Grand Hotel Bucharest

My stay at The Grand Hotel in Bucharest was truly wonderful. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, blending modern luxury with classic charm. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, offering all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. I especially loved the balcony view, which provided a great perspective of the city and made my mornings even more enjoyable. The service was outstanding—staff members were always friendly, attentive, and willing to assist with anything I needed. The location is perfect, close to many attractions and offering easy access to public transportation. I particularly enjoyed the on-site restaurant, which served delicious meals in a cozy atmosphere. Overall, The Grand Hotel offered a memorable and luxurious experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bucharest.

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect in every way. The standout aspect was the reception staff, who were exceptionally helpful and attentive to every need and request of the guests. Their warm and friendly service truly enhanced my experience, making it unforgettable. The room was clean and well-appointed, with a magnificent view from the window. The breakfast buffet was also diverse and satisfying. The central location, within easy reach of the top tourist sites, was very convenient. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an excellent accommodation experience in Bucharest.

Terrible hotel , entrance gate was full of dirt , like never cleaned. Receptionist behave strangely with us and more over talk like club bouncer . Zero manners. We wait more then 5 minutes before someone come to attend us at reception. Reception of five star hotels was empty. with bitter welcome we received our key cards and we went to our room. We open the door and whole room smell like old unclean carpet . We checked the bathroom it was dirty floor with stains and toilet was yellow. It was same smell like street toilets. I bet there was never general cleaning happening in the bathroom in years. We expect everything and we decided to go down to talk with receptionist but he was busy with other clients and we gave up and walk away for dinner. When we came back to hotel and want to go back to our room security guard walk all the way from same receptionist and asked me where are you going and what is your room number. Before I entered in the elevator there was some other people all around me but he insist and want to know my room number. I said why he is asking me only and answer was for security reasons. I just understand why he is asked me only and I realise I was the only guy with colour. My point is this place judge people with their skins colour and with the name of security they embarrass you. Let’s elevate one more basic point. Five stars hotel mini bar freeze was empty. It was big mistake to booked this hotel. I promise myself and my colleagues from Romania and world wide just don’t get in this old dirty place where you pay your fortune for bad smelly carpet non hygiene sanitary. To not have my words but also I am going to upload some live pics as well.

We had an excellent stay at Grand Central. On check in we had an early start the next morning (bran castle), we were provided with a breakfast bag which had loads in it and actually did us throughout the day.|The room was great size, comfy bed and no issues. Breakfast in morning was delicious no complaints. We used the sauna once the sauna and steam room were roasting. The pool was FROZEN so don't expect a warm swim.|The only critique we would give is that the hotel could give more coffee /milk as we ran out of these quickly (but we do enjoy a morning coffee!)|All in all defo recommend central for everything and ideal location

Excellent service from Victoria and Andrei. They both made out stay extra special and were kind, helpful and friendly. Victoria and Andrei also helped advise us on locations to visit, understanding our needs. We really loved their energy and am so thankful for them. They are a true representation of excellence service and people. Thank you!

Beautiful ol hotel. Lobby has a very nice smell, clean and welcoming. Front desk has a great team, they are ready to assist you with everything. We had a room on upper floor, view was amazing, very clean, spacious and very well maintained, old and new are combined. We also enjoyed spa area, small but nice pool, gym is well maintained with everything you need, saunas are amazing. Breakfast was very good, restaurants in the hotel very nice ones. I will come back.

An excellent 5-star hotel.|Excellent service at the reception, we arrived at the hotel at 12 noon and immediately got the rooms.|Large rooms with a good level of cleanliness. Rich and varied breakfast. You feel very safe in the hotel and around.|The hotel is close to the city center, there is a metro station and a taxi station at the exit of the hotel, so it is easy to get anywhere and return to the hotel.|A small note for improvement: equipment in the bathroom needs replacing.|We will definitely return to the hotel again.

I needed to book 4 hotel rooms for my friends, staying 4 night in Bucharest. Requirements for choosing hotel were 1. location, 2. comfort 3 spa with swimming pool 4. nice breakfast, 5. twin rooms. I choose these hotel and we stayed for 4 nights. All requirements exceeded our expectations, as this hotel really justify its name in every sense. Building itself is masterpiece of socialistic architecture and one of the best hotels in East Europe at that time and even now. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel rather than one of newer brand name hotels, as one can really can feel history of that time. Having a spa and a pool at the 22nd floor with panoramic city view it is not only added value but one unforgettable experience. Only fault was lack of clean towels at the spa area, which was corrected 2 minutes after reception was notified. Hotel staff is very professional with everybody speaking English. I would defiantly stay again if I return to Bucharest.
