Grand Hotel Parker's (Naples, Province of Naples) 14 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Naples is probably best known for its thrillingly chaotic urbanity, but the Grand Hotel Parker's belongs to another side of the city — the side exemplified by the graceful curve of the waterfront, the splendid architectural treasures, and the hilly neighborhood slopes, like stadium seating for the blue Mediterranean stage set to the south." - Tablet Hotels

We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay at Grand Parkers. Breakfast on the terrace looking across the bay with Vesuvius dominating the skyline was such a great way to start each day! The hotel itself is a beautiful building (a wonderful blend of old world charm and modern elements), staff are really friendly and food was delicious - breakfast was enough to set you up for a full day exploring Napoli and the surrounding area! Sipping cocktails at sunset on the terrace definitely a memorable experience! Obviously pricing is aligned with 5* rating, but overall felt it was worth the premium. The location is great for views across the bay, but does mean a walk back up the hill....or a taxi, to save your legs!

We had a really lovely stay — the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and all the facilities are excellent. The room was top-notch: clean, comfortable, and very well designed. The overall service and atmosphere were truly at the level of a high-end establishment. The only small downside for us was the food. We’re not sure if it was because we were using a voucher or not, but both at breakfast and dinner, while the quality was good, it just wasn’t exceptional. It felt a bit ordinary compared to the rest of the experience. Given how impressive the hotel, the service, and the surroundings are, we were expecting something a little more special in terms of dining.

What a wonderful stay we had here. Beautiful room, amazing view of mount Vesuvius, Sorrento, Capri and the bay of Naples. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially Marco & Vincenzo who helped us book trips to Pompeii, Ercolano and Mt Vesuvius and we always had a good time in their company. The hotel is spotless and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are very friendly and attentive in the restaurant. Especially Teresa.

We found the Grand Hotel Parker’s every bit as exceptional as we had hoped. Excellent and attentive services. We also found the restaurants on the floor to be of high quality. The room was cleaned thoroughly and on-time every day. We also took one evening to eat at George and the tasting menu was exceptional. Lastly, excellent and friendly concierges who were a real pleasure to consult.

The hotel itself is great. Beautiful and away from busy downtown Naples. The staff is excellent - especially Marco the Concierge! But the front desk team is also quite nice and very helpful. The breakfast is outstanding and everyone is so very accommodating. The reason for the 4* review is the room itself. There were areas that needed a bit of paint. And the bathtub/shower is problematic as others have mentioned. It’s is very difficult to regulate the water temperature and the tub does not drain during a shower. Hard to imagine that this cannot be fixed. |Still - it is easy to recommend this wonderful hotel as the issues are inconvenient but not enough to override the upsides of this property

Google
Lovely hotel, well located. Amazing view ofrom the roof terrace. Way over priced for what is offered. Lovely and helpful staff, but no one at the curb to help with luggage, a concierge that starts their service at 11:00, very poor food quality and offering at their standard restaurant. Executive room with sea view booked, but a large room with wasted space offered instead of the sea view. No effort made to remedy any of this.

A superb hotel. Relatively recently renovated, and the renovation is great, with the hotel feeling current and contemporary without sacrificing its historic charm. The breakfast is high quality and generous; the bar mixes terrific drinks at sunset. The WiFi is fast and the towels and linens are great. The windows are well insulated so it’s reasonably quiet, which is more than I can say for many luxury hotels in Italy. And the views, of course, are otherworldly! Much better than any hotel I know in my hometown of New York, and much better than any hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Rome.

Yelp
By far away, one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel extremely welcomed by the staff. The hotel has been newly renovated. The rooms are very quiet, but yet very spacious and have a modern upgrades to them. The hotel itself feels very luxurious. Going up to the terrace for breakfast or in the evening. The views of the city are absolutely incredible. I was fortunate to have a balcony and a view of the city. During breakfast, the owner was making the rounds taking to the guests that were visiting, which was something unique. But just the overall customer centric experience that the hotel provided was absolutely impeccable. The Grand Hotel Parker's is one the oldest hotels in Naples. An is apart of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. I was able to redeem 4 nights worth of Hyatt points. I cannot say enough about how incredible stay was!

Yelp
The staff at this hotel makes the experience a 5 star hotel. I just can't say enough about each and everyone I interacted with during our stay. I also had the opportunity to meet the owner who comfortably walked over and introduced himself during breakfast. Interacting with many of the customers, He was looking for feedback. Food was good. Rooms were comfortable. Just an overall great experience.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel with impeccable service. Arrived early and was directed to terrace where we enjoyed the gorgeous view with some drinks and snacks. Room is comfortable, concierge service is always helpful and the location is a nice break from the bustle of Naples.

Yelp
The hotel is ok. Staff was nice enough but the restaurant is disgusting. The service was awful and the food was literally inedible. It's a 5 star hotel and they fed us the worst food we ate in our 14 days in Italy. The hotel may overlook the water but it's not near anything. The shower takes a plumber to figure out how to work it and water gets everywhere. The mini bar is pitiful and they give a complementary bottle of wine and there is no opener in the room to open it! They offer fire sticks but the. Tv in my room couldn't accommodate it.

