This is the 4th resort I’ve tried in Cabo and it is the best resort I’ve stayed in Cabo or anywhere else I’ve ever traveled for that matter. The rooms are beautiful, beds ridiculously comfortable, and the power of the shower and delightful fragrance of the shampoo was glorious. The staff is beyond quick to attend any request, from fabulous table service, to having a mechanic come to our room within 5 minutes of calling to fix our tv. A worker just cut the hanging coconuts from the tree for safety, then proceeded to chop one open and hand it to me with a straw to drink from. The dinner at Bodega (extra charge) was outstanding. Best filet I’ve literally ever had and the salad and octopus appetizers were to die for. Buffet breakfast was varied and absolutely delicious. The pools are refreshing, clean, and have great ledges to sit within them. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Only thing I would change is the loud disco like oonce oonce music playing at the main pool during aqua aerobics and games but even that is tolerable because the staff leading them are so funny.

My husband and I joined our friends with two young girls for a Xmas vacation. We were all very impressed with the location, food, service, and overall experience. Our friends found the kids club and babysitting service exceptional. The ocean view was unbeatable with humpback whales breaching daily!! We spent our evenings at the martini bar where Tony provided us incredible service each night! Breakfast at Península with service from Marta, Norberto, and Alanis was the best way to start the day. The in room service was also wonderful with nightly turn down and impeccably clean rooms. Really a five star experience for all of us.

We recommend this amazing family resort! Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos is one of those resorts that consistently delivers a reliable, easy, and comfortable all-inclusive experience, especially for families, couples, and groups who want a beautiful setting without the luxury price tag. It’s not ultra-modern or flashy, but it has a charm and warmth that keeps many guests returning year after year. **Rooms:** The rooms are clean, spacious enough, and comfortable, but some are definitely dated. The ocean-view and suite categories are worth the upgrade because those are the rooms that truly shine. **Food & Drinks:** For an all-inclusive resort, the food is consistently good. Not gourmet, but solid. There’s a nice variety of à la carte options, and most guests find something they really enjoy. **Service:** This is where the resort stands out. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Guests often mention that team members go out of their way to take care of you. There can be occasional slowdowns during peak times, but overall, service is a strong point. We felt like family the moment we arrived! **Pools & Vibe:** There are several pools, each with a slightly different energy, family-friendly, quiet, more social. It’s lively without being wild, and laid back without feeling boring. Because the resort attracts lots of families and groups, expect activity, kids, and a bustling atmosphere during holidays and peak seasons. **Beach:** The beach is gorgeous for views and photos, but swimming can be hit or miss. Like most of Cabo, the waves and conditions can be rough. It’s perfect for relaxing by the water, but not ideal for ocean swimmers. We did see a lot of fish in one of the coves! **Overall:** Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos is a great fit for travelers who want good value, friendly service, and a relaxed resort experience with plenty of dining options and amenities. It’s not the most modern resort, and the beach isn’t always swimmable, but the warmth of the staff, the scenery, and the all-inclusive convenience make it a very solid choice — especially for families, multi-generational, corporate incentive groups, and celebrations.

This was our second time staying here, and the Kids Club is the number one reason we chose to come back. We would like to give a very special thank you to the amazing Kids Club teachers — Birtney, Perla, Maximiliana, and Brenda. They are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely caring with the children. As parents, it meant so much to us to see how thoughtfully they interacted with our child and how much attention they gave to each child’s needs. Our child absolutely loved going to the Kids Club every day and always came back excited to share what they did. Thanks to this wonderful team, we were able to truly relax and enjoy our vacation, knowing our child was in such good hands. The level of care and warmth provided by the Kids Club is exceptional and truly sets this resort apart. For families traveling with kids, this place is an easy choice — and we will definitely be back again.

We were here for 12 nights. I am happy with almost everything. Good staff and service. When they put their hands on their heart as they greet you, very thoughtful. So far the restaurant I highly recommend is La Bodega. Even though you need to pay $30 USD PP surcharge the food was so worth it. If you are planning a trip I recommend Dec18-31 since you can watch Grey Whales multiple times a day right from the beach. clean facilities and a great gym. Not so good part- seafood restaurant cut corners when it’s busy (they served my food in a dirty dish) not many entertainment, and always short on lounge chairs by the pool and beach. Solid 8.5 out of 10.

We spent Thanksgiving week here and really enjoyed our stay. This was our first all inclusive experience so nothing to compare it to until we stay at another Cabo all inclusive soon. We were traveling with our 14 month old & 3 year old and we made some amazing memories. As of now, without anything to compare it to, we’d definitely come back and would recommend to friends and family. We enjoyed the incredible ocean view from our 6th floor family suite. It was so nice to wake up to each day and enjoy the sunrise from our balcony. The main pool was perfect for young kids. From the sushi restaurant to the cevicheria, all of the seafood options were nice to have. And we found most of the restaurants/food decent. The wait staff, housekeeping staff, bar tenders, and bell/golf staff were all so pleasant and friendly. Our toddler loved the ice cream shop, and so did we. They make all of the ice cream and sorbet and it was excellent. The 24 hour room service was so convenient and the selection was solid. We used the babysitting services and Sarah and Maria were great. They stayed in touch via WhatsApp and made us feel very comfortable. None of the bars ever had a long wait which was really nice. Most of the staff were very friendly to our kiddos. Leading up to our stay I emailed with questions a few times and always got a friendly reply back from Alicia which was very helpful for our planning. The resort is very hilly and our room was far from the main building and up a decent hill, but we actually liked the challenge of pushing our double stroller back and forth to help get some exercise in. With that said, we have some feedback to share on how they can improve. The staff were a mixed bag- the woman who checked us in was incredibly slow and barely said anything at all. Meanwhile I heard other people getting a full rundown when they checked in. Thank goodness I overheard their checkin. The info they were given was helpful. The restaurants were slow to turn tables over which caused long waits. Our table at Blu was open when we arrived and just waiting to be bussed (by the hostess), which took 30 mins. We had a 15 minute wait to get seated at Rosato but it had nothing to do with lack of tables, as there were ton. Just slow host / checkin process. Our son was over the moon about the air hockey table. Staff told us it opened at 9am so we waited from 8:40-9:05 (not easy with a 1 and 3 year old) and then when we checked back they told us it opened a 10am. The mixed messaging was frustrating and they didn’t seem to care. I’d recommend they post a sign with the hours so it’s clear and easy for guests. Poor signage- kids club was very hard to find and there was an outdated sign saying it was in the main building when it had moved way far away. Room service- most of the time it took 30-45 minutes but on our last day our breakfast took 1.5 hours which sucked. I found they tended to underestimate the time. Texting concierge- The texting service was a little wonky (some automated and some human) and I only discovered you could order room service digitally our last night. ATM- for the first time ever an ATM charged me for a transaction but didn’t give me the cash. I asked for help and a guy told me “Oh, my colleague confirmed it’s broken.” Why no sign? Beats me. I ended up having to get help from the concierge who opened up a ticket with Santander Bank. Still waiting to hear back. Not their fault it broke but my complaint (other than the lack of sign) was that their babysitters only take cash. And at $54/hour for our 2 kids, we needed a lot. The front desk was able to get me cash but charged a 10% fee to do so. With their ATM breaking and the lack of sign, that was disappointing. Babysitting- we used services in Fiji where the babysitters arrive with a key to your room so if they wanna take your kids to the kids club or on a walk, wherever, they can. Here, they do not and your bracelet is your room key so we suggested they take our kiddos out for a walk or something but they didn’t have any way to get back into our room.

