Grand Hotel Il Moresco

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for a week in September. We loved everything about it, the pool (especially the grotto), the bagno (spectacular views of Vesuvius and the bay of Naples), the amazing staff, the best location. I could go on and on.|Thank you all at Il Moresco helping us relax after the most stressful 12 months. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel it is one of the best I have stayed in. We cant wait to return. Tomorrow please.

I'm writing this on the decking area at Il Moresco's bagno, on the day of our departure and, although it's a cloudy day, we really don't want to leave! From my vantage point here I can see Vesuvius; Capri; Procida. Ferries, hydrofoils and yachts scurry between the islands; there is always something to see - today there's a yacht regatta.||This is our second visit to Il Moresco - it was strongly recommended to us by some dear friends at home, and how right they were! Life here seems incredibly relaxing. It is a very well-run hotel, which seems to retain its staff for years (always a good sign). Breakfast around the thermally heated pool is a thoroughly enjoyable experience, with waiters who anticipate your needs and deliver them with smiling faces.||Our room, a junior suite, is sharply decorated, immaculately clean and utterly comfortable, occupying two floors at one end of the hotel. There are two terraces, one at each level, the upper one having sun beds and a swing seat. This is the place to drink a glass or two of Rucolino and gaze at the stars.||I have no doubt that we'll be back! Huge thanks to Salvatore and all of the hotel employees who made our stay so hugely enjoyable.

My husband and I are lately returned from the Il Moresco Hotel on the Italian island of Ischia, having enjoyed a wonderful stay. The hotel itself is very beautiful, with comfortable public areas and spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean rooms. All the staff we had any dealings with were extremely friendly and helpful, with the manager giving us a tour of the hotel and grounds when we arrived. |The pool is a thermal one, fed from natural springs and is heated to 28 degrees and the 'grotto' is heated to 30 degrees! This makes for a truly luxurious swimming experience. Downstairs in the hotel is the spa, with another heated (30 degrees), thermal pool, sauna, steam room and comfy loungers to help you make the most of your experiences there. Although we did not avail ourselves of any treatments, the staff were very welcoming.|The gardens of the hotel are immaculately cared for and are full of trees, palms and all manner of plants that add colour and drama to the pool area. Breakfast by the pool was a special treat as it meant enjoying the gardens in that quiet time before the sun loungers started to be occupied.|Although the Il Moresco is not on the beach, it does have a 'beach club' a very short walk away. The decked area is spacious, with toilet/changing facilities, many loungers and a bar/cafe. It juts out over the sea to give an impression of being on board ship! Again the staff here are brilliant, opening and rearranging sun umbrellas as required.|Our travelling companions were my sister and brother-in-law and they completely share our views of this wonderful hotel. My sister has coeliac disease, and so requires a gluten free diet - the hotel were more than accommodating and she was very generously catered for by staff who understood the implications and necessity of her needs. Everything was handled discreetly and without drama!||Overall, we had an absolutely brilliant time here and would thoroughly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

A beautiful gem of a hotel in a great location between the port and the castello - an easy walk in either direction. The pool is a good size and often has spare beds throughout the day as most folks head your way the beach bathing platform - which is great although you need to be prompt to get the better beds but again there is churn throughout the day so if not fussy which spot then generally beds are available. Breakfast was good and lunch by the pool or beach was also good but we ate out for dinner. The hotel team were all brilliant - really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. This hotel is all you want from a dreamy Italian holidays. Please, stop looking and just book it. They have it all, I am not even going into detail, too many things. You will love it here, I promise. The hotel is ellegant and spotless, services were five stars but what made it unforgettable was the staff, they were all top of the tops. We will be back.

This hotel is an absolute gem. A little slice of paradise. Service was excellent. Spotlessly clean throughout. Beautiful ( traditional) rooms. Fabulous food. Excellent views. Breakfast offer was extensive with omelette cooked to order. Photograph attached shows breakfast view. Oh how we wish we were still there!

Hotel "Il Moresco" is located in one of the most exclusive areas of the beautiful island of Ischia. It is a vast property, which in addition to the magnificent hotel building, includes beautiful gardens with lush vegetation and a swimming pool and a fascinating grotto with thermal water. The whole complex is perfectly maintained. This is a classic five-star hotel with a refined and elegant style. The staff is friendly and always helpful. |The entire hotel is classically furnished, with unique Mediterranean atmosphere. My room was spacious and bright, with small balcony. There are excellent products in the minibar and bathrooms. Meals are served in an elegant restaurant "La Pergola", full of beautiful plants, that overlooks the garden and swimming pool. The quality of the products and the service are impeccable. The menu, which reflects the local culinary tradition, is changed daily. There is also another, more informal, open-air bar and restaurant near the pool. At the hotel bar there is musical entertainment every evening. In addition to the aforementioned open pools, there is a beautiful spa, with sauna, Turkish bath, Kneipp path, indoor pool with thermal water, and rooms for numerous treatments. |I highly recommend this excellent hotel, especially to those who prefer one with tradition and classic style, for a perfect holiday or just a short weekend break.

5 stars because I couldn’t give more! I have enjoyed every moment spent at this hotel. The location is excellent. The rooms and facilities are spacious, clean and very well organised. But what really makes a difference is the staff in this hotel - absolutely superb. From reception to restaurant, spa and pool all incredibly welcoming, professional and super kind - always going the extra mile with every request. Would highly recommend a stay at this hotel for anyone visiting Ischia. Breakfast is also excellent.
