Grand Hôtel Lille

Perfect location, close to both the train station and the city centre. The rooms are small and compact, but very modern and equipped with all the essentials. Everything was very clean. The only inconvenience is that you can hear the noise from the neighbouring rooms. Nice continental breakfast, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Worth staying for a couple of nights.

The Hotel has a great central location in Lille, making it easy to reach all major attractions, shops and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful at all times. For us the room was a little on the small side with little space for clothes but we were on a two night break so not a major issue. We were on the 5th floor and the lift is only suitable for 2 adults. No lounge/relaxation area, which was a shame. Overall a good stay and we would recommend

Great little hotel with 4 floors and a lift, and very clean comfortable smart rooms that are decorated to high standards! Standard French breakfast that had a great range of breads butter & marge and various spreads from honey to chocolate! A modern coffee machine disperses all requirements! Late breakfast and checkout times make your stay totally unrushed!

Hotel with an excellent location in the center of Lille, a short walk from Flandre station and right in the heart of the city. Simple, comfortable rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast.

While not a full service hotel, it fits occupy an enviable location overlooking the main square and has a just decent buffet breakfast. The front dear can be helpful in a limited fashion and they do respond to complaints in a reasonable way. The roof top bar is a good p place to hang out and the drink prices are better than fair. One tip, don't be confused by the Grand Hotel sign on a commercial building directly on the square. The real hotel entrance is two lefts past that.

10 minutes walk from Eurostar, ideal location good and helpful staff on sites, restaurants and bars ( which were very good) hotel very clean, breakfast good plenty and we will return to visit this lovely city. Thank you to the staff for there help

Had five nights at the Grand whilst watching the start of the Tour de France. Wanted somewhere close to both Lille Europe and Lille Flanders stations and the hotel proved ideal.|Our room on the first floor was quite small and a little tired looking but clean, however there were no drawers and limited shelving. The bed was good and though there was no aircon, a large fan was provided which operated very quietly. We overlooked a small inner courtyard so had no view but had the benefit of being very quiet. The bathroom was ‘bijoux’ in the extreme but well appointed with a large and well-lit mirror. Plentiful handwash and shower gel was available, though the toilet tissue was of dubious quality!|Breakfast was plentiful and good value and the breakfast room itself very pleasant.|Generally speaking, the hotel proved ideal given the purpose of our visit.

The room was pretty clean, confortable enought ; the hotel is well located ; breakfast is ok but... no airco; no fresh air in the room. we had to sleep with the windows open and fight hundreds of mosquitoe's. I personnally wasn't able to sleep before 3 A.M. ||