I would like this to be my detailed review of the Grand Fiesta American Los Cabos. I’ve read so many reviews before we picked this one for our annual vacation and also so many recent reviews before we traveled to make sure we make the most of our trip. I had to take the time to write my most detailed review yet. Here’s why. There are parts of the resort that are truly amazing, and there are parts that aren’t. Let me break it down. Overall Verdict: It all depends on what you want out of your trip. Me, personally, would not do this again and wouldn’t recommend it. The Resort’s Location: Stunning, great views, blue waters, spectacular overall. We woke up to splendid views of the ocean and bluest of pools outside. A decent drive from the airport. Nothing too crazy. Service: Overall, a huge miss. The check-in staff who helped us check-in probably had a busy day or had multiple personality disorder. He was super nice when we checked-in. Walked me through the resort's amenities, explained the room, the location and asked us to go have lunch and return for our room to be ready. Once we returned after lunch, he was an entirely different person. He didn’t remember I checked in, was basically wondering why I was standing in his face waiting from my room. Had to clarify it a few times to make sure he got the message. For some reason, he also seemed to indicate there are fewer restaurants open for dinner than there actually was. Not sure if it was a deliberate ploy to not have crowding in some restaurants. I’ll talk about the restaurants in a minute. Our housekeeper, Lourdes, was by-far the most efficient and pleasant person among their staff. She was efficient. Cleaned our room (twice a day if you can believe it). You never knew she was there, but she was and made our stay comfortable and wholesome. We were always stocked with clean, crisp linen, and our bed was made every single time to perfection. Every single one of them, apart from the staff at the Peninsula, were rude, couldn’t give a damn about our presence, and wanted to make sure we regretted being there. We tipped handsomely throughout our trip without prejudice to make sure that was not the issue. Remember this while I dive into more details. Pool: The pool was kind of the best part. Plenty of room for everyone. Enough places to get drinks around. The towel guys were rude too, but you’re in the water by the beach. We didn’t care for much else at the time. Beach: The beach is a 10 on 10. Plenty of seats. Beautiful views. Clean and well maintained. I would not recommend staying here again. The staff killed the vibe. The restaurants are terrible, except for the Peninsula. Bad on you Costco to have this on your list. Overall rating would be a 2 out of 5.

We have made 5 trips to this resort and have already booked our trip to return next year. The property is wonderful and the food is outstanding, but the greatest thing about the resort is the staff. Everyone, from the landscapers and cleaning crew, bartenders and wait staff to the front desk and management team, all are outstanding. There is one employee I would like to put a spotlight on. That employee is Nicole who tends to the guests in the lobby. She was wisely promoted by management to this position from activities and entertainment. Although she was excellent at that job they obviously saw her potential and promoted to guest relations in the lobby. She is such a gregarious and conscientious person you can't help but feel like the most important guest there. She insured our first cabana experience was amazing and made us feel like family throughout our stay. She also made sure she knew our departure time and was there to see us off. Just an incredible staff member who must be recognized. Visit this gorgeous resort and enjoy an amazing experience! Mark & Tina.

Yelp
I absolutely loved my time at Grand Fiesta Americana last week! The staff is wonderful and the property was beautiful and very clean. The restaurants were all excellent and the food was great! I stayed in a King Solaris Room, which had a "private beach". It was ocean view and right by the adult pool. Every morning, I could see whales from right outside my room on my personal lounger. It was amazing! The room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a walk in shower and separate tub. I couldn't figure out how to work the bathtub plug, or it could've been broken, but in any case the shower was fine. There was karaoke and a Michael Jackson impersonator at the resort while i was there and all of it was a lot of fun! All of the restaurants where I ate had great food. Blu, the Gelataria, and the Steakhouse were my favorites. The Steakhouse had a flat upcharge of $30 unless you ordered from their premium menu. The $30 was worth it! I definitely plan to stay here again! Thank you Grand Fiesta Americana for showing me a wonderful time for my birthday trip!

Yelp
We come to grand fiesta American a few times a year. We usually go to the Cancun location, this trip we did Cabo San Lucas. We got our reservation through Expedia, "we usually don't" this time we did. Upon arrival the front desk person said "o see you have a king suite with ocean view. We confirmed, then he says "oh no it switched to two double beds" then proceeded to tell us we can pay 700$ 100$ per night to get the room we had already booked. This is our 3rd trip to Mexico in a year two of those times we stayed at "grand fiesta" I guess we will no longer be patrons of this hotel. It makes us very sad.

Yelp
This was our first time staying with Grand Fiesta Americana and it did not disappoint us. The property is beautiful . The service is impeccable and attentive. The restaurant options were great and the food quality was excellent and with delicious options. There were several options to choose from that were gluten free which were also delicious! Poolside was also great with views of the ocean. Oscar our poolside server was very attentive. Our villa room was by the Blu pool and had a beautiful view of the Blu Pool and ocean . We're so happy we stayed here and really enjoyed our time here.

