Google
The room was spacious and was equipped with IoT smart devices and lighting, the bed was very comfortable, the air condition was quiet, the views of the city skyline from the windows were fantastic. The personnel was very friendly and professional. The location is good, not more than 15 minutes by car to the Marina Bay and the national orchids garden and Chinatown. About 30 minutes from Universal Studios Singapore. Highly recommended!

Food was good. Parking was an issue though, never expect to see a loading bay b4 a car park and almost turned into an exit.

Yelp
I like it!!! The location, the quality, the buffet, the service. All pretty superb. Central location only about 8 min walk to nearby subway station. Breakfast buffet in the morning has lots to choose from. The swimming pool was pretty. Staff was helpful. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
We stayed for 2 nights in March. There is no area for seating in the lobby as it is all taken up by the restaurant and bar area. It would have been nice to have a lobby with seating as we arrived early in the morning and would have liked an area where we could sit after walking around and before check in time . The service from the front desk was very professional but we found the staff to be somewhat aloof. We had a lovely room with a river view. The room is very spacious. There is a small table beside the sofa that is very handy for having drinks or writing. The bed was very comfortable and we had a very good nights sleep. The room was clean and well serviced. The hotel has numerous good sized elevators so there we never had to wait for an elevator. If you have breakfast early at 6:30 when they open none of the cooking stations are open so you will not be able to have eggs cooked or fish noodle soup cooked to order. My husband enjoyed the use of the swimming pool while we were there. There is a nice walkway that will take you to Clarke Quay, Robertson Quay and boat quay. There are many restaurants and businesses in the area.

Yelp
We were here for drinks in The Lobby Lounge on Level 1. Slow service, and cocktails were a little high at S$24++.

Yelp
I accidentally booked a room for a day that I was already staying at this hotel, basically I was just wanting to extend my stay for 2 days, and tried immediately to change it and they refused to help me in any way. I literally tried to change it 30 seconds after I realized the mistake. So, I ended up paying for a room I didn't need. ZERO understanding or help in any way. ZERO customer service!

Yelp
Singapore is home to a million hotels. We booked this through Groupon and WOW. This place is stunning. I'm upset we only had 3 days. This is a business oriented hotel. So there are many floors with seminars going on. Everyone at breakfast is wearing a button up and suit so feel free to feel uncomfortable rolling out of bed and walking down in your pajamas if you're shy. The breakfast is complimentary and runs 630am-1030am. Solid selection with American, Asian and Indian options. I absolutely love their coffee machines! You can choose anything your heart desires and it just pours perfectly ! Incredible. Chicken and waffles and the fruit selections were my favorite. The spread is really decent! The room felt small and there was only a shower; no tub. But the view was absolutely stunning. Deff would not be able to afford staying here regularly. The lunch buffet is $45 a person and the laundry service is PER item. A shirt is $18. A pair of shorts is $15. Insanely pricy. Even the gift shop is robbery. 2 keychains for $10 meanwhile you can get 6 for $5 at the market. I'm not mad at them. They're upscale and the food/service is phenomenal. Just have to be smart and eat and shop elsewhere!

Yelp
Clean room, friendly staff, great food, modern decor... not much to complain about this hotel except it is a bit on the pricey side. Worth the $ though in my humble opinion. Also, this place is practically next door to Zouk so very convenient if you plan on going to an event there and dancing all night into the morning.. you can literally just walk back to your hotel. Maybe with assistance if you drank too much ;)

Yelp
I ate breakfast at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. It was a truly international experience as I paid Singapore prices but only received the food quality and service you expect in countries that end in "___stan." It was only the second time in my life to enter the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. I assure you, it will certainly be the last.

Yelp
I really can't fault this hotel but the thing is that it isn't really the type of place that I really like, you know the ones with the huge marble lobbies and staff treating you as if you were royalty. Okay, I know, it's called customer service, but I preferred to be treated respectfully and politely, but not as if I were the Prince of Denmark. Mind you, it certainly isn't the cheapest of hotels in Singapore, but since Webjet kept of throwing up what looked like coffin hotels that I had to endlessly scroll through before I actually arrive at one that was any decent, I ended up booking it through my travel agent (and they tend to offer only the pricier hotels - such as the Hilton). It certainly was a nice hotel, though the trek to the MRT station did take while (about 10 minutes to the closest one). Sure, they are currently building one next door, but I suspect it will be a few years before it is fully operational. Anyway, it is a nice hotel, but not the type of place I really enjoy.

Yelp
Excellent customer service! Jay and the rest of the staff at the front desk were so helpful and accommodating. I was a little jetlagged when I first landed in Singapore, so I took full advantage of their pool and gym. Pool: Small and a bit crowded, even though there really weren't that many people there. The view is also a little underwhelming. Gym: Clean, bright, and sufficient for a holiday workout. The weights kind of smelled. Free filtered water provided. Rooms: Clean and spacious. There were three people in our group, and lucky me, I got the roll-out cot. Even then, the cot was still pretty comfortable. The bathroom was modern, spacious, and clean. Wifi worked well too. Negatives: You can hear construction going on in the morning. Food at the hotel restaurant: Delicious, but pricey (as expected). I had a cup of tea and a Hainanese chicken rice and my total was about US$28. You can get chicken rice elsewhere for US$5 or maybe even less, depending on where you go. Location: Not very walkable to a lot of stuff. It's located right on a river/canal, and there's a bridge you can cross to get to some restaurants, bars, and a cafe. But if you're looking to walk around at night, a taxi is your best bet. No MRT within immediate walking distance. On the bright side, it's located in a quiet neighborhood, so you don't get the traffic and bar noises like you would in other areas. Service: As mentioned initially, they were fabulous and really took care of us.

