The hotel stay ended with a serious accident in the Wellness & Spa area and complete disappointment with the level of safety. During two visits to the SPA there was no staff present, and between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. the area operates entirely without supervision, which guests are not informed about.|The accident occurred on a wet, unmarked floor, which caused a fall and a broken toe. The changing room was similarly wet and poorly maintained. The hotel did not confirm that proper warning signs were in place on the day of the accident.|Particularly concerning is the absence of a lifeguard and any rescue equipment in the pool area, despite the facility’s parameters requiring constant supervision. Additionally, there was no CCTV monitoring at the accident site, which made it impossible to obtain footage for the insurer and undermines the safety standards of such a sensitive area.|What was most disappointing was the lack of staff response at the moment of the incident — no one noticed the accident or offered assistance. The suggestion to call an ambulance was made only after I reported the incident by phone from my room, many minutes after the accident. Upon returning from the hospital, no help or follow-up actions were offered either.|Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide the level of safety that one would expect from a facility of this standard.

Following its recent renovation, the Grand Hotel manages an impressive balancing act: historic grandeur paired with contemporary luxury. The interiors are refined, the details carefully thought through, and the use of fine Polish porcelain and glassware adds a charming sense of authenticity — a subtle reminder that you are somewhere with a story to tell. The rooms are spacious, individually designed, and wonderfully comfortable, offering a calm retreat from the lively street below. Modern amenities blend seamlessly with classic style, making it easy to feel both pampered and at ease. Wellness facilities deserve special mention. The spa, indoor pool, steam bath, and massage services offer a welcome invitation to slow down — because even elegance needs a moment to relax. Dining and drinks are equally enjoyable, with a restaurant serving Polish and international cuisine and a bar well suited for an unhurried evening conversation (or two). Add to this pet-friendly policies, helpful services, and attentive staff, and the experience feels thoughtfully complete. Grand Hotel Łódź is more than just a place to sleep — it is a symbol of the city’s history, charm, and quiet confidence. A hotel you don’t merely stay in, but one you remember — and very likely return to. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates character, comfort, and a touch of old-world grace.

The Hotel Grand is another phenomenal renovation project forming part of the Likus group of hotels. There are very few examples of hotels with such excellent architecture coupled with fantastic execution and attention to detail. The rooms and all the public spaces are superb, the spa in particular is excellent. Service is friendly and professional, as you would expect from a 5* hotel. That said, there is room for improvement - we ordered a bottle of red wine from room service. The restaurant was empty so it should have been a 5 minute trip to our room. We were promised the wine in 20 minutes (far too long to start with). We were then called 15 minutes later to ask if we wanted a different bottle of wine instead. We didn't, we wanted one of the three reds in the room service menu, which the hotel should ensure are always available (or else they should update the menu). We received a different bottle 25 minutes after ordering. With one glass instead of two, and the second glass 5 minutes later. So a total of half an hour to incorrectly fulfil a simple order from an empty restaurant in a 5* hotel. Otherwise - excellent.

Went back to the Grand Hotel after 20 years. When I last visited it had a great cocktail bar lined with vibrant, glamorous night birds of all types. It had a wonderful ambience and connection with the spirit of the past. Now changed for a more modern vibe.

The hotel is very beautiful, and the staff was generally kind and polite. The wellness and spa area was excellent and one of the highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, the New Year’s Eve experience was very disappointing. The dinner service was extremely slow, with long waiting times between courses. While we were still waiting for dinner to be served, the New Year’s party had already started, so we missed a significant part of the celebration that we had paid for. For such an important event, better organization and timing are essential. Although the hotel has many positive aspects, the poor management of the New Year’s Eve dinner and event negatively affected our overall experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! 👍 The staff were extremely polite and friendly. The room had everything we needed and felt very comfortable. We especially appreciated that the hotel has a spa and a restaurant (unfortunately, we couldn’t visit it as there was a wedding that day). The only small downsides were a broken balcony handle and a slightly dusty table, but it didn’t affect our stay at all. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time ❤️ Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax both body and soul!

I stayed at the Grand Hotel Łódź at the end of August, and while our stay was otherwise very pleasant, my iPad was damaged by the valet parking staff while my car was being parked. I reported the incident immediately to the hotel staff before our departure. They handled the situation professionally at the time and advised me to send an email with photos of the damage, which I did right away. After several weeks without any response, I called the hotel and was told that my message had been forwarded to the person responsible and that I should expect a reply shortly. Unfortunately, no response ever came. I sent a follow-up email, but to this day I have not received a single reply. This kind of lack of communication is not acceptable and certainly not the level of service one expects from a five-star hotel. In addition, our car was parked outside, where it became dirty, even though we were under the impression that valet parking meant the car would be stored indoors. Either the parking arrangement itself was questionable, as it appeared accessible to other people, or the valet driver used the car for personal driving. This concern was further raised when we later found a photo of our car on a car-spotting website, taken in a very unusual location.

Can I give 10 stars? This is the premiere hotel of Łódź. This is perfection. It could be in any major city in the world and it's in Łódź. This review is for the hotel and the restaurant. They have only been open a few weeks and will only continue to add to the amazing thing they are creating. The design is sleek and modern. The rooms are warm and inviting. Modern features to make your stay so welcoming. The staff is a gem and eager to help in any way they can. And the restaurant! From breakfast, to lunch, to dinner, knocks every dish out of the park. I would argue this is the best restaurant in Łódź. Amazing bar, solid wine selection! Anyway if you find yourself in Łódź, get your butt here!
