Grand Hotel Bastiani

A nice clean and cozy place to stay. It is well located in the town center. On Thursdays , there is a street market preventing cars from entering. So going to the train station on a Thursday can be a hassle. Parking near the hotel is also not so easy due to the narrow streets.

Arianna was very professional during my stay of 1 week (polite, good grooming, friendly) I hope one day she will become Hotel Director. The hotel has been renovated this years and the classic style is wonderful. I came from Mexico to Grosseto to do the gelato course. Staying in this hotel was like a dream.

Stayed one night location good close to many restaurants. We had a juniorsuite A/C was ok but could make the whole room cold enough! Breakfast was not the best we had in Italy. Taxi to trainstation about 15 minutes and price was 10-15 Euro. The city it self was very quite!

I’m so impressed by the good service we had at this time we spend at the hotel. We had a business trip to Gressetto and stayed in the Grand Bastiani hotel it was very lovely from the atmosphere but especially the staff is so lovely and friendly. BIG THANK YOU TO BIANCA FROM THE REZEPTION AGAIN FOR HELPING US LIKE AN ANGEL ! We needed a transfer to the airport as fast as possible, and she gave so much afford as it would have been her flight that she would miss.. Already at the phone when we called she made a research wich is the best and fastest option 🥹🙏🏽 She is truly an angel ! Also the 2 girls from the breakfast were so nice and lovely 💕 I would come and also recommend this beautiful place always again !!! ✨

Nice hotel located perfectly in the centre of the city. Good breakfast. Coffe and scrambled eggs are served fresh made by the waitress. The bathroom was nice and clean, but the carpeting needs to be replaced from the room and hall. The hotel is managed by a family and they care about the service. The price was reasonable.

Nothing grand about the rooms at all, but it was close to the airport for our quick overnight. Small rooms, very old technology and even the few outlets in the room didn't support any of my adapters (and I travel the world). The office staff was friendly and restaurant staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel itself is decent and the staff is nice. Breakfast is very good but the hotel is located into a low traffic zone and it's hard to park and the ac cannot be adjusted forcing you into a 15 degrees celsius freeze. The nightmare began after writing a 5 star review on booking. 10 min after writing it I got contacted on my mobile by an unregistered number, claiming to be from the hotel threating me of a fine for a cigarette mark on the carpet if not removed (neither me nor my wife smoke). After contacting booking customer service the issue escalated and I started to receive intimidating messages on wa to the point of having to block them. Scary to say the least. Save yourself sleepless nights and book somewhere else.

Grand hotel Bastiani is just cozy and elegant and you're welcomed by a young and helpful staff. I've been traveling to Grosseto on a monthly basis for years now and I think I have stayed in all the facilities in the neighborhood..|Honestly this is the one where I found myself more at ease, rooms are spotless, spacious and tastefully furnished, above all they are quiet, which is unthinkable inside the walls, trust me.||The breakfast is wonderful, rich and greedy. Combines the variety of the English breakfast with the flavors of the Maremma enriched by fresh fruit, homemade cakes and freshly baked croissants. Don't forget to enjoy teh espresso at the bar which wakes you up in one sip!||I must highlight the politeness and the elegant availability of the Director, who managed to satisfy the particular needs of my elderly parents with whom I was traveling.|Not to mention the discreet but punctual presence of the staff on duty from early morning until late at night.|location is great, perfect to explore the city on foot and just 10 minuts drive to the beach.|I will definitely return there at the end of the month and for the next trips.|I'm so happy to have found my oasis of peace and kindness in which to rest and regenerate during my daring journeys in the Maremma.

Nice hotel just in the center of the town, has not parking facilities but a parking lot is not very far. Restaurants and shopping area within a walking distance.
