Absolutely stunning,sophisticated and sexy unique cigar lounge in a beautifully renovated historic church.Before you enter the building you feel transported to another era with outdoor seating on large patios with fire pits and koi ponds full of fish. Friendly and knowledgeable staff there to help to guide patrons as to the perfect cigar with so many choices to choose from in a large humidor especially the Arturo Fuente Collection. There is a full bar with whisky,wine, craft cocktails, and specialty coffee! There is a piano bar, comfortable lounge seating, and a private upstairs exclusive area for members. Television had sports on, the atmosphere was fun, comfortable and engaging. Love is in the details and even the bathrooms where amazing. Angela Yue founder and proprietor should be applauded for this creative and artistic renovation of this 1906 Church along with her partner Carlos Fuente Jr. Who carries on the Arturo Fuente family name and reputation for iconic cigars for those that deserve the best!

Beautiful atmosphere, nice selection of premium cigars and great specials. The full bar has an amazing selection, wish there was draft beer but Guinness was good either way. Lots of seating and comfortable chairs to hang out with friends. Here on a cigar trip with my friends and this is a perfect place to spend some time.

My husband and I visited Florida and ended up making the trip more about visiting cigar lounges then anything else we had planned. A couple of different people in different locations recommended grand cathedral cigars and we were planning to be in Tampa our last day so we made it a visit. It was incredibly cool. We highly recommend it as a stop if you’re visiting the area. If we were locals, we would become members. Super nice people both in the cigar sales area and in the bar. Really fun atmosphere make sure you take a minute to read the articles on the wall as you go down the hall to enter the bar and lounge area. The history of the building is fascinating. Kudos to the young owner with her incredible vision and making it come true.

This was my first time visiting Grand Cathedral Cigars, and it did not disappoint. We were looking for a place with a laid-back vibe but still a great atmosphere, and this spot delivered. There’s a reason “Grand” is in the name—the converted old church setting is absolutely stunning and gives the place a nostalgic, one-of-a-kind feel. The cigar selection was excellent, and the drinks were just as impressive as the ambiance. I’ve definitely found my new go-to spot for future visits. If you’re in town, this place is a must.

As you mature you realize it's important to buy "the people" as much as a given product. Grand Cathedral is the pinnacle of buying "the people" - Angela has assembled a team of peculiarly EFFECTIVE Misfit Toys. Dom and Sheena are my cornerstones. Ayssa the Queen, Joel, Tian, and the occasional loose screw but the whole things just WORKS. The environment is great! The product selection is great! The events they host are great! So much so that even when the Fuente family or Plasencia family are present, there is no desire or need to go swoon. The Grand Cathedral staff are just where you want to be anyway. Where else does that happen? Nobody skips the chance to take a picture with the celebrities to hang out with the ground crew. Grand Cathedral has just figured out how to make everything work, even when it doesn't. Well done!

This place is fantastic, best lounge ever been too. The staff if EXTREMELY professional. If you’re new to cigar lounges they make you feel welcome and are very helpful. The bartenders are the best. They know what tab you have and what you’re drinking and they’ll keep an eye on your drink and come ask you if you want another or something else before you even get up out of your seat. The inside of the building is beautiful and historic. The patrons are all classy and very respectful. I can’t recommend this place enough. Make sure to ask for the house cigars, they’re fantastic!

This place is GLORIOUS!! Pictures do not even do it justice. You must go see for yourself. Right when I pulled into to park, I was amazed at the beauty of the old cathedral. I love seeing old architecture. All the people inside were great to talk with and gave a novice cigar smoker (me) some very good advice on cigars and cigar bars near my home. I really appreciate a good conversation that is genuine and personal while getting great service. I also really like their cigar bags that are custom to this place!

This is my go to cigar lounge. It is one of the best in a city known for cigars. The first thing to note is the wait staff. They are the best. My two favorites are married to each other and they have come to know the drinks and cigars I like. They are both friendly and personable. There humidor is not the biggest so the selection is not as varied as some other places. That being said they have my favorite cigar the Jesuit. It is a very smooth even burning cigar. The taste is mild which goes good whether I am drinking a dry martini or an old fashioned. The bar is top shelf for whiskey in my opinion. They have all of my favorites. Is it pricey? Yes it is but this is not a dive location. Tampa has plenty. Moving from whiskey they have a good selection of beer and wine. I particularly enjoy their Malbec of which the name I cannot remember. Now nothing is perfect and they have had two hard and fast rules and just added a third. First, no outside liquor which okay no problem. Second no cigars not purchased from them. I can work with that. The newest is no travel humidors. Now this one means that they hold my humidor and I have to go to the counter and get a cigar when I'm ready. We will have to see if that becomes a problem. So this place gets 5 stars.