Yelp
We decided to come to the Grand Fiesta Americana to celebrate my SO's dad's 80th Birthday, and wanted a family friendly resort, so this one fit the bill. Check-in: Once we arrived, they tagged our bags and we headed over to registration. We were offered a welcome drink and as they were going over our reservation, we were told we would be getting a double bed room (we requested a king), and if we wanted to upgrade it would be $80 a night. OR the we could attend their 'presentation' the next day and they'd upgrade us and give us discount vouchers for excursions (more on this later). We decided to go with the presentation option because why not save some money. The Room: When we first walked in, we were pretty disappointed at how old and outdated the room looked. The bed was comfy though. The whole room was dark and didn't allow for a lot of natural light. We've stayed at other resorts before, and this just felt like another run-of-the-mill 3-star hotel. The mini fridge had some drinks (beer, water and soda). The bathroom had l'occitane shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The Food: While I liked a majority of the food, it's pretty average tasting all around. It's not going to blow your mind but it's edible. The Grill by the pool was solid for quick bites like burritos and burgers. Their habanero salsa was so good, definitely spicy, and we got that with every order. The breakfast buffet was alright, we sat outside, and there were a lot of birds picking off plates from previous diners. The ceviche spot was good, but it's really small. Which felt like a theme for most of the restaurants. We ended up having to wait everywhere except for the sushi spot and italian restaurant because it's the only one that took reservations. I found the restaurant selection and menu offerings were lacking. The Service: This is where a lot of our problems with the resort stemmed from. They have dress codes for restaurants, which is understandable, but they were picky and choosy on when/who they enforced them. We were told we can't wear a hat at dinner, no problem. yet another guy was wearing a hat across from us, and when we put it back on, we were asked to take it off because of the dress code. Another restaurant we were told no swim wear, yet multiple people already sitting down had swimwear on, it made no sense to us. Aside from a handful of amazing servers like (Carlos by the Pool), we found most of the service staff to be cold and made us feel like we were a burden. This is vacation for us, we are paying good money to be here, we tipped well, and yet we still received subpar service. The Membership Presentation: This was an hour and half of my life I wish I could get back. I've been to different timeshare/membership program presentations before, so I kinda knew what to expect. After visiting the villas, we realized that's the real resort. Where we were staying, was just a like a normal a hotel, but the villas are super nice. You have access to different pools, better views, and way more spacious rooms. The sales pitch was a sales pitch but after finding out the price, we weren't interested in shelling out that kinda money, especially when our experience at the resort had been subpar. When reality set-in that we weren't buying anything, the tone of people changed, and not even a shake of the hand, and even worse, no discount vouchers which we were promised when we agreed to even do this thing. Amenities: The pool is really nice and spacious. You'll have to get out there early to claim your poolside seats and they have plenty of entertainment and poolside games to take part of throughout the day. They have one swim up bar, but it's super small. Luckily the resort wasn't super busy, and waiting for drinks was never a problem. The Gym was also a highlight. A lot of modern machines and enough to get your basic gym workouts in. The club was fun when it was themed nights. Karaoke was packed and a lot of people participating was cool. The good news is that they allow for Ubers to pick you up, so if you want to head into town, that's simple. We didn't pack sunscreen because we only did carry-ons, and our plan was to purchase it here. Well there's nothing in walking distance, so we opted for the general store on-site. The off-brand sunscreen was around $26 USD for a normal spray sunscreen or $40+ for the banana boat type sunscreens. Our fault for not bringing some or stopping at the store outside of the resort, but something to keep in mind if you are planning to visit. To sum this all up...some good, some bad, but the consensus we came to is that this is not a spot we'd rush to return to. While the people we were with made the experience better, coming to a resort should feel like a vacay, and too many parts of the experience didn't feel that way.

Yelp
I also want to add that the room service was 30 min or less every time we ordered food. It always arrived at the desired temp based on what we ordered and it tasted fantastic. Room service is 24hrs and the menu varies based on when you order. I included some photos of items we ordered.

Yelp
Amazing property, people, service and food. This is a fantastic resort, they provide excellent service and the staff a super friendly. All of the food is so good, especially the breakfast buffet. The staff at the breakfast are exceptional, the best of the best are Jose, Roberto, Cruz and Carlos.

Yelp
Great Time here but not sure about the all inclusive I feel like every time you turned around. Someone is asking for money. I was at pool getting drinks and I got a bill??? Every time I would eat. Another bill. And not for premium. Most bizarre thing I had guests join and front desk was giving them a hard time. This is a family resort. If you're looking to party. This isn't the place. Housekeep is AMAZING!!! About the only great thing here. All in all good time. Not sure I would stay here again. 2 time staying here

Yelp
Grand fiesta Americana was a successful trip for us. Both are toddlers enjoyed the stay with all its accommodations. Very delicious food and many different varieties to choose from. Cinthya Escobar receptionist was very helpful in regards to checkin. I'd recommend it if you're looking for an all inclusive and budget friendly.

Yelp
Our flight was delayed, so we arrived a little late to the resort. The ocean view room that I booked would have been better, had we arrived earlier, but we weren't complaining! Michelle got us checked in and answered all of our questions...we had many! She was very sweet, and helped us plan our activities. This resort has golf carts to take you to your room and restaurants. Just dial "0", tell them your room and within 2 minutes they arrive at your door. I'm pretty sure we hit all the restaurants on the resort. They were all delicious, with impeccable service. We were at the pool and wanted tacos, which weren't on the menu, but Adrian made it happen! They were very tasty! And service was top notch. All staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful. The grounds were meticulously cared for. Our suite was clean, fridge was fully stocked at all times, beer, soda, water, snacks, and the view was so relaxing! Of all the resorts that we have been to in Cabo, we think Grand Fiesta Americana is the best. We will definitely be back with the family!

Debi A.

Yelp
Daughter was married there last weekend. Cannot say enough good things about this resort and how perfect everything was! Shout out's to Nelsey our wedding coordinator on site, Jimena our off site coordinator, Roberto and Jose our breakfast servers daily, Alicia Romero concierge, and Jorge the golf cart master. Our content creator, photographer and DJ were awesome too!! If you want extra details or pics please DM me. Exceeded our expectations!!!

Booked them last minute. They were on the ball. Communication was top notch. A phone call morning of. Showed up early. Stayed ahead of schedule. Food was fantastic! Would absolutely use again.

Yelp
Unfortunately there's a word limit here and I already gave the full scoop (which I was going to copy here) and uploaded pictures to TripAdvisor, so here's the link: www.tripadvisor.ca/ShowUserReviews-g152515-d317460-r952791908 One thing I can't update/edit in my TripAdvisor review, without deleting and reposting everything and recaptioning the photos, is that now that I'm really studying the map (and I guess that's on me for not pre-researching on top of organizing and packing everybody's stuff ), the only thing I really wanted to hit up locally was Costco. I don't even take my kids to Costco locally so I didn't feel like going on an adventure where we wouldn't buy anything anyway. I suppose I could have booked excursions, but after two attempts at the airport to sell us supposedly discounted tour packages, I didn't feel like exerting the effort or spending more money.

Yelp
We Love being members here! Impeccable service -Bryan at the pool -Paulo in concierge services Food is spectacular at Rosato! Breakfast buffet is fresh and delicious with a bountiful selection of many international flavors. Sure to please every palate. The new gelateria is awesome! Delicious with lots of flavors. So many great things happening here and we can't wait to return in October! Highly recommend and consider becoming a member, the benefits are better than you'll get elsewhere.

Yelp
Pros- -Nice resort -Great food -Great service -nice beach and you can go in the water, you can see big fish. Having a swimmable beach is less common in Cabo from our experience and research -our AC worked well -delicious ice cream shop included for all inclusive Cons- -slow service at some of the restaurants even with reservations. 45 min into a meal and only had gotten bread, not even any appetizers we ordered (steak house) -rooms lack drawers in comparison to other standard rooms -rooms lack proper lighting, like they need 3 more lamps, and some overhead lighting. Even the ceiling fans don't have a light, that would help -As of November 2024 they require dinner reservations so it's an unpleasant long line every day to handle that, wish they would change this!! Not fun to have to spend an hour or more dealing with this or you have to bribe a concierge to do this for you it seems??? I don't like this system. First come first serve was better and reservations for select places but not all of them. -no coffee shop included as with most all inclusive resorts. They have a Starbucks but you have to pay, and otherwise only black coffee. -the main pools are not warm, if you try to go in the pool in the afternoon you will be cold. We have come here on 2 occasions and the pool temp wasn't comfortable. The pools in the members areas are warmer but the staff claim the larger pools (empty mind you bc they are cold) that people complained they are too warm?! Makes no sense. -in a standard room with 2 beds we found the beds too small, but for having 4 people it was like the default room choice, but it's hard to sleep, and we are not large people. Would recommend this place, please change this reservation requirement for restaurants. I see people getting a little help from staff but not others. Mind you they only have 1 person working the line, with a guy sitting right next to her on his cell phone not doing anything. They make the line take longer by asking questions about allergies, and if you are celebrating anything, they can handle this later to speed up the line. When people are getting upset they refuse to add extra staff. They could have 3 people there working on this paper list!

