Here they treat guests very well. Here you can speak to the staff in your own language and they will understand you right away. Here your wishes and preferences will be fulfilled accurately and quickly. ||Here there is a stunning view of the heart of Trieste, but at the same time no noise will disturb you. ||The rooms are always clean, but at the same time the servants never bother you with their presence. ||Here the staff in the bar and restaurant are well-trained and polite. They are truly glad to see you and serve you. ||I did not have any problems or questions at the reception deck. Everything is clear and fast. ||The parking-walet service works clearly and safely, careful attitude to my car. ||I really hope that soon we will have a spa center and a swimming pool at our disposal (currently under reconstruction). ||We have been visiting this hotel in May and September for 14 years already always in the same Suite with View ||and we are going to do this in the future

Big disappointment! A rip-off!! It has the Relais Châteaux recognition but I wonder why. It is outdated, tacky, rather basic and.... charmless. Except the view on the big plazza, the room could be any 3-4 -star- hotel, anywhere in Europe. The entrance/reception is small, dark, not inviting. The last straw was the discovery of the café, and breakfast place. The worst cappuccino ever! Unbelievable. Mediocre taste, presentation, mushy foam (zero cheerful design on top of it). Poor choice of food for breakfast. No spa, no pool, no gym. Corridors neglected, with wires hanging. Nothing, absolutely nothing justifies the price. It is the costliest hotel in town and its standard corresponds merely to a 3 to 4 basic hotel. Kudos to the lady at reception, who managed to change my room at my request, to be on the highest floor. Only good point.

Stayed here 1 night with family of 6. Team did a great effort to make us all fitting in a 2 bedroom. This is important to us as the children are small. Our stay was perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only downside is; there is no pool

What a complete letdown of customer service. I think possibly 15 calls to try and resolve my lost laundry which they admitted they had been given away to another customer in error by their laundry service. They refused to act as a go between, wasted my time again and again. I asked to speak to the manager but apparently because Sonia at the front desk was dealing with it I had to time my calls for when she was in. Still no resolution 12 months on - I bet you were just hoping I would forget. Thanks for the £200 plus of items never to be seen from ever again and it’s just a shame because it’s a lovely hotel, fantastic location, food excellent and normally great service. Stayed here twice and left with a bitter experience.

The trip to Trieste was perfect. The apartment overlooking the square was. Beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff was so kind and helpful in making our stay wonderful.

Excellent location, welcoming reception, classy and spacious room. Only recommendation is to show more flexibility at breakfast and not charging extra for preparing an egg other than the offered boiled and scrambled egg

We stayed at this hotel from January 5th to 6th 2025. Coming from the south, we decided spontaneously to spend one night here. We consciously chose to book directly with the hotel instead of using Booking.com to avoid fees for the hotel. On the way, we called the hotel to check availability and rates. However, upon arriving at the reception and neutrally asking again about room categories and costs, we were told to check in at the neighboring four-star hotel, as it would be cheaper if we couldn't afford this one. This comment, delivered by receptionist Stefania, made us feel completely unwelcome. The service was unfortunately not friendly and welcoming|The check-in process lasted over an hour, during which we had to stand at the reception. After one hour, we were offered an aperitivo while they said our room would be prepared. However, after the aperitivo, there was still confusion about which room we would be assigned. Since we had our dog with us, we were told we would only be given a room without carpet because "our dog would make so much mess." Such a comment is not only unprofessional but also insensitive, making dog owners feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It is especially upsetting to hear such an assumption about our pet when we are already paying an extra cleaning fee for the dog. Ironically, we were eventually assigned a room *with* carpet, making the earlier remark feel unnecessary and inappropriate.|(!!!) At checkout, we were told we still needed to pay for the room, even though we had already paid. Despite pointing this out, the hotel insisted on payment. Back home, we saw on our credit card statement that the hotel had charged us twice!!!|The room itself was clean and equipped with standard five-star amenities. However, it was very small, and the water pressure from the shower was extremely low (not possible to wash long hair of a woman). The location of the hotel is undoubtedly excellent, but the overall experience did not live up to the expectations of a five-star establishment.|Breakfast was likely standard for Italian hotels, and I understand that breakfast in Italy is generally small, often consisting of just a cappuccino or espresso with a cornetto. However, charging an additional €10 for scrambled eggs in a five-star hotel is disappointing and feels unnecessary. In comparison, Austrian four-star hotels provide far more extensive breakfast options as part of the standard service.|Overall, the price-performance ratio for a five-star hotel was not met. The Stay was amazing. The terrace for the Breakfast was only for the Hotel guests. I like this! The Breakfast was great! The personal was very friendly!
