Our stay at the Grand Hotel Palace was absolutely perfect. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautiful with a wonderful balcony. We were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco and a personalized note from the staff. Such a nice touch. The location was perfect within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. The staff at the desk answered every question and were so helpful arranging taxis. I want to send out a special thank you to Manuel at the desk. He asked us before we checked out if we got everything out of our safe. And oh my goodness, we had left our passports in there. We would've been in such a mess getting home if it wasn't for him. He saved us and we are so grateful to him. I highly recommend the Grand Hotel Palace in Rome! Loved it!

Very elegant and modern but maintained the older aspects of the building. Comfortable beds. Spacious/modern bathroom. Get a top floor (7th floor) room with balcony. Enjoy your morning coffee/espresso from the balcony. Service was perfect. Made it easy get taxis.

I travel to Rome pretty regularly and am always on the lookout for a gem. GHP is one of them. We always try to stay in this area of Rome because it is usually less crowded, yet an easy walk to most of the famous sites. Located on the famous Via Vittorio Veneto, across from the US embassy, it's perfectly placed for eating, shopping or to just enjoy being Rome. From the time we arrived to checkout, it was a fantastic experience. Upon arrival we were quickly greeted by the bellman, who took care of our luggage as we checked in. The check in process was mostly seamless, although we did have to wait a couple hours for our room to be ready, which I fully expected as we arrived at 9am.However they were able to accommodate us before typical check in time. I took the time to take care of some work items and had a snack. When we arrived in our room, our bags were already there and we took a little time to enjoy the wonderful view of Via Vitttorio Veneto. The room was large and comfortable. I had thought I booked a room with a terrace, as I would normally do, but I did not. It was fine though as the large windows opened fully giving the feeling of having a terrace when opened and allowing the cool air and hustle and bustle of the city in. Close the windows and you still have a great view with very little traffic noise. The bed was large and comfortable; we were able to rest well. The bathroom is a touch small, but normal for Italy. The shower was roomy and the water pressure was great. Our room was tended to twice a day. Once for make up and once for turn down. We spent time at the spa our second day and the experience was excellent. The environment was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. We did not eat in the full restaurant, however the breakfast was a typical Italian style mixed with American items. We had a nightcap each night at the bar, and while it is small, they have what you'll want and again, the staff were wonderful. Have an espresso martini, they are great. They also offer a fantastic wine selection, with something for every budget. I have found it to be rare to have a 'poor' experience at a higher end hotel in Rome, and GHP continued our tradition of great stays there. The little things they did made the stay very enjoyable, like sending a small birthday gift to our room, when I never mentioned that it was my birthday. I would highly recommend GHP to anyone, and I believe you'll enjoy your time.

Pros|- The general look and feel of the interior design are simply great, with the perfect blend of modern and classic aesthetics. It really does feel premium in all aspects.|- The bathroom is very spacious and the walk-in shower is fantastic. However, the excess use of marble may give somebody the feeling of a dark room.|- Breakfast is great but some more options for vegetarians would be a nice addition. Also, the coffee is, as expected from an Italian restaurant, beyond great.|- The mini outside lounge is perfect for a morning coffee, right when you are about to start that city break in Rome|- The view from the balcony is perfect and it offers a spacious area to grab a coffee and enjoy a good book.|- WiFi connection is strong and reliable offering good speeds all around the facility||Cons|Some of the fixtures are starting to look a bit outdated. The TV is also in need for an upgrade, a slim bezel model would fit much better the overall aesthetics of the room. However this is not a dealbreaker.||Conclusion|One of the best hotels in Rome, with central location, great views from the balcony, fantastic interior design and extraordinary services.

We stayed at this hotel during our 6 days long Rome trip and we could not have chosen a better accommodation option to our taste: it was located within walking distance to touristic spots yet, quite away from the touristic commotion and chaos; it was like a palace yet reasonably priced for that ambiance, clean, efficient in every sense, we truly loved it. ||We stayed at room no 105 which was very spacious and well decorated. All amenities were in place including even cell phone and Apple Watch chargers. We had a complimentary Prosecco in our room which was a very nice gesture. ||We had not opted for an included breakfast while making the reservation but we loved the overall ambiance of the breakfast room and so, had breakfast here 2 mornings. It was a bit expensive but the open buffet was very rich and satisfactory. A la carte ordering is also an option for breakfast. ||There is also a spa at the hotel but we did not have the time to try it. ||Last but not least, the staff. They were very efficient, very competent on their job, working very swiftly and professionally. ||Hadn't we stayed at Grand Hotel Palace Rome, our Rome trip would not be this perfect.

This was our first trip to Rome and we were welcomed to the Hotel by Mirko, who throughout our stay ensured we made the most of the city with helpful hints and advice. |The Hotel is clean and comfortable and within walking distance of the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. Arranging a Taxi is no problem and all the staff were helpful and courteous.|Breakfast was good with a varied choice and a relaxing drink in the bar in the evening after a day spent sightseeing was welcome.

A great hotel and lovely staff. We spent three nights in Rome and the Grand Hotel Palace was the perfect choice for us. Our room was magnificent, the marble bathroom was huge and the large balcony was breathtaking. The restaurant's magnificent murals and beautiful interior were delightful. Definitely a 5 star hotel. I can highly recommend the hotel and would be happy to come again.

We enjoyed our stay here but think the 5 star rating is a little high, more like a 4 star hotel. Having said that, the room and bed were very comfortable and staff very helpful. The breakfast was a decent selection of fresh produce.