Yelp
Thanks for a relaxing week. Grand Fiesta Americana is a larger size resort. The layout is a little confusing, but there were always a cart near by to take you around. The staff are so kind and hard working. I felt welcomed and showered with greetings at every corner. If there was anything I needed, someone was quickly on it. Carlos at the front desk upgraded our room to an incredible ocean view. We saw many whales anytime we were sitting on the balcony. There are several restaurants around the property. The menus don't always indicate vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free but we were always asked about allergies and dietary needs at seating and again when ordering. The buffet was not always clear on labels either. However, I'm sure if you wanted something adjusted, it would be done. I do hope the hotel will improve on labeling items on the menus. My favorite restaurant was Peninsula for breakfast, La Cevicheria for lunch, and La Mexicana for dinner. Drinks were great! Frozen drinks are made fresh in blenders and I appreciated it. No gross frozen drink makers at these bars. There wasn't much of a selection for entertainment. There were some activities during the day and live music at night on certain nights (Elvis and Michael Jackson impersonators). The Moulin Rouge show was fun and only an hour long. I did go snorkeling, that's a free activity worth checking out. There is a clinic and gym on site if needed. The gym has a great view. It's a small gym but it was never full. The clinic is tucked below the gym near a set of stairs. I didn't need it but was glad available. The life guards on the beach also provided medical assistance for minor cuts or other medical needs. The rooms are clean and taken good care of. There was some sloppy paint and repairs but it's no big deal. There was some work being done around the property and constructing next door. There were times during the day when the noise was annoying. We did report some of the tripping hazards when the manager walked around asking for feedback. I noticed one example was taken care of and I'm glad no one was hurt. Thanks for listening and putting action to words. The resort is clean and scrubbed often. The bathrooms and kitchen sparkle. I always saw staff working hard to keep things clean and tidy. I didn't have any concerns about getting sick on this trip. Most of the restaurants were open air and people were spread out. Water was provided in rooms, during meals, and available at all bars. Stay hydrated, friends. Thanks for a relaxing week and your hospitality.

Yelp
I found a huge cockroach on the second night here, and then another cockroach the next morning, that's two roaches in the span of seven hours, then on the third day's afternoon, I found a scorpion in the restroom, I told the staff at the front desk about it, and I was slapped with a dismissive "oh yea the cockroaches/scorpions are everywhere here at Cabo", and that they will send someone to clean the room, no apologies or any offers of compensation were given, I also had massive diarrhea on the third day and all the food I have eaten for the first three days are from this resort.. the rooms are outdated, sometimes service is great sometimes it's horrible, I will definitely not stay here again.

Yelp
This place from check in, service and transportation has been amazing. They clean your rooms two to three times a day and leave clean goals and turn down your bed. The customer service at each restaurant has been too notch and Karen at the pacific was by far our best and Jose and Bryan at the bikini bar. Karen, Karen, Karen is by far the best. We have stayed at other resorts in Cabo but we will be back.

Yelp
I'm having my wedding at Gran Fiesta in November, so I went for the menu tasting a few days ago and met with my wedding planner Nelsy, the bar manager Zabdiel and the sou chefs. I highly recommend this hotel's team for weddings. Zabdiel knows his spirits and drinks like a true expert. His passion for handcrafting wedding drinks is so evident. His cheery and friendly demeanor set the tone for the menu tasting. The chef's preparation and presentation of the dishes I chose were a true work of art and soooo delicious!!! We are so excited and looking forward to our wedding ceremony and reception!!

Yelp
I booked through Costco, the All-Inclusive package. As soon as we stepped foot in the lobby to check-in, they laid on the "ICK" factor right away. No one wants to start their hard-earned vacation with those vibes. They start with the hard timeshare sell right away. It is almost as if they did not want to give us the room keys until we agreed to go to the timeshare. They reasoned that we would eat breakfast anyway, so we might as well listen to the presentation. They even presented us with unreasonably inflated excursion prices that would be discounted in our favor if we just attended the timeshare presentation disguised as a tour of the property. (Book your excursions through the Costco Transcabo folks. We got a 2-for-1 deal on the Amigos ATVs.) The property IS massive and beautiful. However, there are features that make your vacation feel "extra-icky." In addition to the above-mentioned hard press for the timeshare, first thing in the morning guest run out to the pool and reserve chairs around the pool area. No one is sitting in them, mind you. But, because they have towels around them, no one else can sit in them either. ICK! I have been to many other resorts and cruises where the properties and /or cruise manages this a lot better than Grand Fiesta Americana does. It just adds the extra ICK factor to your vacation. Also, room service took forever. When I called to follow up after 90 minutes, no one answered the phone. The cleanliness is also suspect. There were dust bunnies in the corners and the ceilings of my room. I could tell that the mirror had not been cleaned or wiped in a while. I spilled coffee on the room table 2nd day there. Three days later, the coffee stain was still there. If you are like me and you're booking at the Grand, Fiesta Americana, you're probably not rich. My advice would be to manage your expectations or spend a few more dollars of your very hard-earned money to find a place where you feel comfortable and respected and welcomed. The food is mid at best. You're not getting great authentic Mexican food here. So get that notion out of your head right now. Yes, the views are gorgeous. The beach is very rocky and while it is beautiful, it is pretty much unswimmable. It is like the old saying goes, "All that glitters is... ICK!"

Yelp
If I could give this review 3.5 stars I would maybe even slightly higher. Food was pretty good considering it's an all inclusive. I enjoyed many of the restaurants and pools. Service was perfect as well no complaints there. Overall the hotel was just a bit dated for my style although it was clean. We rented a solarium room right infront of the sand. I hung out there a lot and got bitten a lot. Not sure what the bites were but pretty sure it was from the sand on the patio or just plain old mosquitoes. If I went back I would probably opt for a different room type. Overall this hotel was a solid choice for an all inclusive but I probably would stay somewhere else next time.

Yelp
Cabo is one of our fav Mexico locations. This resort was not our fav. There was a $600 hold on our room which we have never had to pay at any other all inclusive. There are multiple pools-but no music at the pool! The adult pool has a built in bar, but it's so small, it takes forever to get a drink. The gym is very small and not very "resort" like. There is a "club" on site. We went to the club and there were rows of seats set up. We asked what was happening that evening-thinking maybe there was some sort of performance-but there was nothing scheduled, so the club set up was really pointless. We were disappointed in the ambiance of this resort all around. The best part of this resort was the snorkeling, you can rent the gear for free and go at any time. The food was also pretty good. The view from the room was also breathtaking. I'm not one to leave negative reviews-but I really feel like these are things I wish I had known ahead of time.

