Grand Cathedral Cigars

My husband and I visited Florida and ended up making the trip more about visiting cigar lounges then anything else we had planned. A couple of different people in different locations recommended grand cathedral cigars and we were planning to be in Tampa our last day so we made it a visit. It was incredibly cool. We highly recommend it as a stop if you’re visiting the area. If we were locals, we would become members. Super nice people both in the cigar sales area and in the bar. Really fun atmosphere make sure you take a minute to read the articles on the wall as you go down the hall to enter the bar and lounge area. The history of the building is fascinating. Kudos to the young owner with her incredible vision and making it come true.

This was my first time visiting Grand Cathedral Cigars, and it did not disappoint. We were looking for a place with a laid-back vibe but still a great atmosphere, and this spot delivered. There’s a reason “Grand” is in the name—the converted old church setting is absolutely stunning and gives the place a nostalgic, one-of-a-kind feel. The cigar selection was excellent, and the drinks were just as impressive as the ambiance. I’ve definitely found my new go-to spot for future visits. If you’re in town, this place is a must.

The bartender knew her stuff — she made a great drink recommendation and was really easy to talk to. Was there mid July and just wow! I was there during the day on a Friday so it was not too busy. As soon as I entered I was greeted by a very nice gentleman who explained where things were (humidor, washrooms, bar, lounge area) I took the time to explore their humidor before deciding on one of their house blends (The Pope). This was a great recommendation by the gentleman. The humidor was fully stocked and they also had some liqueurs (rum, bourbon,etc). The lounge part was very neat and spacious. The server/bartender was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended if you are in Tampa.

This is a cigar smoking afficianados dream come true and I traveled all the way across the nation to come here! As a fan of gold rush era 1800s architecture in Northern California, this old church hit all the right notes and the cigar selection was second to none. Arturo Fuente Jr. actually suggested I visit this place and now I know why!!! Highly recommend!

What a hidden gem! An amazing old church / cathedral that has been restored and turned into the most beautiful cigar bar / humidor! What an atmosphere! We're loving our Friday night with a nice bourbon and a Rocky Patel. 😀 A friend told us about it, and we're so glad we came! Just north from Armature Works. If you're in the Tampa area, definitely stop in! Lisandro helped us pick out a good stogie and took great care of us! We'll be back soon!

It’s got a kind of modern mystic touch—where people once prayed, now they light up cigars. And not just any cigars; they’re Arturo Fuente cigars. There’s a spectacular bar with a wide variety of cocktails, and every weekend they have live music—whether it’s guitar performances or a band playing tunes that carry the heritage of tobacco cultivation, like the old Cuban music from Cuba .This place fascinates me. It used to be a church now it’s simply a cathedral where you can have a drink, and experience lighting up a cigar. By the way, it doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to smoke Cigars! the fun is exactly in that first experience. Speaking from my own experience, haha!

This place is truly incredible. The decor and woodwork is gorgeous, the cigars excellent and the atmosphere amazing! Wish I could spend everyday here.