We stopped into Grand Cathedral Cigars today and the place is a sight. The old church bones are still there, just dressed up for cigars and conversation. Parking was the first challenge... the lot was full and the overflow is down the corner. Not a huge deal on a sunny day, but I wouldn't feel safe towalk back in the rain or the late evening. Inside, service was right away. They steered us into the humidor, heavy on Fuente, and we each found something quick. Paid up, skipped their cut-and-light since we bring our own tools, then made our way to the lounge. We grabbed a table by the big double doors, probably the old entrance, and I hit the bar for a Crisp, refreshing "Sin and Tonic." It can get loud, but the live guitarist kept the vibe mellow enough. Upstairs has members only seating and rooms, but being out of town we stuck to the main floor. Still, plenty of atmosphere and good spots to settle in. Unique building, good humidor, lively lounge.

Good experience here. As you walk in, you're delighted by the old artifacts from the original cathedral. They kept the original design well and restored it very well. From the different shades of wood to the arches and all the intricate details, I was amazed. I learned a lot and it has great vibes. The gentleman at front that manages the humidor was kind and very knowledgeable about the cigars, which they had a great variety of. As you walk into the main area, you're literally stepping into history. The high ceilings, the wood, the grandeur were very unique. Great selection of craft cocktails and good service. :) They have live music from Wednesday - Saturday in the evening, so excited to go then. Excited to go back. :)

This place is awesome a church that's been converted into a cigar lounge! The are fist rate and they are onto of your drink order all the time. And yes there house cigars are a not miss. And you never know who's going to come in and sit at your table.

Probably the greatest cigar lounge in Tampa. Tampa is blessed to have many cigar lounges probably more than any other city in the world. But Grand Cathedral stands out as one of the most unique places to enjoy a cigar and a conversation anywhere I have ever been. The staff is very helpful and always super friendly! Try the house cigars for sure!

Hidden gem. Been wanting to try this place and a friend visiting was the excuse we needed. This is an old church in a residential neighborhood converted to a wonderful cigar lounge. Upon entry there is a huge humidor with plenty of selection from moderate to high end. We opted for the very reasonably priced house blend and were not disappointed. They smoked beautifully and lasted almost two hours. Fantastic. We found seats in one of the little alcoves overlooking the bar. Service was prompt, courteous and friendly. The cigars were so good we stopped by the humidor to buy some to take home as we left. Outstanding afternoon.

This place is really cool. I stopped by here yesterday and really enjoyed the experience. The humidor has a solid selection of cigars. I had a Padron 50th Anniversary and something else I don't remember. The drink menu here is solid. I really enjoyed their take on the Espresso Martini. The bar service was also great. If I lived in Tampa, I'd be here at least once a week. I found Street parking around the corner and there appears to be other parking options as well.

Stopped in Monday for a quick smoke and Dom so graciously helped me pick out a great stick. The cocktails were also amazing.

Went in early on a Sunday so not many folks . Nice selection of cigars and drinks. The atmosphere is fantastic great old church. Indoor and outdoor seating available. On site parking but seems limited probably diluting busier times. Definitely would go back when I'm in town.

Today I came with Gold Leaf Cigar Club from San Antonio and we had a great time. We reserved a section for our time, everything was exceptional. When I travel, I always look for the local blends and today was no different. I was very impressed with all the nuances in the flavor profile of the Pope. The Deacon was creamy and full of flavor, not your average cigar. Choosing to refurbish an old Cathedral and bring the cigar culture into it, has made this an iconic location for all cigar connoisseurs. This comes to fruition, bringing old-world vibes with modern flare. The service was not lacking and smoke selection was refreshing.

Love this place! Great selection of quality cigars and a full bar with a literal plethora of whiskey and tequilas to pair with a stick!!! Prices are decent and they have something for everyone where do you like it robust and full bodied or more light with sweeter notes and let's call him cigar attendance, our attentive and knowledgeable. Great mixed drinks, but most beers come from a can not a huge problem. They even have a decent wine selection. Plenty of seating the vibe in here is amazing lights live music, comfortable chairs, and multiple levels even have outdoor seating with heaters. The only downside of this place. Is that crowded suffering from success! And the parking lot is tiny, but they do have an overflow just a block away.. Definitely recommend this place whether you're new to cigars or a seasoned aficionado you won't be disappointed.... I'll have to come and add pictures next time I go.

This place is just really cool! Great selection of cigars and just an awesome vibe. We came two years ago and still love it. It's a must try in Tampa even for non cigar lovers. Just get a drink and enjoy!

The people at Grand Cathedral Cigars were amazing. The drinks were good and I enjoy smoking cigars from their vast selection from their humidor. When in the a Tampa area come and enjoy.

Absolutely a must stop when in the area. Great atmosphere, drinks a wonderful. And try their house cigars as good as any that I have had.

Premier cigar bar and lounge. Excellent cocktails. Extensive bourbon selection. Massive cigar collection in a giant walk-in humidor. The ambiance is incredible, being set in an old church. Outside seating and bar area as well. A few TV's for watching games. Lot's of cozy lounge spots to enjoy a quality smoke and talk with friends. The service has always been excellent. Prices are reasonable with feature cocktails around $15. Parking gets tight but there is an available lot about a half block to the north. If you are a cigar smoker, this is one of the best spots in town!