Yelp
Property was clean and in fantastic shape. Service was exceptional. Appreciate the friendliness of the staff.

Yelp
I'm a fan of the hotel chain, usually in the Yucatán peninsula, but this was pretty amazing. The rocks around the beach make it nice and comfortable to lounge on the pebble sand and let the waves hit you gently. The food is top notch, go with the all inclusive type, it's so worth it. The hospitality is one of the best out there, very attentive. Ashly at the spa was one of the great. The resort is massive, with tons of stairs so be prepared, it's in the hills but it's gorgeous. There is golf carts that take you where you need to go so no need to fret. There is four different pools, and the food options are pretty wide.

Yelp
This is a huge facility, I love that there's always golf carts available. As always service is right on point there are several restaurants where you will find something to eat, there a Starbucks on site with limited options, coffee was delicious, as a bonus for all inclusive you get pastries and coffee for free. There's direct access to the beach, there's areas where you can swim and there's all types of fish, it was pretty cool, the hotel has snorkeling goggles to rent for free! Rooms were fine, no issues with our rooms, we stayed in a villa and it was amazing. I sure enjoyed the jets in the tub I have no complaints about food because everywhere I went I always found something to eat, do all inclusive it's so worth it.

Yelp
My first time in Cabo and I was super excited to see what Grand Fiesta had to offer! I knew I wanted an all-inclusive resort as to make the trip seamless and easy. We booked our vacation through Costco Travel for reference. -- CHECK IN -- We checked in the evening and the bellman immediately helped with our bags. The guest services agent was super friendly and informed us the all-inclusive package included 24hr room service, the in-room mini bar, and all food and drinks with the exception of Starbucks, one restaurant and premium menu items. We had the option of a welcome drink and chose a refreshing glass of sparkling wine. After checking in, we took a golf ride cart (very bumpy) and was escorted to our room - super exciting and fun way to start off your trip! --THE ROOM -- We stayed in a double room on the first floor with a garden view. The room was spacious and more than enough room for luggage. Since we arrived at nighttime, when we woke up we realized our "garden view" actually overlooked the ocean from afar, which was bright blue and glistening! It is still a garden view though, and on some days you could see people stretching right outside your room and the gardener mowing the lawn in the mornings. There's a nice patio you can sit out and admire the resort/view as they provide two chairs, but our room was really so close to everything and a bit too public. As another review said, there are carts that roll all times of day, even at nighttime (3, 4, 5 am etc.) that are very loud. You can clearly hear people outside your door that are walking past and I'm sure they could hear you too. I'm not sure if this is just a first floor issue, but bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. The bathroom was standard - came with a tub and a shower. However, the water pressure in the shower was extremely weak which was disappointing. We also adjusted the temperature in the room since it was a bit too cold, but it doesn't work as it just stays at the same temperature that's probably controlled by the resort. There were also a few bugs/insects we found in the room (like 3) so try to keep the sliding door closed. Otherwise, the room was fine and super close to everything (lobby, pool, bars, etc.). -- FOOD & DRINKS -- I actually loved all the food at Grand Fiesta. My favorite by far was Blu! Pro tip - at the beginning of your stay make a plan of all the places you want to try since some places close on random days. We also enjoyed La Cevicheria by the pool and the breakfast buffet! The ambience and the design of all the restaurants is beautiful. We were able to walk up to every restaurant and get seated right away. Drinks can be overly sweet and light on the liquor so if you want to be drunk, order shots! You can find a bar at almost every turn during daytime, but the main one is the lobby bar that is open until 11PM. -- POOL -- There are multiple pools that are next to each other, but we mostly found ourselves at the adults-only pool (they have a swim-up bar!). I do wish the pools were a bit more heated since it was a bit cold for my liking. All pools are not deep enough for swimming more-so for splashing around and lounging lol. We did not have trouble finding a pool chair on the weekend. I will say to avoid the day-beds even though they are so cute and comfy. I'm not sure how often they clean them considering I ended up with 10 severe bug bites just from the day-bed. -- OVERALL -- Overall, I had a great time at Grand Fiesta. The service was amazing everyone was so friendly, the hospitality was exceptional. Once the weekend was over it did feel like 80% of the guests had left (i.e. restaurants were empty with maybe 2 or 3 other parties at 8PM). The website needs some work because it does glitch a lot and is not super user-friendly, it works though. We had no problem taking ubers into town, just make sure to give your room number as there are security points driving into the resort. Thank you Grand Fiesta for the amazing first time in Cabo!!!

Yelp
This is not a 5 star resort by any means. We booked a king bed room. The toilet leaked water, the shower tiles were messed up, the plug for your phone is hard to find by the bed, the room floor had sand on it upon arrival, the shower door wouldn't stay closed no matter how many times we closed it while showering, you hear the carts rolling by in the morning, and the room overall was seriously outdated. One time I went to the excursion desk (next to the concierge trying to purchase an excursion. She told us we need to wait for a guy to charge our card. We waited and waited. I waited for 45 minutes and halfway thru the lady we were told to wait by took a call and stepped away, saying she'd be right back my bf went to the room, came back, still saw me waiting there, and he went to the concierge desk to sort it out. Service by the adult pool is horrible. The guys do not come and ask if you'd like to order anything. Also, all the pools in the resort are SOOOOO hot its like a bath. We went to Peninsula after seeing a banana split on the menu for lunch, we get seated, we try to order, and they said our deserts are currently unavailable. Then why is it on your menu?! You need to take a golf cart to go to one of the restaurants and the golf cart never comes by. The pool chairs are mostly surrounded by sand. This is so annoying. Anytime you want to go in the pool, you are treading sand into the pool. It feels gross. Also, there's fire ants in the sand. Why isn't it just cement?!!??! Sand and pool do not go together. Every time you go back to your room, your feet are sandy, and you tread sand into your room. The mini fridge never gets restocked in your room. The gelateria runs out of a lot of flavors of ice cream by 4 o'clock (not that they have many flavors to begin with.) We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but the buffet room where you pick up your food is BOILING hot. Kind of makes it hard to get food, also the doors are wide open, so flies come and sit on the food (yum!) I called for room service around 9:30 pm, and they didn't answer. Tried again, five minutes later, and again no answer. 10 minutes later I called again, I tried to order just a hot tea to the room, and the lady says it will be about 45 minutes to an hour. Are you kidding me?! Also, the pools are often very quiet and have no music playing. It kind of sucks, I wish I brought a speaker. Oh one more thing, a lot of the elevators in this resort are either slow or broken. They are also very small and hot. The best restaurant here is Blu (although I haven't tried the Argentinian steak house). Besides that, there isn't much good to say here. I am shocked how this came up as a 5 star resort, it's below average.

