Grand Hotel Bucharest

Could not fault anything about our stay would definitely recommend it. Room overlooking the city which was soundproofed was spotless. Staff were all professional but friendly, breakfast was great and they also packed up breakfast boxes for our 12 trip with enough food for the day. The number 100 bus from the airport and 122 to steaua stadium were on the door step as is old town.|Prefect stay in an amazing city thank you!

Review of Grand Hotel Bucharest I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel in Bucharest and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent — right next to the Old Town, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and major attractions. Public transportation is also very convenient, with a metro station and bus lines just steps away. The hotel staff was very professional and helpful, providing good service throughout the stay. Breakfast was rich and plentiful, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but it’s clear that maintenance could be improved. The mini-fridge didn’t work, and the support handle in the bathtub was broken. Still, the room had a safe, and every day we received complimentary water bottles and coffee capsules, which was a nice touch. The hotel also features a pleasant swimming pool and a well-equipped gym, which added to the overall experience. With some attention to maintenance, this hotel could easily rank even higher.

This was my first time at a 5* hotel, it was the comfiest bed I've ever slept in with a weighted duvet keeping me snug all night while the air con kept me cool. Rooms provided everything you needed from tea/coffee, robes and slippers, bathroom essentials and even the choice of a pillow menu giving the luxury vibe. A gorgeous Lobby with a beautiful aroma as you walk around, staff made us feel welcomed and were very friendly. Hot Breakfast was a little disappointing however alot of breakfast choices ranging from yogurt and fruit to pancakes and baked goods. The health suite was lovely and quiet, it's very warm in there however they do have fans throughout, there is also option for you to lie outside on beds. Overall a wonderful stay and well priced.

The price was reasonable for the hotel as it's located very central. |The hotel is dated even if the picture on the net and there's site are beautiful it's quite a diference . The bathroom shower didn't work properly but I didn't complain about it . The carpet in the room felt dirty if you walk barefoot. The spa is not so nice as the pictures and I didn't find it relaxing or cosy. I would not pay extra just for the spa . The gym is dated .|The breakfast is basic and no fresh juice . |The outside of the hotel is totally forgotten and no flowers or other arrangements as many 5 star hotels have . The pavement is loose and a man fell because of it . |The boulevard outside is in total decadence and the nice shops theatres , movie saloons or cafes are gone left with only empty spaces . ||The staff is helpful , nice and friendly that together with the central location is the best part with the hotel.

I was a guest for three nights at Grand Hotel Bucharest and I had a great time. Before I went I asked if I could have a room at the superior levels of the building and they gave me a room with what I think is the best view in Bucharest. The breakfast was very good, with a selection of cheese and deli meats, omelettes, salads and fruit. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the classic style of the overall interior design. I already planned to go back next time when I will be travelling to Bucharest.

its very nice locatuon and everything in walking distance. excellent service. the rooms are big classic design . very nice breakfast and very central location. its a very good choice. they should replace the bath tub with shower cabins. they need to do some renovations but in general its nice hotel and provide all facilities. friendly staff thank you

What to say about this hotel. Truly the best in Romania. The rooms are spacious and the view is breathtaking. Finally don't forget to go to the top floor where the pool is located. If I visit Romania again, I'll choose it without a second thought.

I had a great experience at Grand Hotel Bucharest! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the room was spotless, spacious and with a great city view. I had a relaxing and comfortable stay!!