Checked out this place today and wow! Such a beautiful building! It's a 100+ yr old cathedral turned cigar lounge with so many bourbon selections. The humidor has premium cigars, they have have great coffee. The building is gorgeous, filled with so much history. The staff is amazing, Yoel and and Adrianna were top notch, so sweet and welcoming ! Check out their house cigars and their old fashioned

Home of the cigar and the great espresso martini (and old fashioned!). It's a very smokey affair; great for cigar aficianados, a night time gathering, or post dinner night cap! Situated in a restored cathedral, the interior lounge space truly is captivating and the outdoor area is great for larger groups. I believe there's live music Wednesday-Saturday and whenever I drive by, the parking lot is packed. The cigar shop is extensive, with many options to choose from. It doesn't disappoint. Drinks- We enjoyed the Holy Grounds espresso martini which included rum and was on the darker side (no baileys or kahlua here!). It had a great crema. The cocktail list was incredible! The cocktail names were inspired by different facets of the church and the ingredients were top notch. Off the drink menu, there was a full bar which would suit anyone's liking.

Absolutely amazing spot! The building really looks like a cathedral but for cigar smokers. The humidor is grandiose like the rest of the building . Yesterday when I went they had live music to listen to while you were smoking, drinking or eating . Yes , they have a kitchen definitely was amazing being there! I would surely go back !

Great place to enjoy a good cigar. When I got there a wedding was about to start and the venue was reserved. We sat outside which was set-up really nice. Sorry I forgot our server's name but she did an excellent job. They have a great selection of cigars. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I'll be back

Best cigar shop in Florida. Ambiance is amazing. The converted cathedral with stained glass window and cool house cigars like the Bishop and Cardinal. If you are in Tampa, love cigars and awesome drink, don't miss it!

I stopped by the grand Cathedral cigar shop when they opened at 10 AM. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. The humidor is one of the best I've ever seen and well stocked. I decided to just buy the house blends because they look so good. I had coffee with the sweet Connecticut House blend. I am very impressed with quality and flavor This venue has so many different places to sit and smoke and have drinks that there is something for everyone. Eric was our helper with the cigars and drinks. Excellent service.

We made a stop today that we've been meaning to make for awhile to see the beautiful inside of this Tampa historic building that used to be a church. We walked around and were awed by the beautiful stained glass, the history depicted in photos around each little cozy corner and in stairwells. A definite go to spot for a favorite drink and/or cigar. Outdoor spaces for any type of large group. It came highly recommended and certainly did not disappoint!

What an amazing place. Both the humidor and the lounge are huge with an insanely perfect selection and very comfortable seating. They offer a full bar with top shelf and high end well options and the service is excellent. We are from out of town, and to top it all off, I forgot my 49ers hat there. When I called and spoke to the manager, he arranged shipping right away! 10/10 service and location from me and I'll be back here for sure the next time I'm in Tampa!

Grand Cathedral is a must stop for any lovers of cigars, culture, architecture, or atmosphere. Set in an old church, the outside of the building and inside renovation are stunning. There is plenty of very comfortable and elegant seating inside and a ton of space to relax with friends outside in the garden. The decor is beautiful and in keeping with an old church with ornate woodwork and gleaming hardwood floors. The drink selection at the bar is extension and the humidor is vast! You can't go wrong with any of their home rolled cigars but my favorite is the Cardinal! Definitely check this place out if you are in the Tampa area!

Not only has just been a fan favorite since we moved here but tonight these people went above and beyond for me in every way possible. I played for different varsity sports in high school and played every other sport imagine including alpine and water skiing competitively - and learned out to bike/ skate board in heels growing up.... Long story short, my husband's best friend was visiting for the weekend and I was wearing a very nice red dress and we decided last second after dinner he would come by here via Bird scooter - probably not the best idea but about 90% of the way here my spaghetti strap dress that I had rented that was incredibly nice distract decided to break off mid intersection and not even paying attention. I go to save the dress and let go of the handlebars and fall into the intersection..... Needless to say, my hands and my elbows are royally screwed ... we were about a block from here, and I insisted on coming here to clean up and figure things out - I could not have been more impressed by the staff. I'm already continually impressed with in particular Michaela was above and beyond amazing- I'm sure on the train, the spelling of her name, but could not think her and everyone else, and I start cleaning up and putting it back together- I went from Humpty Dumpty to a princess all over again. My husband and I already love the cigars and the beer and the liquor - which is all amazing but the staff is above and beyond- tonight ... they were incredible can't surprise they were great but ... cannot thank them enough for everything. Of all places in Tampa I'll miss when we move - it'll be here. Thank you guys for always being incredible in every way possible! Yes b

Awesome venue or should i say awe inspiring. The house cigar ,the "JESUIT" is a great burn if you are inclined for sweet tobacco. Hints of maple syrup on the lips after a good draw. Definitely would suggest this. Great place and people in a relaxing environment.

A great place to enjoy a cigar and have an original drink. I'm not a coffee drinker but the Resurrection is like drinking candy. Plus your choices available will have you coming back for more.
