clean shower. On top of everything they gave us a wifi password that would not work. I'm not sure if the router was overwhelmed or if they just don't have it set correctly but it was impossible to get logged on. Having no service we really needed the wifi to plan the next leg of our trip.

Yelp
This is an OK campground for those who can't get into the ones in the national park. It is just outside of the park within walking distance of a general store, restaurants and the purple shuttle into Grand Canyon. Most sites are 30AMP and they are OK, dirt with hookups. We tried for a 50AMP full hookup, they told us they only had 30AMP water and electric available and then got us set up with 30AMP full hookups. Our site was a bit short for a 40' motorhome and tow car, but we managed. The prices for 50AMP full hookup are higher than the national park, but the 30AMP full hookups site ended up about $1/night less than we paid in the park. The turnover every day was large, with many rental RVs and others only staying one night.

Cynthia V.

Yelp
The bathrooms were not clean and sanitary either were the showers. No laundromat, which when traveling you need a laundromat. Office wasn't consistent with office hours. Office had a terrible smell inside. Their wi-if is terrible, never connected and we were there 3 days! And u have to ask for the non working connection wi-if. It just looked like we parked along side of the road for the exception of power etc. we don't recommend this park to our worst enemy much less you'all. I have it a star only because I can post the review with some star. It doesn't even deserve 1 star

Evan C.

Yelp
It was amazing I wasn't sure what to expect because of the reviews but, all the reviews are written by angry Karen's who don't know what there talking about. It was easy access to bike trails and Grand Canyon and was a pleasant stay. Amazing you should definitely stay here if you are looking for a rv park in the Grand Canyon. And callout to the angry Karen's stop being angry get a life get good and get not bad u

Yelp
I will begin with the positive: This RV/tent site is very close to the park and the park shuttle is just down the road. The showers and dish washing sinks have lots of warm water. The check in person during the evening is very kind. Now for the negative: The site was muddy and basically just a dirt lot. The morning desk clerk was rude. The bathrooms were dirty. No shade Few fire pits Showers only take tokens and cost $2 We were asked to be quite as soon as we sat down by the fire and began to chat. There were very few patrons at this park.....everyone else must have gotten the word. We won't come back.
google avatar

Brenda L.

Yelp
We paid 50 for the spot but we weren't told we had no water to hook up the RV. We were told that the water in pipes froze but yet the showers work perfectly fine.

Stephen D.

Yelp
Attrocious!! I recently stayed at the Grand Canyon Camper Village in Tusayan, and I must say, this is THE worst trailer village I have EVER visited. To begin, the restrooms are absolutely disgusting, poorly maintained, dilapidated, and unsanitary. Sadly, myself and my family opted to go our entire stay without showering, it was a healthier option. There is mold growing in corners, no pressure, and generally disgusting. The toilets hardly worked. For the 3 days we visited, one of the two toilets was clogged the entire time in the boys restroom, and 3 of the 4 toilets in the girls restroom was clogged. Unless you have an RV that have sewer hook ups and a shower, do not expect to be clean. The grounds themselves are completely lack-luster. Over half of the entire park is without any shade, completely exposed, no trees, and absolutely NOTHING to do. In addition, the park backs up to private residents with barking dogs and so much noise. Very hard to relax in the evening when all you can hear is dogs barking. It is in my opinion that this place stays in business because of those that could not get a site inside the Grand Canyon, like myself. I'm guessing the owner(s) know this, and neglect to repair the facility because they know they don't have to. Do yourself a favor, avoid the Grand Canyon Camper Village at all cost and book your vacation FAR in advance so you can enjoy the GC the way it is meant.

Yelp
We liked it. Super-close to the Grand Canyon. Elk in the campsite were a fun surprise. Walking distance to souvenir shops, general stores, coffee shop and restaurants. No frills. Laundry on site. Pay showers. Free dish-washing station. Ground squirrel holes everywhere. WiFi with campsite. When we were there, there were lots of European teenagers on holiday...I had to plan showers when they were sleeping-in to avoid a wait in the bathroom. Price was fair for a decent spot, a mile from GCNP.
google avatar

Roberta L.

Yelp
No I have loaded the video she can't help unless manager is here. She laughed after selling spots that don't work or burn out. Then could not give us a refund it's no like we could verify our plugs worked. They then tested with a plug thing that cant read the correct amps. Duh we said the chargers were working but nothing else. We borrowed the neighbors extension cord to make sure it was not us. The entire side was out. This spot and others our neighbors were also upset but what options did we have. Well .. in the park are a few sites hopefully they are better. CHECK YOU SPOT FIRST PLUG IN OR FACE BEING DISAPPOINTED.

