As a well travelled guy around the world, I’ve experienced many 5 star hotels including Dubai, but this is by far my favourite of them all!! ||As I came here to write this review I was nosey enough to wisher how other people’s experiences. And I’m shocked to read some reviews and I can only assume that they MUST be spam or a bitter competitor locally. ||Because I cannot fault a single thing from the grand hotel Da Vinci||The staff were impeccable, from their politeness, professionally well dressed and how attentive they were. ||I stayed in a room which took my breath away upon entering, Versace bathroom tiles and above the bed. A real fine touch of which I’ve not seen before in any hotel. Well sized bathroom and impressively sized bedroom. Probably the best nights sleep I’ve had in a very comfortable bed too. ||Some of the comments I think are spam mention issues with the pool tiles. No no and no again. The pool was perfectly kept. Not a single fault. They even had a bottom hoover type cleaner going around over night to maintain its perfection ||The surrounding gardens in the pool area and throughout the hotel were faultless too. ||If you want 5 star Italian dining then look no further. Not only is the breakfast buffet one of the most superior I’ve had. The evening dining service was amazing. Mouth watering menu choice and perfectly delivered. ||Take a 30 second walk from the rear exit behind the pool and you’re dining at ‘La Spaggia’ restaurant located on its private beach area which is idyllic in the evenings ||La spaggia also has lunchtime offerings after a morning on the beach. As mentioned it’s a private beach area, which unlike most sun loungers in Italy is very well spaced giving you a relaxing beach experience ||I can’t wait to return to the area because the town of Cesenatico is beautiful too. Only a 5-10 minute walk up the harbour and you have a great selection of boutique shops and waterside restaurants. Great for both daytime and evenings. ||5/5 stars - and I have already booked for July 2026! See you again soon :)

What a beautiful hotel – truly 5-star service from start to finish. From the stunning decor to the friendly and professional staff, everything exceeded expectations. The food was exceptional – every meal felt like fine dining. I was honestly surprised to read some of the negative reviews, as I've stayed in many 5-star hotels, and this is genuinely one of the best. I’ll definitely be returning next year with my whole family. If you appreciate elegance, quality service, and a touch of luxury, this hotel is perfect for you.

I have always found that a great staff can make up for other deficiencies in a hotel. This has never been more true than my recent stay at this property. We arrived very late on the night of our check in. Stephen was waiting for us, by name, with open arms and intent on providing the perfect welcome. In the morning, we experienced what may be the most elaborate and satisfying breakfast of our lives. From the personal omelette chef to a bakery level assortment of delicacies, it was perfect. We then met Elena, who not only seemed intent on charmingly meeting all of our needs, but also provided several tips to enjoy the surrounding area. The room was standard, but very clean. The hotel was pristine and we cannot wait to return for a longer stay.

From all the twelve hotels we've visited last summer, this was our favorite. This hotel truly is very grand. From the friendly staff in the lobby, at the pool and even on the beach. They make sure that their guest get everything they need. Drinks and food in the pool and they even drop by on the beach. The good thing about Cesenatico is that there aren't that many foreign tourists. Mostly Italians. Which is a plus. The hotel is located at the end of the walking strip, but very nearby shops and restaurants. But if you want you can do a 10 minute walk to the lovely old centre, with a canal with many restaurants and classical fischer boats. If you're into fish than there a lots of restaurants. If you're not into fish, it can be a bit of a challenge to find a place to eat, but not impossible. We truly enjoyed every bit of our stay and found it highly, highly recommend.

I had a great experience during my stay at this hotel. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and exactly as described.||I’d like to give special thanks to Elena at the reception. Despite her young age, she was incredibly professional, charming and efficient. She listened to us and handled our requests with such confidence and grace. Her dedication and warm attitude really made a difference and contributed greatly to the positive atmosphere of the hotel.

We visited the hotel in September 2025, the room was beautiful in Versace design, excellent cuisine.|What I disliked is that the hotel does not have its own parking lot, in the heat with carports or an underground garage.|They only have a parking area behind the hotel whose surface is made of white gravel, so it gets incredibly dusty|the cars have white tires and the suitcase wheels are messy. If you were to expect some livery at a five-star hotel|to help you with your luggage, then by no means. You have to go through the back entrance like a thief and carry everything yourself.|The biggest disappointment for us was when the hotel manager told us at lunch that he no longer had the current room for us for the last night|and offered us their subsidiary hotel in a city 15 km away as a replacement without the slightest compensation. This is what happened to my colleagues from the other|3 rooms, when some of them, who were on a trip during the day, had their things packed into suitcases, left them at the reception and basically thrown out of the hotel room.|They then came to their room unsuspectingly and there were complete strangers there.||I will not return to this hotel. They do not respect their clients. It is a disgrace.

Unfortunately, this is a hotel with dubious, less service-oriented business practices. We had reserved two rooms and realized an hour later that we had chosen the wrong place. Unfortunately, the hotel refused our request for a free cancellation, even though no damage had been done in that hour. There were enough rooms available, so we didn't block anyone else from booking during that hour. It's sad when a company feels it necessary to earn money in this way...

In our opinion this hotel is a 5 star hotel only for the prices, not the services. The air conditioning does not work well in an almost tropical climate with a high humidity of almost 40 degrees in the shade. The pool needs a good renovation with the floor with broken tiles. The staff is rather haughty and responds vaguely to the customer's answers without giving any concrete help. The breakfast was certainly not the breakfast of a 5 star hotel.

We just checked into what is reported to be a five star hotel. At best I can say it is a one star hotel. They have put us into a room next to the lobby bathrooms that is the size of a closet. There are NO other rooms on this floor. In fact rhe hotelnlobby bathrooms are exactly next to our door! Yes we have the lobby bathrooms and a staircase for guests exactly next to our door. We hear Everything! Is this a five star experience or some type of bait and switch as they advertised and I booked this "Executive Room". Maybe their management should look at what they call and charge for an "Executive Room". I doubt they care as that is the direct message they are sending tourists.
