Grand Hotel Gozo

Myself and my husband recently stayed at The Grand Hotel, Gozo. It was one of the best experiences we've had.||The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable.|Bathroom was also very clean and spacious.||The sleep quality was excellent, the mattress was so comfortable it felt like we were sleeping at home.||We had a great view from our room of the pool and the seal port.||The reception staff, cleaning staff, bar staff and restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful. They were so welcoming and always had a smile.||The restaurant food was very tasty and freshly made. There was a great choice of food for breakfast and dinner.||Pool was cleaned every day. It was spotless. ||Location of hotel was very convenient as it was located close to port /car ferry||We would definitely stay here again. Atmosphere was very relaxing.

Beautiful hotel in a good location with stunning views of the harbour. Great rooftop pool with fantastic views! We had a superior room facing the gorgeous view. The staff and management were exceptional, so helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel. We loved it!!!

We stayed at the Grand Hotel for three nights during our holiday and overall had an amazing experience. The outdoor pool is absolutely fantastic, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Everything ran smoothly from booking through to checkout, which made our stay stress-free. That said, the hotel itself is a little bit outdated and could benefit from some upgrades. Our bathroom, in particular, felt quite dated, and the showers were quite low, which wasn’t ideal for one of our taller guests. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel for its great service, relaxing atmosphere, and fantastic pool.

We’ve had the pleasure of staying at this hotel multiple times, and each visit has been just as remarkable as the last. This hotel truly feels like our second home! The staff is always incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure every need is met with a smile. Whether it’s a personalized greeting, thoughtful recommendations, or quick assistance, they make every guest feel valued.|The rooms are consistently spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing the perfect space to relax after a day of exploring. We especially love the charm of Gozo channel. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the attention to detail in every corner of the hotel makes it feel luxurious yet warm.|As repeat guests, we can confidently say that this hotel never fails to deliver an exceptional experience. If you’re looking for a place to stay that offers outstanding service, comfort, and hospitality, look no further. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone – it’s a five-star experience every time!

Honestly, this stay was a huge letdown. We arrived in 29°C heat and were greeted with warm orange juice… not exactly refreshing! When we pointed it out, the response was basically, “Well, it’s free,” so this was not a great start. I had booked a double sea view room, but at check-in I was told it was only reserved for one person and got hit with an extra €80 charge on the spot. Then we got to the room the door didn’t even fit the frame properly. We could hear EVERYTHING from the hallway feeling there was a complete violation of privacy. The hotels response to this was that no one else had complained, so essentially tough luck. Reception had already told us there were no other rooms available, so we were stuck. And the “sea view” we paid extra for? Not really what we were expecting. For over €200 a night, this place definitely didn’t deliver. To top it off, Booking.com had it listed for cheaper than what we paid directly but the hotel wouldn’t match it.

I arrived at The Grand Hotel in Gozo on 7th September this year.|This was my 1st ever solo trip abroad, so was apprehensive, but my nerves were eased once I arrived. |I ordered room service the first evening as I was exhausted from travelling and an early start.|The food from the terrace restaurant and bar is very good and good value. You can choose from burgers, wraps etc.|The only thing I found was quite difficult, possibly because I have osteoarthritis in my hip, was the lift system. |My room was located on the 8th floor.|You need to take the lift to the 5th floor and then walk a fair bit to the next lift to take you to the above floors.|However, having said that, once in the very modern, fully equipped room you soon forget about that!|The air conditioning is brilliant, the tea & coffee facilities are great and 2 small bottles of water are left each day. |The rooms are cleaned and tidied every day.|The view from the balcony is breathtaking.. it overlooks the harbour and at night is stunning with all the lights shining on the water.|I sat on the balcony for hours of an evening mesmerised!|All in all, I had a lovely 5 night stay at The Grand Hotel and hopefully will be back.

I had an amazing stay at the Grand Hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, especially Youssef – his professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out and made our stay even better. The room was clean and comfortable, the food was excellent with a great variety, and the outdoor pool was a perfect place to relax. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant experience!

Had a wonderful holiday at the grand hotel. Stunning views. Lovely staff. The hotel is a bit dated but I really liked it. Lovely big clean room. Sea view with a balcony. Tea, coffee and water replenished every day. Would definitely return. 😊