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Fck this place. AI is NOT all inclusive here, it's ALL inconvenient! Want to eat dinner, take a golf cart. Want to go to the pool, take a golf cart. Want to get a drink, take a golf cart or order room service want wait and wait and wait. Wife in wheelchair and refuse to accommodate. Getting to the pools is extremely difficult, only one ramp to one of the pools. If you are in a wheel chair you are not able to accesss all of the pools. If you have friends here, they cannot come pick you up. Charge $10 just to leave the hotel parking lot. Rooms of which I got two bedroom suite and was "all inclusive" but it took three days before they ever stocked the room with drinks. Multiple calls to the desk. The room service is a horrible wait and expect to get 80-90% of what you ordered and for it to be cold. When the storm came, the room flooded, hell the whole hotel flooded in various parts. Celing was coming down in the hallwayss, rooms and stores. VERY POORLY BUILT! Restaurants were constantly being closed, over all just a bad experience that got worse each day we were there. NEVER GOING BACK, HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STAY FAR AWAY. Hilton La Pacifica was hands down better. Very much far and above in every way.

Yelp
The customer service here is so amazing! We stayed here with all inclusive and everyone is so attentive! A lot of restaurants to choose from, from breakfast lunch and dinner! 100/100 recommend

Yelp
The best 50th birthday celebration I could ask for. The activities team went above and beyond! My mother and I have been vacation club members for 20 years. The Club Member Concierge & Activities Team made this such a special occasion! A special shout out to Nicole & Brenda on the activities team that checked on my mom & I during the hurricane while there. Customer Service is what makes a good vacation a great one. You all exceeded my expectations. Memories are priceless & last forever. These will always be some of my favorites... . Jackelyn & Peggy Speer

Yelp
Booked a stay at the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos for my friend's bachelorette party weekend and had a blast! The view from the rooms is absolutely gorgeous (we stayed in the villa suites) and the restaurants are top notch! We most enjoyed the Italian restaurant, which has a more upscale feel than the rest of the resort. Room service was wonderful and all of the staff was more than accommodating - they even have golf cart shuttles to take you around the resort if you're too tired to walk. There are several pools and jacuzzis, and the beach is a mere steps away. There are plenty of lounge chairs and cabanas to help you enjoy your stay. Would recommend Grand Fiesta to anyone in a heartbeat. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
[Out-of-Towner Review] A mixed bag of feelings with this all-inclusive. We liked it well enough, but probably not enough to come back. It made us realize we need to do more research when booking an all-inclusive in MX. We've now stayed in Cabo, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta and they all have their differences, which helps to compare against one another. The check-in process was a little longer than it should have been. But after the actual checking in, our concierge took his time telling us all about the discounted adventures we could go on - ATV, horseback riding, whale watching on a catamaran, etc. After he told us the discounted price versus the regular price, he dropped the bomb that we could only get the discount by attending a 90-minute breakfast presentation (aka a timeshare selling situation). My parents did it. The prices for adventures dropped dramatically, so it was worth it for us. We booked all three adventures, which you had to go to a special office to do so. Then you tell the company's and adventures you want to partake in, then they call them to check availability. Also, some are part of cash payments and some credit payments. it really is a weird scheme they run in Cabo. We had a basic room with one huge bed. We enjoyed our room. We didn't spend too much time in there, but the maid service was always on point, besides noticing we kept asking for a fourth towel and they always left us with three. The mini-fridge was stocked with canned soda and beer, bottled water, chips, Oreos, and a Nature Valley bar. Sometimes they'd restock the goodies, sometimes it would day another day. They also left two smaller bottles of water in the bathroom and a huge liter bottle water in the main area. Is sketchy water in MX still a thing? They have tons of pools here - an adult-only, a sports pool, and then one huge pool that overlooks the ocean. However, there are not enough loungers to people, so you have to get up extra early and put towels or belongings on the chairs to save them for later. We learned the hard way and couldn't find anywhere to sit our first day. We LOVED the towels, they are huge. They cover a full lounger. The lower pools were cooler when we went since they are doing maintenance on them and weren't keeping them warm. The adult pool with the swim-up bar was warm. The best is that since there are rocks all around the pools, you'll find iguana friends everywhere. While I was terrified of them, they are fun to look at and see sunbathing throughout the property. Also, it should be mentioned this property stills on some hilly terrain, so expect steps and uphill walking during your stay. The Lobby is on the top and then you go down to all the rooms, which seems so counterintuitive to most other hotels. The food! Ugh, I'm reviewing via their actual Yelp pages, but it's definitely hit or miss. My suggestion is to go to Blu or Rosato (the Italian restaurant). Avoid the steakhouse and the extra $30 charge. I didn't hit up the night club on the property either. They always have random events and stuff going on at the hotel. I didn't partake but I did stumble upon a Christmas tree lighting ceremony and a huge pinata celebration outside of our hotel room. They also had a candy cart out in the lobby and it had American and Mexican candies to grab. They also have a coffee cart that they stock in the AM, but take it all away after that. The gym is okay. Better than most. They have a Smith squat rack, but they also have an extra barbell to lift too. Men's only, of course. They had all the different types of cardio machines and a couple strength machines. They have these other machines I've never seen before, they use pulley systems for movements. Thank goodness they have a video to watch how to use these machines, plus the machines also have a couple of pictures to emulate. We did not partake in the spa, but they did say if you book after 6 PM you would get 20 minutes free. That was cool, we just didn't have much time to fit one in our schedule. The beach that you have access too is okay. The sand is coarse, but the view is still pretty. The water was somewhat warm, but the walk down is easier on the left-hand side (if you're facing the ocean). The cabanas cost extra, but the loungers are free. They had some with cushions, my fave, and some regular. We'd come out here around 4:30 PM when the sun was hidden by the pool, to get the bits of sun. Overall, we probably wouldn't stay here again, but we didn't hate our vacation here. It had everything we needed, but it just wasn't our favorite and it missed the mark for the cost. I'm glad we tried it, but we will be looking for a new spot on our next vacation. A warm Cabo Christmas is a must...

They were so friendly and everything was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend them for a family vacation

Yelp
My girlfriends surprised me with a trip to Cabo San Lucas as a graduation present -- and they ended up choosing Grand Fiesta as our all inclusive resort. In general, the staff at this resort were not as friendly or accommodating. I mean, we would run into some sweet employees but the consistency in 'resort-type-service' was definitely missing. It's a huge property with several restaurants, a night club, and even a spa on site. The food was not the best but I'll review those restaurants on their own Yelp page. Back to the resort, our room was small and very standard. When my girlfriend made the reservation, she paid extra for an ocean view room and we certainly did not have much of a view of the water. In fact, there was some construction taking place at the nearby golf course which blocked the water even more with all of the equipment. The shower in our room had very low water pressure and the toilet often made a ringing sound that was noticeable -- I assume there is a plumbing issue on that side of the property. There is a swim up bar and two large pools to enjoy but the beach is not as accessible (or safe for that matter). For what my girls paid, I would suggest to stay at another resort on that strip.