Yelp
This place is by far the WORST campground I have ever stayed at!! Not only is the campground dirty and under kept, the staff is so rude and unfriendly. Not helpful at all!!! We had no choice but to tent camp, everything else was sold out and we wanted a nice hot shower. The tent spots were far from bathrooms and next to a "private road", which was so noisy with vehicles driving by all night. Once we got to our site, the ground was full of weeds and rocks. It was so disappointing, not to mention that you can tent camp for free everywhere else. To make it better, the so expected showers never happened. The bathrooms were so dirty, full of mud and there's an $2.00 fee for 8 minutes of a shower!!! This was never mentioned upon checking in. What an embarrassment to those traveling to visit this beautiful country. Never again will I stay here!! If you want to tent camp. Just go stay somewhere else for free and use the camping service showers. Avoid the rudeness and the noise.

Yelp
They had NO WIFI and told us they weren't the only ones who didn't. They said it was due to covid but I don't think they were being honest. The laundry facility was in terrible condition with only 3 working washers and 2 dryers. They charged a lot for both and sold powder detergent no liquid so there was no way to see if I put enough or too much in resulting in wetter than planned clothes. There was a giant cockroach coming outside from the laundry so that was nasty! The only good thing was that they did refund us for a night because we had to leave suddenly. I'd highly recommend them if you don't mind no WiFi or working laundry machines nor dryers. Also if looking for souvenirs they don't sell anything good. They had one positive - they are walking distance from a steak restaurant, Starbucks and a pizza place as well as a mini market with tons of souvenirs - expensive but good.

Tammy H.

Yelp
For $66/night, you expect at least a fire pit or playground. Nope. Let's talk laundry $5.50 PER LOAD. Let's talk showers. $2/8 min, yep you pay. But the good part is they're slimy!!! No security at the showers, anyone can walk in. It's just filthy.

E E.

Yelp
This place is great if you want to see the Grand Canyon. It's a really short and easy drive to the park entrance. After a few hours of sightseeing, the campground is within walking distance to a market/gift shop, Starbucks, and a pretty decent pizza place (an expensive pizza place, but it's a tourist town). The staff is helpful and the restrooms and grounds are clean. In the morning, I was able to walk to Starbucks and get coffee. This place is not great if you want a destination campground. The site was not level - normally not a huge deal as we have leveling blocks - but my truck was having trouble getting traction on the loose and uneven dirt to move my rig onto the blocks. There are virtually no trees, so there is not even the illusion of privacy. What the lack of trees made worse was when someone was coming in at 11 pm, they had a perpendicular spot and their headlights were shining directly at us. After a day of sightseeing, I was trying to sleep and the headlights weren't helping. I finally got up and shined my powerful flashlight back at them. They yelled "sorry" and turned off their lights, but still made a bunch of noise setting up. People who live nearby will walk though the campground. We were staying at the edge and people would walk from the neighborhood through the campground towards town. At first I thought they worked at the campground, but after about 5 walked through while I was hitching up, I figured not that many people worked there and the campground was a convenient short cut. Bottom line, would I stay there again? YES, if it was just for a night or two to see the Grand Canyon. The location is very convenient. Would I stay there again for several nights as part of a long weekend/vacation? Probably not.

Yelp
We stayed here just after Memorial Day on a tent site up the hill. Looking at the below reviews I can definitely see why people with RVs will not like this place. The RV area is an open field with no trees, no shade, no privacy. The tent area has shade but mostly slightly slanted sites. Restrooms were very clean and well maintained. If you are looking to stay close to Grand Canyon without booking ahead this place fits the bill. It's pricey, but you are paying for the location. If you want a nicer place, with better amenities then drive the 60 miles away to a better facility. I personally did not want the 120 miles round trip each day. That being said, let's be realistic. Likelihood of you staying here is because you are going with the flow and did not book anything in advance like ourselves. The Grand Canyon village site were full and you were left looking elsewhere. When you do that you have to be prepared for what you can get. We were afraid of being forced to dispersal camping. If you wanted to stay in the park you should have booked ahead. This place is clean, well maintained and gives you basic necessities and not much more. People expecting more need a reality check.

Yelp
Just 5 min away from crowded Grand Canyon Rv Campgrounds. Friendly & helpful owners. Okay it's not the Ritz or the Martinez, but when mather or trailer village are full that's the place to go for a couple of nights close to the South Rim. Basic yet clean & super cool for Rv first timers looking for a piece of Americana. Sorry posh haters.
google avatar

Sally C.

