Grand Hotel Bucharest

The most amazing security guy out there, his name is David. The hotel is lucky to have such employees, I felt taken cate of, respected and most of all, valued. Also very handsome guy. The hotel has really good service overall, good food, and even greater events planned. I recommend going here, also check out the pool and the amazing sauna and gym it provides, and the rooms are immaculate. 10/10 experience, amazing receptionists, thank you Robert for the hospitality and professionalism!

We had a lovely stay at the Grand Hotel; the staff are friendly and efficient and accommodated our requests. We even were allowed a late check out at no additional charge.|We dined in the hotel restaurant one evening, the food was well presented and delicious. Cocktail time at the piano bar was relaxing; their pianist has an extensive repertoire without the use of sheets. The hotel spa/pool/sauna were clean and relaxing and the gym, although a little outdated, was sufficient for the few days we were there.|The hotel is very centrally located and within walking distance of the Old Town which is charming, as well as a park which is full of families enjoying the lovely weather. Overall, we would definitely recommend the Grand Hotel Bucharest. ||~Bucharest is a safe and charming place for a city break.

We had dinner in the Sky Lounge. Food was lovely however atmosphere was lacking. Great views but they were obstructed by window frames when sitting. ||Staff were friendly and very helpful service was excellent. ||Pianist was talented but loud , there were only 5 tables which meant it overwhelmed the room.

I was deep impressed by the special treatment and professional service by Mr Salama in the restaurant. Had an extraordinary meat selection, and recommended choice on a T-Bone was over my expectations. I can recommend the place for meat lovers and couples to enjoy this atmosphere, the delicious food and various art of premium kitchen!|Thank You!

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights and, unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The website advertises in capital letters “maximum luxury and exclusive sensation” — but the reality was far from it. From the start, the staff seemed unsure of what they were doing. On the first day, our bathroom flooded. We reported it to reception, and the “fix” was to put a bar across the floor, which only made things worse — every shower turned the bathroom into a lake, with water spilling over the barrier. The room itself didn’t feel clean. There was visible dust, fingerprints, and a very unpleasant smell that carried through both the room and the hallway. Amenities were poorly thought out: no mugs provided for the tea (though they refilled the teabags daily), only one sofa in the room, one glass, and even just one large towel. It felt careless and incomplete. The rooms are also extremely outdated with lots of quick, poor fixes. Our wardrobe door didn’t even close properly. Overall, the whole place felt neglected, tired, and nowhere near five-star standards. For the price, this was very disappointing. This hotel seriously needs a full review of its facilities and services — or a visit to an actual five-star hotel to understand the difference PS location might be good but your better off staying in the USSR apartment across the road I think

I stayed one night at Grand Hotel Bucharest, and it was a lovely experience. I really enjoyed the hotel’s traditional style and the amazing city view from the high floors. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Bucharest. A big thanks to Michelle at reception, who was super kind and explained the history of the hotel so nicely. She truly made my stay feel special.

The location was great. I came for academic conference so for me it was an ideal location. The atmosphere at the hotel was great a d the service examplary. The room was big and very compatible. The breakfast was rich especially with vegetables and assortment of cheeses. All in all, next conference, my way to go hotel.

The best possible location especially for a 1st time visit. For whatever floor level, rooms end 01 -10 have the city view which is phenomenal. The piano bar is my haven and first place to head for when getting off the plane. The skylounge restaurant is breathtaking day or night.
