The hotel is situated on a fairly quiet side street the inner rooms are very quiet. I booked 2 superior twin rooms with breakfast included there was a considerable difference in size between the two. No wardrobe just a tiny gap with a token few hangers. Small but very modern ensuite with walk in shower. No storage or shelf for toilet bags etc. not ideal. |We had to boil our kettle on the floor as there wasn’t a suitable socket higher up. We was given one paper cup each per day for hot drinks, no china cup or mug.|Breakfast is charged at 18 euros each fortunately it was included in our booking. The variety and quantity of items in the breakfast buffet did not justify the cost. Items that ran out an hour before service finished were not replaced we were told they had no more! |On a positive note the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar is a nice place for an aperitif you would need to book a table if you want to sit outside. There are set time slots. The cheapest bottle of wine is 60 euros. |Personally l think overall the hotel is more 3 star than|4 star. I would probably recommend it but advise eating breakfast out.

Checked TripAdvisor before we went and liked the reviews. This hotel is very nice and if we were to come to Lille again we would happily stay here. Found the room for myself and my daughter to be very comfortable. Bed and pillows clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean and good shower. Went to rooftop bar on my birthday and good views. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was enjoyable and replenished and all clean. |Just a couple of points. The cups in bedroom are cardboard which I knew from trip advisor so I took my own china cups and teabags. The TV never worked at all but I didn't complain as we watched my daughter's tablet at the end of an evening with downloads. The air con didn't seem to be working at all but perhaps it wasn't switched on as not too warm. I found the room very warm when entering so we would open up the windows fully for 10 minutes to let air in. |The hotel is very central and we felt safe. |Thank you to all the staff for our wonderful stay.

we came to Lille for the Bruce Springsteen concert, not expecting too much from Lille and the hotel. we were mistaken. Lille is a beautiful city, definitely worth a visit, and the hotel exceeded expectations. a wonderful little hotel, in the best possible location. the staff were more than friendly, they made it easy for us to go to the concert on their own initiative. the rooms are comfortable and very clean, the breakfast is very good. we didn't get to use everything the hotel has to offer, e.g. the spa. best recommendations!!!

Fantastic location just off the main square. We had a mezzanine room which let the kids have their own space upstairs with two single beds and the room was huge! Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom well appointed with "white company" toiletries. Given the location I was surprised how quiet it was. Every staff member we spoke to was attentive and helpful. Everyone spoke English which was helpful as my french is a bit rusty! We didn't have eat in the hotel so can't comment. Sadly the roof terrace was closed during the day which is a shame! Late checkout (1200h) was standard which was fantastic with kids. Really enjoyed our all too brief stay!

We stayed here as a base for us to visit the war graves. This hotel is such a gem we were checked in very quickly and efficiently by friendly receptionist. Our room was on the 3rd floor no view but the room was very big and very clean with a coffee machine. The shower was excellent. There is a rooftop bar which is good and nice views of Lille this hotel is excellent and very friendly staff who work very hard especially at breakfast time and the breakfast is excellent we will definitely be back.

I loved this hotel. It is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff were all very helpful and professional. The breakfast was delicious. The unexpected icing on the cake was the rooftop bar and the Grand Bellevue Spritz. The close proximity to the metro was great for our needs. It took ten minutes to walk here from Lille Europe train station. Lille is very pretty lots of nice places to eat and drink and shop. Loads of shoe shops! . If you need somewhere to stay in Lille I recommend you give this hotel a try.

I don't really know where to start with this hotel. The location is excellent. Right on the Grand Place and a 10 minute stroll from the international station where you'll find the Eurostar. The staff were friendly and happy to help. There was some really lovely decor and fabulous chandeliers and wallpaper. The breakfast was ok, nothing special but not bad either, a standard continental (although lacking in vegetarian alternatives). But. There is literally no disabled access into the hotel. There are large steps up into the building and no other entrance. The hotel advertises an 'accessible room' which we had, and luckily I am an ambulatory wheelchair user so my partner was able to carry my chair up the stairs, but there was no communication to let us know that the hotel would not be suitable for someone who was not ambulant. The elevator is very small and I just managed to squeeze in, in a standard sized chair with power attachment. The 'accessible room' was large, with a big comfortable bed. There was a very large wet room style bathroom but with no shower chair and no grab rails for the shower either. No bath. A very confusing set up!! Good value for money for able bodied people.

Perfectly located in Lille, this hotel offers a calm place to stay. The hotel colleagues were all helpful. The rooftop bar was fun and the welcome there was a warm-one. Breakfast was a smooth experience. We left wishing we could stay longer.

Yelp
This wasn't the fanciest hotel, but it was kind of cute and the people were really nice. The location is also pretty great. It's right on the Square, close to restaurants and shopping. I liked the old-fashioned feel of the hotel. It made me think of the movie Grand Budapest Hotel. The bathrooms were nice, but the bathroom door was not. It's stuck and made noise and didn't feel super private. Good blackout shades and comfortable bed. We weren't feeling 100% the day we stayed here, so we stayed in at night and streamed the sopranos, but it sounded like more fun outside. It was clean, comfortable, not terribly expensive and located in a great neighborhood.

Yelp
Overall, I was very pleased with my stay here. I traveled to Lille for work, and stayed for 6 nights in the Best Western Bellevue. The location is phenomenal - right in the heart of Vieux Lille, steps from the Rihour Metro station, and from tons of shops and restaurants. The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Unlike previous reviewers, my bathroom had certainly been updated. It was also spacious with a full bath and hand-shower, a rarity by European standards. There was a flat-screen TV in my room, with 2 English channels, including BBC News. The room itself is decorated in a Henry XVI style (obviously not real antique furniture), fitting with the classic style of the hotel. The only disappointments were: 1) Very thin walls - when neighbours watched TV or spoke on phone, I could hear everything. 2) The wireless internet was VERY slow and spotty, dropping out randomly, making Skype calls difficult. Internet access was free, so I suppose I shouldn't complain! If these two issues weren't present, I would certainly have given this hotel 5 stars.

Yelp
Really nice hotel with a great location. The bathroom was huge. The bed was nice. The staff were really friendly. As a note, the entrance is in the back of the building opposite of the center public square. That was unexpected.
