Grand Canyon Railway Depot

Family of 6 APPROVED! Great way to see the landscape and history of how most early travelers got to the Grand Canyon. We have done many train rides on various vacations. Black Hills, SD. Smokey Mountains, TN. Branson, MO. Etc. This one operates very much on the same format as those. A fun way to travel and gain local experience and history of the area. Pack some snacks, (also available on the train for purchase) Next time it would be great to spend a night at the hotel at the Grand Canyon and see the sunset and rise again. I’d recommend that! The street shoot out in Williams after the train ride was great too!

Recommend this 100%. Worth every $$. Did the Luxury train ride. Very nice. Had singing cowboys, train robbery, snacks and beverages. Met fantastic people. Loved our train lady, Jenny, she was so awesome. She made the trip so fun.

Took the train from Williams to the Grand Canyon and it was an incredible experience. The views aren’t the best going there since it’s mostly fields and trees but the crew on board well makes up for it. We were lucky enough to have Mia as our PSA and got to jam out with the awesome Singing Sam. We had plenty of time at the Grand Canyon to explore and see what we wanted to see in the time we had there. We rode coach and it was worth the prices. We brought our own snacks and beers in a cooler back pack but the bar has plenty of options as well. Coach was the best value in my opinion and would definitely come back.

Drops you off literally a 2 minute walk away from the village. Brilliant location. The whole experience of the train was incredible. From cowboy shows to just great views. The gentleman in our carriage was incredible.

Love it! This is my second time. I'll be doing this again. We rode in the Coconino car this time and had Rob as the host. He was wonderful. Yes the ride is slow but if it wasn't you could miss the beauty of the nature around you. In my opinion it is a must do at least once in your life.

Our family took a train to the Grand Canyon from Williams AZ. It was our first train ride and I strongly recommend it for you as well. Our attendant Rebecca was so knowledgeable about the history of the Grand Canyon. Beat the traffic and help save Mother earth by taking the train.

The Grand Canyon Train experience was absolutely amazing. We were in the Kopepelli car and the attendant was fenomenal explaining what we could see and do with a little over 3 hours in between train rides. Even though it snowed the running in and out of gift shops to see the sights back to the gift shops to get warm still didn't damper our day and we were able to get some really good shots. Thank you. We had so much fun we can't wait to book our next train experience.

Our rail car guide Gina was very attentive, informative, and kind. Trip was enjoyable as expected. A relaxing ride to amd from the park with plenty of time to tour the village. On the train ride back, the train robbers were captured by the Marshal and marched through the cars...enjoyed the show. Highly recommend the trip and its worth the first class price. The entire railway staff was helpful and complimentary.
