Park Hotel Pacchiosi (Parma, Emilia Romagna) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Park Hotel Pacchiosi is a park hotel in the most literal sense: though this monumental 19th-century edifice is located within the limits of urban Parma’s historic old town, it’s surrounded by an even hectare of verdant parkland. Inside, it’s a classic small luxury hotel, outfitted in a neo-Renaissance style. Upper-level rooms come with charming skylights; all are functionally modern despite their throwback aesthetics. To complete the package, there’s a gastronomic restaurant showcasing the famous flavors of Parma accompanied by wines from all over Italy and beyond, as well as a perfectly elegant piano bar." - Tablet Hotels

We loved this hotel. The staff was outstanding. It is about a 15-minute walk into downtown Parma.

Beautiful rooms and property, but unfriendly staff and not the service you‘d expect from a Grand Hotel.

Charming and elegant, the atmosphere of what this place used to be is somehow still there, maybe in the silence or in the long aisles. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. As shown by the pictures, the bathrooms are large and clean, and complimentary toiletries included everything you might need (comb, razor, toothbrush, tootpaste...). The breakfast buffet is rich and food and beverages offered are of outstanding quality. The staff is well trained: kind, polite and never intrusive. I would have definitely given 5 stars if I hadn't found black spots on my bed (look at the picture) as I entered my room. I am deeply sorry about this, but I cannot forgive such an oversight by a 5-star hotel.

Fantastic. What you'd expect a 5 star hotel to be : a Renaissance style building with high ceilings and tasteful art on the walls, huge bed- and bathrooms, multilingual staff in uniforms, large tables in a large dining room with enough space for everyone to navigate around, all the while providing modern amenities like a lift, a smart TV, parking including underground parking... You name it. And all that for a decent price. The shower is an actual Italian style shower with the drain integrated into the bathroom floor without any cheats like an elevated bathroom floor. An approximate 2 m2 in size, it was large enough for me and my 2 girlfriends to clean up in simultaneously ;-) I've been in less good hotels, but they were more expensive !

Fantastic hotel in Parma. The staff are super friendly and willing to help with just about anything you could ask for. The piano board is nice and fancy. The food at the restaurant was top notch. Would definitely stay there again.we loved the two level room we stayed in.

What a wonderful hotel! Everything is perfect here. The staff is very qualified and the breakfast is great. The only pain point would be the location a bit far from the city center which can't be accessed by car due to the ZLT, it would be great if the hotel proposed bikes to rent...

Beautiful hotel that's centrally located and has very professional staff. The grounds are beautiful and the breakfasts (which were included with our stay) were wonderful. The rooms are also quite unique and luxurious.

The hotel facilities are outstanding. This is a brand new property on a well restored property. The decor is simple and elegant. Rooms are very spacious and the quality of bed linen is excellent. Bathrooms are large with high ceilings and large windows. Natural light in the rooms is very pleasing given the 4 meter windows. The hotel offers free wifi internet that actually works! Location is very convenient to City Center and with great restaurants within walking distance. Buffet breakfast was included in the room rate offering excellent quality ingredients. You can see that all materials used are of the best quality. Restaurant prices are quite expensive when compared with other 5 star hotels in Italy. 85 Euros for a steak and 24 Euros for an Onion Soup is quite steep. I believe they will adjust prices as they see market reaction. A negative is that there is no wine-by- the glass offered anywhere in the hotel, not even in the bar. The Owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. You really feel welcome by the kind treatment and excellent advise. The staff is still in training process and will have to adjust to show initiative. For example with two employees in the reception no help was offered to take the bags to the car. Signage in the facility can be improved, particularly those pointing to the parking. It is difficult to find the entrance that points to a narrow alley in quite large gardens. Once in the garage multiple doors can be found but none has a sign pointing to the exit. The elevator from the parking to the hotel does not read the room cards so you have to call reception to send the elevator. In summary this is a great facility that is going to become the best hotel in Parma by far. We will definitely stay there when we visit Parma again.
