Grand Hotel Bastiani

We had a junior suite with a small bathroom dividing the living room from the bedroom. The shower is very small but the towels are plush and the mattress is good. Unfortunately no lotion nor conditioner provided though they do have cotton swabs and bar soap. The breakfast is simple and ask for vegan croissants if you want. Great location at the edge of the shopping street which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Inexpensive parking a few steps away and the people are so nice!

The SMELL in the rooms is unforgettable. The shower/toilet has NO Ventilation at all, it ventilates into your bedroom and makes the whole room a part of the toilet. After taking a shower you get 99% indoor humidity, permanent. The staff assured me that magic elves turn the ventilation on/off automatically and nobody knows when they do it or how to communicate with them. The staff is nice and cooperative but they can't do much about it.

Arianna was very professional during my stay of 1 week (polite, good grooming, friendly) I hope one day she will become Hotel Director. The hotel has been renovated this years and the classic style is wonderful. I came from Mexico to Grosseto to do the gelato course. Staying in this hotel was like a dream.

A nice clean and cozy place to stay. It is well located in the town center. On Thursdays , there is a street market preventing cars from entering. So going to the train station on a Thursday can be a hassle. Parking near the hotel is also not so easy due to the narrow streets.

I’m so impressed by the good service we had at this time we spend at the hotel. We had a business trip to Gressetto and stayed in the Grand Bastiani hotel it was very lovely from the atmosphere but especially the staff is so lovely and friendly. BIG THANK YOU TO BIANCA FROM THE REZEPTION AGAIN FOR HELPING US LIKE AN ANGEL ! We needed a transfer to the airport as fast as possible, and she gave so much afford as it would have been her flight that she would miss.. Already at the phone when we called she made a research wich is the best and fastest option 🥹🙏🏽 She is truly an angel ! Also the 2 girls from the breakfast were so nice and lovely 💕 I would come and also recommend this beautiful place always again !!! ✨

Stayed one night location good close to many restaurants. We had a juniorsuite A/C was ok but could make the whole room cold enough! Breakfast was not the best we had in Italy. Taxi to trainstation about 15 minutes and price was 10-15 Euro. The city it self was very quite!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the old city. Great food across the street. Shops everywhere.

Nice hotel located perfectly in the centre of the city. Good breakfast. Coffe and scrambled eggs are served fresh made by the waitress. The bathroom was nice and clean, but the carpeting needs to be replaced from the room and hall. The hotel is managed by a family and they care about the service. The price was reasonable.

Nice hotel just in the center of the town, has not parking facilities but a parking lot is not very far. Restaurants and shopping area within a walking distance.