Yelp
This hotel was the best pick for us in Napoli, and there was nothing about it that we did not love. The rooftop restaurant here alone was worth the stay. Clean room with a beautiful balcony and lots of small but much needed amenities in it. We didn't have a spectacular view, but the view that we did have was so captivating in a rustic sort of way. The elevator was cute and very charming, but again, the view from the restaurant up top early in the morning is truly wonderful.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel! From the entrance, to lobby, to the downstairs bar. They have multiple classy sitting areas that you can have a cocktail and bar snack. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Once upstairs on our floor (5th floor)I walked into a bright white and beautiful elevator area. Once in the room there was a full mini bar and spacious, split bathroom. Multiple lighting options, HUGE king bed, big desk, spacious closet and chase lounge. There were beautiful French doors that led out to a small patio with the most gorgeous views of Bay of Naples. If you stayed on the 5th floor you had your own service elevator to the gym. It's night we got in we were starving but didn't want to leave to hotel so went to the sixth floor to the restaurant George's. All I can say is WOW. Best meal I've EVER had. Decided on the 6 course meal and it was the best decision ever. I chose to pair the courses with wine and omg best wine I had the entire trip in Italy! Afterward to to the champagne bar where the views are stunning. While I stayed here they offered a car service for the day so I took advantage and went down to the Amalfi Coast and was the best part of my trip. The only bad thing about my stay was the fact that they were doing construction work and didn't let their guest know they'd be working at 6 in the morning. Other than that beautiful stay at a elegant hotel. Would definitely book again!

Yelp
The staff is amazing, their level of customer service and diligence is fantastic. From every greeting to interaction and your meals, they are always providing a 5 star experience. The hotel has renovated floors with modern elements and gorgeous bathrooms. Please be sure to request a renovated room if you are used to more luxurious rooms. But what you get at the Grand Hotel Parker's is a phenomenal view and a private balcony! It's stunning. Overlooking the bay, Mount Vesuvius and Naples. All of the street facing rooms have this impeccable view. Breakfast was included very morning which was actually really good. It was continental and warm foods (eggs, meat, salmon, etc). The servers were consistently checking in and offering casual conversation which was great. Doesn't hurt that mimosas are included during brunch. We enjoyed the downstairs bar as well, the servers were more than attentive. Unfortunately due to renovations, we were not able to see the incredible rooftop bar nor use the spa amenities, but if the renovations are anything like the rooms, it'll be worth the wait! We'd specifically like to thank Francesco and Daniele for ensuring that our experience was beyond exceptional, they went out of their way to accommodate two walk in guests with no reservations. I'm confident that the experience I had with my husband is what the staff exemplifies day in and day out. If you are looking for a truly beautiful hotel experience, you should absolutely stay at the Grand Hotel Parker's, you won't be disappointed. The location is central to the shopping areas and walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Each night we went out and walked back to the hotel with no issues. The hotel does have a garage if you are traveling via car. There is wireless free internet at the hotel. I am using it now to write this review and have connected via our phones and had no issues.

Yelp
I LOVE this hotel. I'm not sure why the reviews are so poor. I stayed here in 2009 for a work trip. Then again in December of 2017. Since my last stay, the hotel has been renovated. We had a room with double beds that faced the sea w/ a balcony. I mean come on! It doesn't get any better than that. The beds were nice and comfy. I had no problem sleeping. The shower and bathroom is marble so be careful, it can be slippery. But honestly, I loved their attention to details with the robes, slippers, etc. I used everything and really got my relax on. I didn't hear noise from guests next door. The elevators are smaller than typical Western ones. But traditional for European lifts. The 6th-floor breakfast terrace and views were amazing. I would say get there early if you want a table. We arrived at 8:30ish and were able to sit close to the windows and had the best view. However, about an hour after being there the room was full. We had other guests ask if they could join us at the table. The staff in the restaurant were super wonderful. They turned tables over quickly and I had some of the best cappuccino's I've had in my life! There was a food and wine event happening in the lobby while we were there. Like a silent auction. Had no trouble getting a taxi/uber from in front of the hotel. It was also within walking distance about 7-10 min to the funicular.

Yelp
Yeah, this place kind of sucks. Its nice on the outside but the rooms are a dark/musty and the bathrooms are far from modern. The staff is rude and I swear one receptionist gave us bad directions out of spite. The service at the restaurant is even worse. At least the toiletries smell nice and the 6th floor terrace has good views.

Yelp
Place looks good in appearance, service was great. The bad thing about this place is after you turn on the water, and turn off, it you would hear a loud plumbing sound as if it's clogged. Had their breakfast and there were black little bugs around the bread, cheese and pastries. I couldn't eat after I saw it. Told the manager and he said he would take care of it and nothing was done. The next day, there were still little black bugs on them and some flying insects ... P Then I saw a black roach come out of the sink in bathroom and I turned on faucet to flush him done.. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Yelp
The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and probably one of the nicest in Napoli but the service can use some improvement. Room was a decent size but had scuffings on the wall but other than that it was clean. Definitely expect better at a hotel like this. Breakfast was pretty terrible. Everybody that worked here seemed like they hated being there. This place has such potential because of how beautiful the hotel is but the service just needs to be greatly improved.

Russ F.

Yelp
Would have gave it two, but the price drops it another star. Rooms are just old, not classic. Things like a coffee or hot water maker aren't here. Internet is a joke, so don't plan to be able to work from this hotel. Staff goes from cold to rude. Restaurant is very pretentious and arrogant. Required guests to have long pants on terrace, in summer 90 degrees so asked us to sit In bar terrace next to it. I look over at restaurant terrace and what do I see, a guy in shorts. Area is supposed to be in a nicer area, but is dirty and away from shops and restaurants. Only good thing was we discovered a family run pizzeria and rotisserie called Corsari which was great.
