Grand Hôtel Lille

Perfect location, staff and service were excellent. Our room was quite small but had everything we needed and very clean and the bathroom was lovely. A fridge would have been handy but all in all great value for money

Very central, clean well maintained and friendly staff. What’s not to like? Typical French breakfast,good choice. We will come back next time we are in Lille . So close to the station and most of the places to visit on your check list in this lovely cit.

Convenient location, right in front of lille station, near the center. Enthusiastic staff. Room quality is okay, nice window view. Breakfast is quite bad. One note, the back of the building is a pub or something else. I could hear drunk kids screaming all night long for the 3 days I was there. Not a problem for a night owl like me.

Weekend away in Lille (Sat-Mon). Good location between Gare Lille Flanders station and Theatre. 10 min walk to Eurostar. Rooms clean with modern compact bathroom (great shower). Breakfast is continental with cereals and cold meats. Staff were exceptional, knowledgeable and a credit to the hotel. Thank you.

Stayed here for a Pokémon tournament at the Lille Grand Palais. This hotel was a perfect spot and a short walk from the centre, Eurostar station and lots of restaurants! Stayed in a triple room with 3 singles and it was perfect, a little tight but to be expected with 3 single beds, so not a problem. Ensuite was modern and looked like it had been recently done up, clean shower and modern fittings. Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't have this, but smelt good each morning. Great value and a great location, will definitely return.

This hotel is neat and convenient for the rail stops at Lille Europe and Lille Flandres railway stations nearby. I really appreciated the lovely friendly check-in and interaction to help with getting my breakfast as French isn't my best language.

We stayed in 2018 and again a few weeks ago. Hôtel has changed management perhaps but such a great location, rooms spotless with updated bathrooms, all the mod cons from home, comfortable bed. Great breakfasts with a full variety of yummy things to suit every palate. Well-situated near Gare de Flandres, historic city Centre and Palais des Beaux-Arts. We’ll be back.

I don't normally consider hotels classified as 2 stars, but following previous reviews I gave Brand Hotel a go. And so glad i did. First the position, close to Euro star station and to town centre, Old Town, and to metro for further exploration. Very friendly and warm welcome in reception, and lift to 4th floor for my room. The room looked newly refurbished, very clean, comfortable, and although small was comfortable and included a chair and stool to sit on as well as the bed. Tiny shower room, but again very clean and fantastic shower, and good sized soft towels. Wifi excellent. easy to get into and very fast and strong. Comfortable bed, I slept very well.||All rooms are at the back of the hotel, and so the view from the window is of other rears of neighbouring buildings; but I didnt book the hotel for the view - and the whole city is just outside the front door.||The only things lacking were a kettle to make hot drinks, and no English TV channels - BBC news was the only English channel, and that didnt work. But otherwise a great stay, I would certainly book this again and recommend to thers for stays in Lille.