Yelp
Do not stay here we had a 50 amp reserved since June. Got there and we were told "sorry" we gave it away. Luckily it was cool enough we didn't need the A/c. Also the place is a mess. Everything they said about the woman at the front is true. This is the closest park to Grand Canyon and they know they can charge outrageous prices because of it. Not worth the money. Very run down. I'm glad I didn't have to use the restrooms. Yuck

Yelp
Came in for 2 nights with my 30ft class A while seeing the Grand Canyon. Great location but that's it. The park in a little outdated and run down. Sites are tight. Some sites face each other. Our site was #147. #148 faces us. Great if you're with the other people but a little weird if not. 1st night a class C with 2 slides pulls in with 8 people in it. So there was about 16 feet between his door and mine. He went to the office and got moved. 2nd night a smaller class C pulled in with no slides and 4 people. I just laughed and had a beer with the guy. Worse setup I've ever seen. Funny thing was not like the park wasn't full and they had to put Rv's face to face. Pay showers $2. Didn't use but my new friend said they never got hot when he used it. My fire pit was less then 5 feet from the rv on one side. So couldn't use it. Only gave 2 because of the location and it was quiet. Otherwise a solid 1 out of 5. Priced high at $57 a night 30 amp.

Yelp
f you are looking to camp DO NOT BOOK AT "Grand Canyon Campers Village" I tried making reservations via email and this is the response I got. They need some customer email etiquette :( What would you think if you got this response from the office Mgr.?....... " DON'T THINK WE ARE THE PLACE FOR YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS WHILE YOU ARE AT THE GRAND CANYON. ENJOY YOUR VISIT TO THE CANYON. Sheryl Strobeck, Office Manager Grand Canyon Camper Village 928-638-2887"

Jennifer S.

Yelp
This place is what it is. Pros: Customer service is excellent. Dixie and Jody were particularly helpful. The location is also very convienent, just outside the park and within walking distance to the general store, a Starbucks, some restaurants and the IMAX. Bathrooms are dated but very clean. Cons: Campsites are VERY close together with little to no vegetation or trees to create even the illusion of privacy. Fire rings are available upon request but make sure there is follow through because many sites don't have them. I wouldn't stay here again but it was fine for what it was.
google avatar

Yelp
I guess zero stars isn't an option. They banned me from their camp ground for going 6 or 7mph I drive a standard and always stay in first gear when leaving the area but if their employe James goes 20mps then that obviously fine I guess. Fix your pot holes if you want people to use the right road. So if yall go over 5mph in their camp ground you'll be arrested. Watch yourself. And by the other reviews not worth the stay.
google avatar

Yelp
Staying at the Grand Canyon Camper Village was quite an experience. We were greeted by a grouchy woman who took our credit card. This is an old campground originally set up for trailers, NOT rv's. When we asked about the wifi the reservationist was quick to point out that there was no extra charge and that "sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't." And it didn't. We had a struggle with our 35 ft. rv getting it into the assigned space. The site was pretty level, but it was muddy and there was little room for parking our towed vehicle. All the roads in the campground are in disarray, with large pot holes and lots of mud. The gravel for the interior roads was non-existent. Bathrooms and showers are disgraceful. I cannot shower in a pigsty. Buyer beware. Make sure you check this place out before signing on the dotted line.

Yelp
Of the almost 100 RV parks my wife and I have stayed at in the last 10 months, this was probably the worst, and we've stayed at some pretty shady places! First of all, there were only two RV parks open at this time of year (December) near the Grand Canyon. We chose this one because it supposedly had full hookups, it was right outside the park, there was phone signal, and it was cheaper than Grand Canyon Trailer Village inside the park. When we got there, they told us they had full hookups, so we decided to stay and they charged our card for our 5-night stay. When we got to our site, after setting up, we turn on the water and there was nothing. We go to the office and they said they forgot to tell us that they shut off the water for the season, but potable water was available for us to fill our fresh water tank. Well that's just great! We already detached and set up the trailer! So they said they can turn on the water during the day for us, but it had to be shut off at night to keep from freezing. Fine. So we used the free camp shower the first night (which they felt obligated to let us use versus the pay showers because of THEIR mistake). They turned on the water for us the next day, which was fine as we were able to use our bathroom, wash dishes, etc. We go out for the day. We come back and they leave us a note saying they can't turn on the water for us anymore. WTF! So we use the free camp shower for a second night. The next morning the free shower is locked. We decided to leave then and there! Out of courtesy, we tell them we're going to GC Trailer Village in the park. No apology from them. Bottom line: STAY AWAY FROM THIS RV PARK!!! Their customer service sucks and all they want is your money!!! Seriously, this place needs to be shut down!!!! On a different note, GC Trailer Village is awesome, even though they're a little more expensive. You're in the park, you have full hookups, and you get to see elk, deer, and even coyotes roam around the campground. Stay there instead!

Yelp
Good place to stop for showers doing winter season in Grand Canyon. Especially for tent campers, backpackers, or road trips! Only $4 for an 8 minute HOT (yes HOT) shower!

