My overall stay was quite disappointing due to several issues that I believe should be addressed.
The hotel is currently under renovation, but this was not mentioned detail on the website. (It only stated lobby and restaurant under renovation). Many rooms were closed or repurposed, and the elevator was shut down/not in service, which made moving rooms very inconvenient. My first room was supposed to be non-smoking, yet I was given a smoking room with a strong smell of cigarettes. Although I was later moved, the elevator problem persisted.
Cleanliness also needs improvement—carpets, towels, sheets, floors, and sofas did not feel well-maintained. At night, it was difficult to sleep because of loud motorcycle noises from the street that carried into the room. Breakfast options were limited in both variety and quantity, and dining utensils had to be requested multiple times.
I believe transparency is key: if renovations are ongoing and facilities are not fully functional, this should be clearly stated on the booking site, along with adjusted pricing. Guests deserve to know what to expect before making a reservation.
While I truly appreciate the staff’s kindness, this experience makes me feel that it may be my first and LAST stay here.
