Grand Hotel Fasano

One of the best hotels we stayed this year. The hotel has a lot of class and the terrace with a stunning view over the lake.|Everything there for a good 5 star hotel. Paying a bit more is worth every Penny. |We didn’t have a room with a view over the lake but it was very nice. Everything there, from a coffee machine to a bottle of champagne included in the price.|We enjoyed our stay and will certainly come back

We had a glorious full lake view. The grounds have interesting trees and a lovely stone wall bordering lake with piers to swim/ boat from. Room was stunning. Great coffee machine , wonderful bathroom. Evening restaurants either Michelin or fish, a bit limited. Lovely restaurants up hill or in Gardone walking distance. Excellent breakfast. Staff outstanding. only issue was glass bins being emptied very noisily at 7.30am (6.30am UK time) went on for about 20 minutes. The hotel did give us compensatory fizz but did disturb our sleep one night.

I had the most wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. Most outstanding was the service. The staff looked after me so beautifully which I appreciated as a solo traveler. For example, I was brought a book light when a member of the restaurant/bar staff saw me trying to read in the evening light. The room and shower felt a little bit in need of renovation, but I didn't care as I had the most stunning view over the lake. I will be back.

This is such a hidden gem in Italy. The hotel is simply beautiful, hugging the shores of Lake Garda, it has been lovingly preserved while still offering all the modern comforts, with excellent air conditioning (very hard to find!!), super comfortable beds and linens, big bathrooms (another rarity in old hotels like this!) and some of the friendliest staff I have found on this trip. This was my 20th visit to Italy, and I can't believe I waited this long to explore the region... even on a rainy day, the concierge made some excellent recommendations for exploring the area beyond the lakeshore, and coming back to the cozy fire, live piano music and excellent food at the end of the day was perfection.||There are so many hotels in Italy that are all "hype" without offering anything special, the Grand Hotel Fasano is the opposite... quiet and hidden, a refuge by the water, and a memorable experience that I cannot wait to repeat.

My five-night stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations and was worth every penny. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay truly amazing. Even though we stayed in the most basic room, it was spacious and well-equipped, including a ghd hair dryer and straightener in the bathroom. The hotel boasts three pools, including a heated outdoor pool connected to an indoor pool through a tunnel. The spa area is stunning, and lunch served under a beautiful tree was a highlight. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, complete with prosecco, and there were plenty of sun loungers for all guests where the staff handed out fresh fruit & ice cream. Overall, a fantastic experience that I highly recommend.

Hotel has perfect position with the direct access to the Lake, nice view from the breakfast terrace, and the Terrace bar. Heated outdoor pool is great addition for guests in Autumn and Spring season. Owners are putting efforts to continuously renovate and upgrade hotel facilities. Staff are warm and there is always a personal touch to the guests.

What an amazing experience at the Grand Hotel Fasano. We were welcomed warmly by the staff upon our arrival. We were treated to a delicious welcome drink on the gorgeous outdoor bar facing the lake. Having limited Italian was not a problem. The staff spoke impeccable English. The guest relation manager - Giuseppina was absolutely terrific. Our room had a fabulous view of the magnificent lake and mountains. The breakfast was out of this world. I highly recommend this fabulous hotel. Our only complaint was we weren’t here long enough. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so memorable.

It was finest hotel. The facilities very impressive especially the sauna. You can just lay on the chair and enjoy the view. The staffs here were all very kind and helpful. Our room was without view, but the mountain side view also great.
