We stayed at Grand Hotel le Rocce for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The hotel sits on a cliff with breathtaking sea views, the setting is magical. The rooms are a bit small, but more than comfortable for sleeping, and honestly, you won’t want to stay inside when everything else is so amazing. The beach is peaceful and protected, perfect for swimming and relaxing. The pool area is lovely as well, with plenty of spots to lounge and enjoy the view. The food and drinks are excellent, and the staff is incredibly kind and attentive. The atmosphere is serene, welcoming, and truly unforgettable. Overall, a beautiful, relaxing, and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Le Rocce is a hidden gem! The views are absolutely breathtaking — waking up to that panorama feels like a dream. The seafood at the restaurant is some of the best we’ve had: fresh, flavorful, and served with care. The beach is peaceful and protected — no wind, calm water, and even a little cave to explore nearby. Perfect for families! Our kids swam for hours in the gentle sea. The only small downside was the humidity in the room. All our clothes from the luggage ended up feeling damp, and the AC seemed to make the air even more humid. Not a big issue, but worth noting. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely return for the views, food, and tranquil beach vibe!

Our stay at LE Rocce was phenomenal. We have zero complaints from the day we arrived to the time we left 5 days later. The service was attentive, yet not overbearing. Every time we needed a question answered, someone was there to help us. The beach always had available chairs and umbrellas, the breakfast was the best we had in all of Italy (American standards I guess), and the lunch and dinner spots were always available for guests, as they limit the availability for locals and others. Oh, and the food - everything we tried was great!!! One small suggestion though would be to make a corking fee available. We found local wines to be great, but not available at the restaurant. It’s not a knock on the place itself, but maybe a suggestion for improvement. We highly recommend it!!

Just back from a lovely weekend away at the Grand Hotel le Rocce. Stayed in a standard room with a balcony and really enjoyed it. Room had a super king bed and was very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and had a fantastic view looking down to the beach. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful. Good choice of delicious food in a superb setting. Mostly ate out in Gaeta, 15 mins away, but did have an evening meal once and that too was nice. Loved the pool area, but particularly enjoyed the beach and sea. Beautiful hotel, fantastic location, very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I have just returned froma fabulous weekend break at the hotel. We booked a standard room but it was spacious, clean, well maintained and had a superb sea view. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, food was lovely, and everywhere was lovely and clean and well maintained. Hotel is in a beautiful location with its own beach and sea access and is about 10 mins by car from Gaeta. Overall, fabulous, we loved it. Thank you all.

Amazing location...one of the most beautiful hotels I ever stayed at. The staff was extremely polite. Wow...what a gem of a hotel. The beach is private and all sand. Dinner was superb. Breakfast buffet is wonderful. My room had a million dollar view.

The hotel is situated in the best location of the coast - in the beautiful green surroundings right by the sea, middle of the nature and well maintained premises. It has a small private sandy beach with cristal clear water and a pool (in the garden's top floor level). The views are marvellous - on a clear day you can see the island of Ischia and Santo Stefano. The service first class, rooms of adequate size with balconies or terraces and comfortable beds and pillows, good A/C, breakfast abundant (serving savory and sweet options) and possibility to enjoy it on the terrace. Also the dinner was good. Free parking is guaranteed for customers and the Gaeta is some 6,5 km drive away.||The only negative matter is that it does not have a lift, so if you are physically disabled, do not consider to stay here. Also the signs could be more noticeable, guiding to the beach, pool, restaurant and lunch restaurant.||One more positive note: music is played in the background elegantly giving and the sounds of nature are allowed to take center stage.||All in all - this hotel is a great place to stay and it is a real retreat of tranquility.

Unbelievable location - ocean views! We felt like we were staying at a "White Lotus" filming location! Felt like an authentic Italian hotel with picturesque views of the ocean - cut into the cliff. Amazing restaurant for dinner, unforgettable free breakfast each morning. We finished our European vacation here with a few days to do nothing but unwind by the pool and ocean. Great bar drinks and poolside sandwiches. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar in the evenings. ||One note: There are many stairs and no elevator, so not ideal for someone with mobility issues. One other note is that the hotel is outside of town, so taxis are appox $20 EU each way to old town and $40 EU to the train station. Something to think about if you do not have a rental car.

Yelp
My husband and I ended our Italy trip in Geata as we wanted to stay in a more remote area of Italy on our way back from Amalfi coast to Rome. We took the train into the city, and got a 15 minute taxi drive to the hotel. We decided to book Albergo as they had one of the best TripAdvisor reviews in the area (plus a private beach), however we didn't realize that it is about a 20 minute drive to the town center - which will cost you a $15 taxi. They have a city bus, but it does not run that often (only once an hour on the weekends, and less during the week). However, we still enjoyed our time in Geata. The hotel was nice and clean, and the grounds were kept up nicely. Our plan was to relax in Geata and that's exactly what we did. The beach area was decent (clean, crystal clear water), and they also have free lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas. In addition, they have a nice freshwater pool at the top of the resort, however the hot tub wasn't what I would consider a "hot" tub. It was basically the same temp of the pool and had jacuzzi jets. For our room we got a King suite that faced the ocean. The room could have used some updating, but I thought it was all apart of the old Italian charm of the resort. The patio off our room was HUGE and had a bistro table and lounge chairs. Apart of our room rental included breakfast, which was really nice. The spread included everything from eggs to croissants and fruit. A nice mix of options. Breakfast was served at the only restaurant at the resort, and we also went there for dinner. For Dinner my husband and I got the veal marsala and filet. Both were amazing, but the tiramisu was the best for dessert!!! I would give the restaurant for dinner 5 stars! Overall for the value, Albergo, was a great place to stay and somewhere to consider if you want to avoid the touristy area of Italy.
