Tried it three times but that's not my place, despite being very conveniently located next to Belorusski Station. Rooms are quite noisy, as walls are very thin. Furniture and out-fitting had certainly already seen better days. Shower temple looked impressive, unfortunately didn't work. Air conditioner also didn't work, what resulted into a discussion whether ventilation isn't a kind of air conditioning as well. Breakfast exists, yes.

"Grand". It's just the name of this place...very thin walls, noisy rooms (bunch of people next door making very questionable noises), fake wood furniture, tiny desk with no lamp, tiny bathroom with oversized multijet shower (the only "plus" of the room), small towel for showering, fridge right next to the bed (noisy during the night)... But it's right next to the train station. You can find better places for the same price right around the corner though. Lobby staff was ok, spoke good English, not too friendly. Breakfast below average, poor quality of food and very small selection of dishes. To avoid if you can spend above 100 Euro per night

Dont take a breakfast. The imperial style of the rooms doesn't corresponding with the breakfast! +communication before (The staff operated E-Mails. They answer with a real reference to the question. No phrases.) +earlier check-in without discussions. +imperial styled rooms. Nice. +international staff, at the desk good English. +location 5 minutes from Belorussian railway station. +oilheater in the room. -Don't take the breakfast! -breakfast cheap, bad coffee, tables like a canteen. -breakfast hall without windows -steps in-house -closed windows -no remote for AC They could have a really good breakfast area when rebuilding the floor. Big windows with good view over the square. The investment would be worthwhile if the house is still 10 years. (2018)

In a very good neighborhood. Quick access to the metro lines 2 and 5. Very good bars and restaurants and markets nearby. The room was great. Breakfast is not great but still good. The only problem was hearing people from adjacent rooms talking.

The best sound system I've even seen in a hotel - you can hear people singing karaoke in your room at midnight time. bed sheet could not even cover the ehole king size bed. we stayed in the hotel in Nov under temperature of -1 degree. Warm water was available at first but suddenly changed to cold water when showering. TV channels were only in Russian, not even offering international English channels like BBC. the hotel also offers the worst breakfast you can meet in Europe. Poridge is disgusting mucus-like - never try. bread is already cut and placed for at least a week that you can know from its dryness. Milk was added with water to reduce cost.

Never stay here if you are buy car. Parking around costs the same as a double room in the hotel. Soviet style service. Service at the car entrance just rude, at the reception is simply not polite. Difficult to sleap because of a havy transport noise, windows do not protect at all. Not clean, not pleasant to stay at.

It's rated as a 4 star hotel, but it's more like a 3 star hotel. Furniture is a bit old, bathrooms are old style with plastic shower enclosures. Only one iron in the hotel on 5th floor. Breakfast is average. Location is good, close to the Metro and Aeroexpress station. Hot water in this area of Moscow wasn't working at the time (common in Russian cities during the summer) and the hotel has its own boiler but it wasn't good. Late checkout costs 50% of normal room rate, even if it's only 1 hour late! If you're looking for a 3 star hotel in a good location, it's ok. Definitely not a 4 star hotel though.

I'm happy, will come back. It's not ideal. Not a 4-star hotel... The breakfast could've been better, but for that price it's good. You won't be left hungry. It's great location, good service and inexpensive. Good value for money.
