This is a lovely modern hotel in a traditional sandstone building. |We drove to Dijon and were met at the door by a very friendly and helpful doorman. He took our luggage to the room and valet parked our car.| The decor is contemporary with a focus on red. The room was quite large and had a window looking out to the street, which is a lovely view. As you walk into the room, to one side is a large walk-in robe with plenty of room for suitcases. On the other side of a modern bathroom with a window into the main room; there is a curtain which provides.|The location is excellent with the main shopping area just around the corner and there was easy walking to the ducal palaces and downtown.

There is a small space outside the main entrance to park cars temporarily and unload luggage. It was a shame, that the main entrance had no ramp for cases. The reception staff were friendly, efficient and kept our luggage, before we could access the room (3pm). The location is perfect in the centre of Dijon. Our room facing the garden of the hotel was modern and clean. There could have been more surface space for personal toiletries in the bathroom. Perhaps a shelf under the sink? The shower was great. We enjoyed the breakfast. We also enjoyed the wine tasting, which can be booked extra on certain evenings. We had a drink at the hotel bar, but it didn’t appear to be air conditioned compared to the rest of the hotel, so we didn’t stay long. We also ate at the restaurant (separate review).

This was our post-cruise extension with Viking. We loved the hotel. Beautiful, pristinely clean, very courteous employees. Every employee spoke to you. Housekeeping did a beautiful job. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The hotel is close to everything, across the street from the Porte Guillaume and the historic city center. Our stay was lovely, and this wonderful hotel was a big part of that experience.

As we come every summer we love staying at the Hôtel. It is well located, short walk to everything. The rooms have a good size and are very comfortable, clean and with a good design. Breakfastbuffet is great. Frontdesk straff are mostly friendly and helpfull, it varies a bit. Love the breakfast straff but most of all love Isaak.

When the man behind reception deigned to acknowledge my arrival, he told me he was the General Manager so couldn’t check me in. Warm welcome then. Otherwise lovely check in staff, great valet/parking, beautiful courtyard. Spa and room service not child friendly. Bar staff inattentive and disinterested- you want to go and get your own drink you get fed up with trying to get their attention. The bed of my suite wasn’t made up - no mattress protection or cover so receptionist and I did it! Considering what we paid a disappointment but not a lot of competition has possibly made this hotel complacent.

We stayed here as it was the only 5 star place in Dijon.|The room was small but comfortable. Good air con. Bathroom ok.|No one around when we turned up for valet parking. Better when we left tho!|Big problem is the lack of room service outside the lunch and dinner service. Strange. It’s a big hotel to be doing “no food” for 5 hours a day. The outside bar was difficult to get service in, due to a lack of attentiveness of staff. In fact we waited, then left. |It was ok, but nothing to write home about.

We’re from Australia and had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for three nights — and what an incredible experience it was!||||From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, genuine smiles from every staff member. The reception team was especially outstanding — professional, helpful, and sincerely kind, setting the tone for a wonderful stay.||||Our room was absolutely beautiful and spotless — truly immaculate in every detail.||||On our first night, we decided to try the hotel restaurant without a reservation. Although it was fully booked, a gentleman — possibly the manager — went out of his way to find us a table. We’re so grateful he did, as the food was nothing short of perfection, and the service was just as impressive.||||The bar is also a fantastic spot for lunch — delicious food and welcoming staff made it a real highlight.||||Breakfast each morning was equally exceptional, with a great variety and the same wonderful service we experienced throughout our stay.||||This hotel is far more than just a place to sleep — it offers a truly memorable experience. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. We had an outstanding authentic French dinner there. The breakfast spread was extensive and fresh. Even though our room faced the town Square, it was quiet. The location was convenient to walk to many attractions. My only negative was no TV stations with English.

Yelp
We had a fabulous stay here. The staff, the facility, and the rooms were all great. Where it really matters in a smaller sized town, the front desk staff was there to open up the dirt to you through restaurant, recommendations, which were very good, and taxi services. Our room was well appointed with goof furniture, and a very nice bathroom which made the living space more open; remember in France, often times the WC is in a separate room from the shower. There was a lovely restaurant, witch very attentive staff, and good food Room service was quick, and friendly.

Yelp
Great location, good restaurant and friendly informative staff. Stayed here for a few days. If you have a room facing the park across the street you are greeted in the morning with a nice sunrise view. The room was clean and spacious. Restaurant served various breakfast both local and regional. Dinner here with the atrium view was pleasant and enjoyable. Parking is convenient and safe. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone traveling in the area.

Yelp
For the staff of La Cloche I would rate as 5 stars. I knock one star off for the room. While fairly comfortable I did find that it lacked air circulation. Just one vent for the room was not quite sufficient in keeping the room cool, especially after two showers are taken. We were on the top floor and this may be unique to the room we had. Great location - just a 5 minute walk from the train station and from the hotel all of downtown Dijon is an easy walk.

Yelp
The staff was very friendly and the location is perfect! The room included a king size bed and had a wonderful view of Dijon. We were lucky in that it was a cool early Fall weekend so it wasn't too warm but in the heat of summer the rooms may get warm as there is no air conditioning. The rate we found on Expedia was a great deal and the continental breakfast was DELICIOUS. Amazing full French breakfast unlike anything we've experienced before!