Yelp
Awesome place to stay for you last minuters! So close to absolutely everything. Way worth it. Ignore the bad reviews!

Yelp
I rather enjoyed this place! Not that far from the Grand Canyon and staff was nice. Also provided showers compared to other campsites in the area!

Yelp
Our first time going to the Grand Canyon. This RV place was the WORST place ever. The receptionists are rude and unhappy. No Welcomes, no hello, no, how was your trip? No , enjoy your stay. My first and last time there. The only good thing about this place is that is just minutes away from the Grand Canyon. I'm not going to spend my hard work earned $$$$ to see long faces and no passion about making visitors welcome.

Yelp
This is THE WORST RV campground we have stayed at in 8 months of full-timing. This place is even worse than I was expecting even after reading all the reviews. We are paying $52/nt to basically dry camp because there is not enough voltage to power our 30 amp rig. After spending 7 hours on the road and 45 mins to set up the last thing you want to do is move. The maintenance guy was in the office listening to our issues and said he already clocked out so he couldn't help us. Are you freaking kidding me! You are literally 50 paces from our site and he never came by the next day to make repairs. They have "no refunds" splayed everywhere. When they over charged us for an additional night we did not reserve, the ladies at the front argued with us for 5 minutes before realizing it was their mistake and finally offered cash as refund because apparently the owner has it set us so they are unable to refund/reverse credit card charged. Additionally, the sites are unlevel, dirt, with no trees/shade. $3 to dump and $2 per shower. I've been in the office 4 times now and each time there was at least 2 people ahead of me in line with problems to report. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you dry camp on the public lands that are even closer to the entrance than this park. There are dozens and dozens of easy access free parking sites for larger rigs (35' at least). Had I done more research and had known there were so many great free sites, we would have dry camped for free just outside the entrance to the park.

Yelp
Great location! Not ideal for hanging out as you are very close to your neighbors. But it works for easy access to the park. Very quiet place.

Yelp
This is my first time staying at an RV or trailer campground. I enjoyed this campground because it was very well spread out and I was not close to anybody it was also 10 minutes from the Grand Canyon which was amazing only downfall is it's a dirt lot and not enough trees for privacy I would definitely go back nice staff and clean please .

Yelp
I wish I could post a zero star review. This place is terrible, even if the only game in town. You'd be better off staying at Williams (50 miles away) than to deal with the rude staff and terrible upkeep of this "village". The roads are rough, all lots are dirt and uneven (when dry), and the lukewarm showers disgusting. But the worst was the treatment by the staff behind the desk. On more than one occasion I walked in to talk to the person perched behind the computer and start a conversation only to find that the lady was on a headset chatting with someone. A finger waved in the air was the only way to know that she was already engaged. After ending one call, I could only get a few words in edgewise before she would transition to a new call in the middle of our conversation. The last straw was a back and forth over quarters for the showers. The first day, the lady behind the desk pleasantly made small talk while making change for three in our party to take showers. The second day a different lady was exceptionally rude (once off headset) and refused to make change. She told my girlfriend to get change from the next door General Store. My GF dutifully trudged to the General Store (in her PJs) to get quarters but was rudely told by the General Store that the Camper Village should be responsible for making change for their patrons. So my poor GF trudged back to take another chance with the rude lady behind the desk. Again the woman said "no", b/c she had no change to give. My GF suggested that the woman could probably get some change from the coin machines in the nearby shower house. The woman angrily replied that she was busy, we should try a gas station in town, and...no exaggeration...returned to eating her Big Mac! We had to drive into town to get quarters to shower before leaving that afternoon.

Yelp
The campground could definitely use some sprucing up, but the reality was that we spent the daylight time at Grand Canyon and were only in camp at night so didn't really matter. Much more important: they had a full hookup spot when we showed up unannounced on Friday afternoon in mid July. The staff was friendly and got us settled quickly.

Yelp
This "village" is a waste of a wonderful location. There has been no upkeep, amenities are basic and the place looks rundown.Staff didn't tell us that site was without water when we checked in. No shade, charging for showers, bored staff. We've cut our visit here short because we can't wait to get out. They must know people will not be happy because you have to pay up front and there's loads of "no refunds" all over the office.

Yelp
This place is convenient to the South Rim. Just a couple miles south of the entrance station. People are very friendly & helpful. The winter rates are less but the water at the campsites may be turned off due to low temperatures at night (19°) when we were there in mid Feb. This is not a posh RV park, but your not spending a lot of time here other than eat, sleep & . The iMax is worth seeing and visit R.P. Stage Stop next to Wendy's for some nice & unusual treasures and great coffee

Yelp
Unfriendly staff and the bathrooms are really dirty. I wouldn't recommend staying here and the Grand Canyon park was by far the dirtiest. There was lots of litter everywhere.
