The Grand Hotel Gozo truly feels like my home away from home—this was my third stay and each visit was very pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, pleasant stay in Gozo.||My welcome was warm and professional. Youssef greeted me pleasantly when I arrived. The reception team (Jennifer, Rod, and Simon) was also very friendly and helpful during my stay. ||My room was beautifully prepared. It was very clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed after a long trip. Thank you, Ramesh. ||The view from my room was breathtaking. My terrace overlooked Mgarr Harbour and I was able to watch the sunrise each morning. ||Breakfast was always fresh, plentiful, and delicious. I especially loved the turmeric bread. I also enjoyed seeing Alok, Razi, and Daniela, along with the rest of the attentive breakfast staff. ||I also want to thank Paul, Justin, and Puschar for always checking on me despite how busy they were.||I ended my holiday with a wonderful massage from Jella at the spa. It was the perfect end to a very pleasant stay.

This hotel boasted amazing views from its infinity pool and they certainly didn’t disappoint. Unfortunately the rest of the hotel is very tired and I heard many complaints to the lovely reception staff. |The carpet outside our room was threadbare. The room was made from stone blocks but because it was so In need of painting it looked like breeze blocks and my first impression of the room was a “posh prison”. |The furniture on the balcony was broken but was replaced after my second request. The shower head was below head height. The shower curtain was about 1cm below the bath so every shower flooded the bathroom. The sink was very slow to drain. |People left bags of rubbish, glasses and bottles on tables in the corridors which were still there 3 days later. |Breakfast was good but when I saw the waiter changing the water reservoir in the coffee machine I never used it again. The water butts looked liked they had never been cleaned they had spills and stains on them and the grime on the inside of the machine could have been scraped off with your fingers. |When asked about car hire there was no help, generally the WiFi in the hotel was terrible but We managed to get some in reception to find a local company up the hill. |Best points are that the beds are clean and comfortable and the views are great. Price is ok for the views but the hotel definitely needs some TLC.

The second time I'm here! And this time in the room of the elevated category that Super great!!! Honored hotel. Luxury bed, high quality White linen, lots of space, stunning bathroom bath, functional (HDMI connector) TV, cute balcony, flawless air conditioning. Super dinners in the menu! So for breakfast, watermelons not every day, coffee Beacon, but all necessary! Stop on, buses all over the island (2 euros). I'll be back again!

An Outstanding Stay at the Grand Hotel Gozo – Pure Island Magic Our recent trip to the Maltese Islands was unforgettable, but what truly elevated the entire experience was our stay at the Grand Hotel Gozo. Perched with breathtaking views over Mgarr Harbour and the Gozo Channel, this hotel doesn’t just offer a place to sleep – it feels like the warm, welcoming heart of the island itself. From the moment we arrived, the genuine hospitality shone through. A special mention must go to Vladimir at the front desk, whose infectious enthusiasm and spot-on recommendations shaped our entire itinerary. Whether it was the best hidden cove for swimming, a family-run restaurant serving lampuki pie that dreams are made of, or the perfect sunset spot at the Citadel, his suggestions were pure gold. He didn’t just point us in the right direction – he made us feel like honoured guests discovering Gozo for the first time. The staff throughout the hotel were equally wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble: seamless check-in after a late ferry, thoughtful touches in our sea-view room (including extra pillows and a welcome plate of local pastizzi), and daily housekeeping that was discreet yet impeccable. Every interaction – from the breakfast team remembering how we liked our coffee to the concierge arranging a private boat trip on short notice – felt personal and heartfelt. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and furnished with that perfect blend of modern comfort and Maltese character. Waking up to the sight of fishing boats bobbing in the harbour below and Comino in the distance was a daily highlight. The rooftop pool and terrace became our go-to spot for evening drinks as the sun dipped behind the hills – sheer bliss. In a destination filled with charming boutique properties, the Grand Hotel Gozo stands out not because it tries to be the flashiest, but because it nails the essentials with warmth and authenticity. It made our transition from the bustle of home to the relaxed rhythm of Gozo completely seamless and left us counting down the days until we can return. If you’re heading to Gozo, do yourself a favour and make the Grand Hotel your base. We’ve stayed in many lovely places across Malta and Gozo, but this one felt like coming home. Five stars isn’t enough – thank you, Vladimir and the entire team, for making our holiday truly special. We’ll be back soon!

We had an amazing stay at the Grand Hotel Gozo! Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with stunning views. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the management went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. The location couldn’t be better — truly the best spot in Gozo, close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. We absolutely loved our experience and will definitely be booking again!

We stayed at the Grand Hotel for three nights during our holiday and overall had an amazing experience. The outdoor pool is absolutely fantastic, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everything ran smoothly from booking through to checkout, which made our stay stress-free. That said, the hotel itself is a little bit outdated and could benefit from some upgrades. Our bathroom, in particular, felt quite dated, and the showers were quite low, which wasn’t ideal for one of our taller guests. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel for its great service, relaxing atmosphere, and fantastic pool.

I recently organised an event and was offered The Lady Suite Hall. It was a very smooth process, Samuel the event manager was extremely helpful and did his best to accommodate all our needs. All the staff was helpful on the day and made sure that all our needs were met. The event went smoothly and the food and beverage was well planned out and very good quality. Would definitely consider it for other events. Thank you.

Stayed in October 25, I am regular visitor to Malta/Gozo first stay at the Grand. Hotel, it is very nice hotel, room was good and cleaned regularly. I was on floor 4 and was quite noisy at night with other guests talking loudly to each other and slamming doors. I didn't eat at hotel so cannot comment on food, used the bar twice, found one of the barman a bit rude and disinterested so drank in the local bars, much nicer. The pool area is lovely with great views over the bay and harbour, it is very peaceful, howerve, often disturbed by other guests facetiming loudly, that happens everywhere unfortunately, on my last day a group of lads watching a Bundesliga match shouting and drinking, lots of people to trying to relax left the pool area, as I did. Might be good idea if a member of staff looks in occasionally or put some signs up to respect other guests right to relax. Sounds like a moan, would I go back and stay at the Grand, definitely.