Yelp
For my first visit to Singapore, I went with the hotel that my business meeting was held in. And I got pretty much the standard business hotel experience. The meetings spaces were relatively nice, I've got to give it to them for that. The rooms were pretty unremarkable. Modern decor without much flair, a comfortable bed, poor TV channel selection. The rooms are a little worn, they could use a renovation to bring this hotel up to par with some of the other better hotels in the city. I liked the location. The waterfront was a nice area to walk/run along (albeit in the relatively constant Singapore heat). A reasonably good shopping mall was a short walk away, which was convenient. I'd stay here again for a conference out of convenience.

Yelp
I stayed here to celebrate my 3rd year anniversary with my girlfriend and the service was amazing! For starters, they gave me a free room upgrade so that our stay would be a bit more comfortable, and allowed me to check out later the next day so that we could enjoy the peace and tranquility of our room for a little while longer. At night, the service staff brought us a cake to wish us a happy anniversary, and I personally thought that was a very nice gesture on their part. So all in all, I'm very satisfied with the service aspect of this place. But going beyond that, I love their pool facilities as well. They have a main swimming pool, but to the side there's a small jacuzzi that almost no one uses so it's kind of like a private place for you to just chill and have a drink. This place is so centrally located, it's near to Robertson Quay where there are a lot of fabulous bars, and it is also close by Great World City shopping center that you won't really run out of things to do on a staycation. There's a direct bus to Orchard Road if you feel the urge to shop too. I would definitely come back here again, and recommend it to anyone who is planning a staycation.

Yelp
I think this place has good value for the price. The location is actually great bc centrally located and can walk along the river to Robertson and Clarke quay areas. Yeah touristy but nice walk and nice places for happy hour and dinner. The lobby looks pretty modern and the front desk and concierge were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was extensive and I'm in love with that coffee machine. Although I'm used to my gigantic cups of strong coffee hat problem was solved by getting a double espresso and then another cappuccino. Had Indian section most of the time. Those wadas and idlis and sambar kept me full the whole morning. Although last day broke down and had rice and egg and kimchi. The room was big but yeah a bit dated. Heard the elevator cables moving around which didn't prevent sleep but was noticeable. Bathroom had shower and tub and clean but dated with black marble. Bed was super comfortable and great black out shades. Plenty cabs and uber and fares are cheap. Used the gym a lot and had enough machines and weights etc. the only weird thing was that they had two personal trainers there and they seemed to be training residents of the city and not hotel guests. They take up a bit of space and equipment and that was kinda irritating. The pool was fine but the jacuzzi is not a hot one. So more like a tiny pool with jets. No real pool bar although u can call to get food and drinks there I think. Anyhow overall a good experience for the price. Spent the entire week there for about 1500 usd including breakfast.

Yelp
Excellent hotel. Most of the rooms have recently been refurbished and they're really pleasant and comfortable. The staff are very accommodating, especially Nish and Steven from the Club Lounge - really professional, courteous and helpful. Food is really lovely. The check-in experience was quick and painless. The extras that came with our room, like Club Lounge access, breakfast included in room rate, laundry included in room rate, was really appreciated. I would certainly recommend The Grand Copthorne Waterfront hotel.

Yelp
Unfortunately, my recent experiences here have been less than expected compared to other Millennium & Copthorne hotels. Again, the staff didn't have an understanding of their reward program. My colleague and I had to point out our status to the staff just to get the benefits that our loyalty has earned over the last 5 years. Only then did they acknowledge our presence. When I used one of my upgrades, they put me in a room that had algae or mild in the bathtub. At least that's what I assumed the green sheen that covered the white tube to be! I was so disappointed that I didn't even try to get a new room because the customer service was so bad that I expected to get a tub covered in the same black mold that filled the grout of the tile. I was traveling with several other colleagues that didn't feel their experience was any better. Can't say that I would recommend it to my colleagues or friends ever again. To top it off, they still won't credit my reward account for the nights that I stayed. Will definitely not plan or recommend to stay here again. They have a lot to learn from the people that manage their other properties.

Yelp
Nice hotel located at the singapore river. Rooms have a modern style. Sometimes the ac makes harsh noices, but i usually turn it off when i am in the room so it doesn't disturb me. For the party poeple clarke quay is not far away, around 20 min by feet. And with the water taxi, with a station directly in front of the hotel, you can have a cool new view on the city while going downtown for some siteseeing. The breakfast is really comprehensive with different kind of food from all over the world. sometimes, especially at the weekends, there are some big events in the hotel, like wedding parties and so on. With this it can be a little bit creepy walking through the floors.
