First off, the photos of this hotel don’t do it justice. It looks spectacular in person and they should really hire a professional photographer to take pictures to show off the hotel’s beauty. Service was excellent and room was made up twice daily which we loved! Rooms were spacious and the air conditioning was so cold I had to close it which we low key loved. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, filled with delicious food! Pool service was excellent- shout out to Mikey, Alessandro and Emilio who treated us like friends and were so kind throughout our stay! Would return and in a great location!

Absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Moresco.. staff were all fantastic.. breakfast every morning was delightful.. eaten on the patio overlooking beautiful gardens surrounding the pool area, lovely breakfast, including fruit, cheeses, meats, breads & cakes, eggs including omlettes cooked fresh to order.. Waiting staff were absolutely lovely as were all staff at the hotel. I could not fault the hotel and will definitely be returning. Location was also perfect, quiet area but 5 mins up the road were restaurants & shops, 20 minute walk to the old town in one direction and 20 minute walk in the other direction to the harbour, so many restaurants in both directions. Every meal we had was wonderful. No beach as such, but private decking area at the bottom of the road overlooking the sea. Hotel & the island were perfection 🇮🇹❤️

Stayed at this hotel for the first time for a week in mid June and I had such a lovely relaxing stay. As a solo traveller I was delighted to receive a room upgrade on arrival and was shown around the hotel by a lady on reception which was a very nice touch to help settle in. |The room was spacious with a view of the garden. The room is very classic in design with tiled floor which gave an authentic Italian feel. There was a nice large wardrobe in the entry area with a safe, and a good sized bathroom. |The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept, with a large pool with no issues with getting a sunbed at any time. I found the hotels bathing deck just a short walk from the hotel to be a bit cooler with sunbeds always available. There is a bar serving food here as well as the pool bar. The pool temp is 28 degrees so always lovely for a dip. I was so relaxed on this holiday I didn’t even use the spa! |My biggest regret of this holiday is not booking half board, the comments about the food here are not underrated. I’ve spent the last 20 years going to Sorrento and surrounding areas and have to say that this was some of the best food and restaurant service I have experienced anywhere in Italy. It reminds me of the service that used to be offered in Sorrento when I first went. The small extras at dinner were superb, and I will remember the peanut brittle for a very long time! Special thanks to Dominique for refusing to take no for an answer when it came to dessert! |My biggest takeaway is how wonderful staff were with returning customers, of which there are many. I will be one of them next year!

The Hotel Il Moresco is a truly wonderful place to stay. My daughter and I had four fantastic days. The hotel staff are all very polite, helpful and friendly. The rooms very comfortable, well equipped and with very good air conditioning. We stayed in a 'superior' room which had a lovely balcony and lots of space, robes and slippers. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well looked after. The pool was never very busy and there is a pool bar to get food and drinks and a pool attendant, towels provided. The 'beach' is just a few minutes shady walk to where there is an area of decking over the sea again with plenty of loungers, towels provided, a bar and an attendant. You can step straight from the decking into the crystal clear sea and there is a small area of sand. The views are incredible. The choice of food at breakfast was incredible, everything was fresh and there was so much choice. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night and the food was delicious, the other nights we walked to nearby restaurants to eat. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the shops, bars and restaurants but feels so quiet and peaceful and eating out was very reasonable cost-wise. We loved Ischia itself, it's a beautiful island and we would love to explore it more. A truly memorable holiday. We will return!

They say it’s a home from home and couldn’t be more right! Our second visit as best friends and we were welcomed like old friends or VIPs!! A week of reuniting with the most gorgeous people - cannot speak more highly of them all; all the Salvatores, Mike the super cool and funny pool man, the gorgeous Alessandro, Carolina and her fantastic smile, MariaAngela, Sara, fabulous Antonetta on reception, Patrizia, Toni, to name but a few! Oh and Ugo on piano!|Once again we enjoyed the wonderful breakfast, so much choice… the lunches under the canopy at the pool, the comfortable - thankfully air conditioned cool rooms, and the incredible pool. I dream of the pool all year. The sea was beautifully warm and it never felt crowded despite it being later in the year. |We are already planning to come back for a third time so see you soon! Love Emma and Rachel!

Beautiful 5 star hotel on the fabulous island of Ischia. Nothing too much trouble and very peaceful and calming stay|Breakfast is as good as you’ll get anywhere with plenty of selection|Previous reviews have mentioned the meals are a bit expensive, well they’re not cheap but this is a 5 star hotel so to be expected and the food ambiance and attention are excellent . The wine is my only criticism, we ordered a bottle of wine from the wine list which was very expensive, 55 euros, and I’ve had better for under £7 from M&S but generally bar prices are only a little more than the local bars etc|Many bars and restaurants locally just a 5 min walk up the road and some really excellent fresh pasta restaurants down the hill, fish to die for also|All in all can’t wait to go back

We booked a 7 night stay at the Il Moresco, through Tui in the UK, a truly 5 star hotel. The design and furnishings are classic Italian and it’s spotless throughout the hotel and beautiful landscaped gardens. We stayed half board in a comfort room with a side view of the sea. ||Waiter service is not only at dinner but also at breakfast. ||There are many options for each of the four course dinner. An amuse-bouche was served, followed by self-serve at the salad bar. The first course and second were served by a waiter and a small selection of biscuits were served before a self-serve at the deserts on offer or cheese board. To be honest the helpings are very big and we felt guilty leaving what we could not eat. We soon discovered we could ask for smaller portions or skip the first course.||As I have special dietary requirements, the Restaurant Manager, Francesco was very helpful and the chef made special preparations for me. All waiters were very good, but special mention must be made of Loretta.||The reception staff are extremely helpful and Anna in particular helped us obtain further information regarding a pre-booked trip through Tui.||Mickey at the pool was so helpful and attentive. The large outdoor spa water pool is 26 degrees and the grotto 30 degrees, being fed via two water spouts.||The hotel beach (free loungers and towels) was well attended on the raised decking, with a bar that served drinks and snacks. You can reach the water via a ladder and it’s very shallow. ||A nearby public beach of Spiaggia di San Pietro can be reached if you walk through the nearby public park. The harbour/port and the castle are equi-distance from the hotel in either direction and there are many shops and cafes/restaurants nearby.||I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for rest, sophistication and relaxation. Frequented by multi nations but particularly the Italians, which is a good recommendation.

I’ve traveled a lot and stayed in some really incredible suites but this is probably the most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed at. The landscaping and the grounds are immaculate- flowers everywhere and hand painted tiles. Our room was cold and quiet, ideal for a hot summer holiday. This hotel is ideally located, steps away from its own little beach club, near the promenade of other restaurants, the gorgeous Corso Vittorio Colonna with all its shops and walking distance to the castle. Breakfast was great and they arranged transport to/from the port with their own shuttle service. Complimentary use of their spa whirlpools A 5 star stay, highly recommended