Yelp
First day here and already dissatisfied. I booked a "luxury" ocean view double room. Not luxurious at all and the view of the ocean is minimal . Plus, the room was kinda dirty. Room service was meh. Burger was good, but fries were soggy (I'm going to pretend the guy didn't cough in my room when he dropped off the food.). Anyway, the solution they offered was for me to PAY extra for a full ocean view? WTF! So you want me to pay more money for something I already paid for? Wow! Horrible customer service.

Yelp
4.5/4.75 stars My boyfriend and I had a brief period of time to escape from snowy Colorado and wanted to get to warm and sunny beaches and after thorough research, selected the Grand Fiesta Americana (all-inclusive). Food & Drink - Unlike most all-inclusives, the food was absolutely fantastic. Truly - Blu was our favorite spot, followed up by the Cevicheria, Rosato and Vina Del Mar, but we never had a bad meal, not even room service. For specific food recommendations - the filet & artichoke bread at Blu is a must, the lasagna at Rosato, and we literally ate Fish tacos & tuna tostadas at Cevicheria every single day by the beach. We had great, freshly made gyoza at Peninsula at night, along with fantastic espresso martinis at the lobby bar with the most amazing view. Pina Coladas were great, there was also a decent amount of alcohol options - malibu, grey goose, 1800, etc. Lots of beer options and the water was completely safe to drink, but they have water bottle as well. My only suggestion for the resort would be to have a few simpler desserts available - there were many fancy desserts - NOTE: the key lime pie at Cevicheria is the best dessert on the resort, but we were oftentimes looking for a cookie, or brownie, but couldn't find any at dinner. Beach - The chairs and umbrellas at the beach were our go to morning spot - every day, for at least a few hours, to read, but our feet in the water, feed some algae to the colorful fish and we saw whales, multiple whales, EVERY single day. Mostly from the beach or the cevicheria restaurant, but occasionally from the pool looking out at the beach or from the lobby bar. Views - The views everywhere were incredible, but to note, the view from the Lobby bar at a table by the windows was my favorite spot in the entire resort. HIGHLY recommend coming here for a pre or post drink to soak it all in. Crowds - Given COVID, the resort wasn't crowded, which was actually really great. Everyone wore masks safely, hand sanitizer was everywhere and they took temperatures every morning at breakfast. The COVID test taking process was super easy as well. Pools - The pools were a great temp, clean, well staffed, music at the big pool was the best of all the locations and the drinks were great. They didn't seem or feel watered down and I didn't feel like they were too strong either. Staff - Every single staff member, even if it was just in passing, was kind, said hello, everyone was safe and masked, super helpful and I would (and will) highly recommend this resort to friends and family. Massages - Even with COVID, the spa was relaxing, safe, they got us great iced tea, and Veronica gave a wonderful Swedish massage - the hour passed way too quickly. I didn't do this myself, but there's even an option to get a massage outside, should you want to. Room - This is the only reason for 4.75 not 5 full stars. We were in, I think, the basic ocean view rooms - the bathroom is the best part, the granite floors were great, shower was waterfall and temperature and pressure were awesome. The AC was a bit finicky - some nights worked great, other nights not as much. The bed was also a bit uncomfortable, but was still a true King which was nice. The staff that cleaned our room did an exceptional job, even organized our shoes, kept our fridge stocked, and it was always great to come back to a clean room. A few important shout outs for the impressive staff: Sele took care of us every morning at Vina del Mar and made delightful conversation with us, Alex took care of us by the beach at Cevicheria, remembered us our and drink preferences. Elizabeth & Carlos took wonderful care of us at Blu. Bryan by the pool was quick and attentive by the large pool and Cesar and Miriam took great care of us at the Adult pool. Ultimately, we loved our trip, had a fantastic time and will recommend all come here!

Yelp
Mostly our stay at the hotel is nice. But the following I do want to bring out: The servers at the lobby bar, compared with other bars, they are kind of rude. Every time we asked for drink, they looked kind of unhappy. Also the service at the sushi restaurant, we only ate there once. We only ordered one coke and one Piña Colada, until we finished eating everything, we didn't get our drink. I complained when we left, the waiter just said something wrong about the blender... We recommend Blu for lunch, very good service and food. Dinner is kind of slow. Kids club is nice, the place is kind of old, need some upgrades. But the stuff are very nice to kids and professional The whole resort is kind of outdated, you can tell, but most of stuff there are friendly.

Yelp
Horrible place they sell timeshares here n lie about everything being free don't be scammed!! . Food is high school lunch pretty much. Kids wouldn't even touch the fries. came here to support family. Other than that family was all together which made it a lot better. N close friends. Don't come here if unless want to experiences horrible food. N many sales pitches. Also had a concierge drive us back to our rooms. Omg I thought I was going to lose my kid. Drove so fast my kid almost fell off. Thank goodness we were close by. I was sitting in the back almost fell off took turns to fast. Worst experience ever. If you see a tall slender man with curly hair stay away hazard driver. Does not like his Job

Yelp
I stayed on the lower floor and through out the night there's a loud food and beverage cart getting push like every 2 hours. They should really put like rubber wheels on it, I couldn't get a good night sleep only when I was drunk. Service is a 5 star!! Food was a 3 star. I'll come back but please give me a room that they don't roll the cart back and fourth.

Yelp
We planned a quick little five day get away from California and Cabo was perfect. Came to this resort and did the all inclusive. Overall, the resort is lovely and they are constantly cleaning it due to covid-19. I noticed at the bar area when someone leaves they are busy sanitizing and there is hand sanitizer throughout the resort. The employees are polite and helpful. They wear their mask and there's hand sanitizer throughout the property. There are plenty of choices for food that comes with the all-inclusive. I especially enjoyed the little outdoor restaurant that was on the beach that served the fish and shrimp tacos. They also have amazing fried squid/calamari calamari. They do have a few premium restaurants that are not included with all exclusive. We did try the steakhouse and it wasn't a big deal to me. Beware from the moment you arrive to the airport until you're actually at your hotel they will try to get you to buy a timeshare which they call something else nowadays. Not trying to be negative but just beware and just a heads up. Honestly, I'm coming for a vacation and not to be sitting somewhere for 90 minutes (it's actually longer) listening to a presentation. It is utterly annoying and in my opinion a straight up scam. Anything that sounds too good to be true is a suspicious. They are extremely aggressive and they tell you that you have to make up your mind right then and there or that deal will not be honored later on. Hubby, doesn't mind and is open to listening because they do offer free stuff to entice you. I selected a massage at the spa . I was given a spa voucher and was told that it was fully booked for the next two days and that was during the time that we were leaving so we wasted our time. Lol! Getting back to the resort it's on the beach and I highly recommend that you get a beach front room. The beach view is amazing. We were told that the water was too dangerous to swim in and even if you go in at ankle length you should be careful because the tides are strong. Was told this by the locals . However, I did see very little guests in the water. At first I decided to go to the beach but then I noticed no one was there. I was straight up spooked since I'm not the best swimmer . So I decided to admire the beach from a distance which is hard because I'm an island girl. They did have a pool and Hot tubs but I didn't want to take my chance with covid since it was crowded. They offer free covid testing at the hotel which is required before before heading back to USA. It's the nasal method where the go deep. Yikes! Back to the beach the water is clear and blue . Due to covid there are no cruise ships so the whales are near to admire . An added plus is that hotels are not filled to capacity so it's great not to be in a crowded setting. The rooms in the hotel are pretty much clean and comfortable. They do have villas which are perfect for families .My only issue were the pillows. There was a mixture and some were hard and some were soft. They have a mini bar / refrigerator that has treats, water, and drinks that are complimentary. Some of the treats that they have are peanut m&ms, Oreo cookies and chips. The beverages are orange fanta, water, coke, diet coke, and more . They even had Corona beers and light beers. They knock on your door daily and restock. They also bring you a bottle of complimentary champagne daily. I only got one bottle and didn't request more because I'm the only one that drinks. However, with the all-inclusive they have a variety of drinks that are complementary. I enjoyed mimosas and margaritas which were great. On some nights they have entertainment outside. We got to watch authentic folklorico dancers. I especially enjoyed the Mexican coffee. It was phenomenal. There's also a Starbucks on the property. It's not part of the all inclusive but with a beverage purchase they give you a complimentary pastry. I chose the bagel with cream cheese and salmon. Overall, we enjoyed our visit at Cabo and would come here again.

Yelp
Breathtaking property! Amazing all inclusive. Excellent food choices - everything from super fresh ceviche, upscale Mexican, Italian, sushi, and grill favorites. Lots of pools, beach front! All units are excellent, the beach is nice with direct access to miles of golf course trails. Safe. High quality drinks. Very clean!

Yelp
Without a doubt, I had a fabulous experience here at grand fiesta! Tip: do not get sucked into the sales people at the airport that's trying to help you! They are NOT trying to help you, in fact they are just trying to waste your time! I kindly declined their offers, but was bombarded with more sales people! With that said, you will be receiving phenomenal service from point a to point b! From the airport to the resort, it took 40 Minutes! It is an all inclusive resort, which means everything is included, but I would highly suggest you take some dollar bills. Everyone is beyond friendly and you literally want to tip every single person you meet! I was pleasantly surprised at how great the service from everyone! Everyone greeted me with a sweet hola! And some even recognized my face and would say "happy to see you back!" If you are debating on whether to come here! Be sure to check this location out! It is totally worth a visit!

Yelp
We had a great 4 night stay at the GFA! The staff was wonderful and we had only good encounters with them. They were all very sincere and ready to help. Our room was a good size and had a balcony with a nice view of the ocean and the pools. We ordered room service for breakfast one morning and sat outside. The bathrooms are clean, although a little bit more old fashioned in style. It does have a rain shower, so that's a plus. The staff cleaned our room at least twice a day and kept it stocked with toiletries and beers, sodas, waters, and snacks for the fridge. Overall the food was good. We did not like The Grill or the Penninsula much, but the Ceviche Bar, Rosato, Mexicano, and Vina Del Mar had so many good options. The breakfast buffet at Vina Del Mar had an omelette station, the usual breakfast fixings, a seafood/sushi station, a juice/mimosa bar, and a huge selection of hot Mexican dishes. I loved the mini quesadillas! Try the tuna tostadas at the ceviche bar. I went back for them a few times. You can also order them from the pool area and they'll bring it to you. Sadly, we didn't get a chance to try Blu as it was either closed or full on the nights we tried to do but I heard good things about it from other guests. The beach here is not swimmable and the sand is painful to walk on but it's great for snorkeling! Equipment can be borrowed from the pool security stand. Just three steps into the water and you'll see huge fish swimming around your legs! Go a little further and there are so many different kinds! WiFi worked well almost everywhere on the resort, including the beach.

Yelp
It was my first time in Cabo and this resort did not disappoint! We got a huge 3 bedroom suite that overlooked the city and had a personalized jacuzzi. Room service was great and food was decent. I'd go again!

Yelp
I'm a little behind on writing my review we stayed here last month and honestly I wasn't blown away. I had high hopes but this place was quite a disappointment. Check in process was good the girl helping us was very friendly and accommodating. She got us a nice villa in which the room had better amenities. The room was nice and big, the bed was comfy. I liked the living room and separate bedroom. I loved the nice big closet however the polish or whatever the smell of the closet was awful it left a really strong odor on my clothes. No issues with the room there was a cockroach in our bathroom one night but other than that it was good nothing that was over the top. The fridge was always stocked but we never really drank any of the soda or the snacks just the bottled water. The issue we had with our room is that the inside tv the channels came in fuzzy so we called the engineer and no joke it literally took them 2 hours to fix. Such a pain!!! The room service was awful. For starters some of them don't understand you and they take forever. Seriously at least 1 hour to bring you food and by the time you get it it's not even hot it's warm if that. I was not happy with the room service. The resort itself was Okay it's a lot of walking and thankfully there is a golf cart to take you around. I don't mind the walking I enjoyed it but after a while it was a little too much. The restaurants here were awful. Not a lot of options especially for kids. My poor son ate chicken strips every single day 2x a day. And they were a hit and miss. The Italian restaurant the service had to be the worst and the food sucked. They served my son burnt chicken strips and was forced to eat them. I felt sooo, sooo, sooo bad!!! The other kid options weren't that good, it was like mac and cheese and pizza and the pizza was blahhhh!!! The only good thing was the breakfast buffet in the morning near the lobby. The people working there were fantastic, the lady making the waffles was so nice. I enjoyed the fresh green juice, I loved the donuts that were on the wall, vI loved my scrambled eggs in the morning with the pico we Gallo and the beans. Oh and the quesadilla. I probably ate that for 4 days straight and I loved it. The only good part of this hotel. The girls working at Starbucks have no personality they are not friendly and I didn't even bother buying anything from Starbucks cuz they didn't even know how to properly greet me. I walked in and walked out. We paid additional for the all inclusive this was totally overpriced and I'm glad I was able to order multiple things but unfortunately wasted a lot too. Their chicken is super dry and the food is basically made in bulk and not fresh tasting at all. I think i ate chips, guac and pico de Gallo at lunch everyday. My Husband liked some of their fish items. Service was Okay!!! The driver of the golf cart was nice, some of the people working at the restaurant were very friendly, the other staff was Okay. The best person we dealt with was Lynette at the Concierge desk. My goodness she was so amazing, she provided us the best service, great deals, very accommodating and just an overall pleasure to deal with. We also ended up doing the timeshare presentation good luck with that, minimum 2 hours. All in all, I wasn't impressed with the hotel at all. You can't swim at the beach, there are nice views of it but we didn't spend much time on it hard to walk the sand was really hard and not comfortable to walk on. Not sure if I would recommend this place. Our experience could have been better if the food quality was better.
