The rooms were not really clean. There was squished blueberry on the floor and a lot of night butterflies. The curtains were really lightproof so the sun would wake you up all the time. Also you could here everything throught the thin walls. The manager Lea was really bad…I had to pay some stupid registration fee multiple times and noone warned me about this before. The staff called Nataša and one male staff on reception were really nice The wifi was working very very bad and in the restaurant and spa not at all. In the spa there was one indoor pool and 2 whirpools, the whirpools were dirty and you could see mold there. The breakfast and dinner were absolutely great, the only minus was that not even water was for free at dinner… I really really do not recommend it is absolutely not worth it, I really do not understand why people come here beacuse of this poor spa. Absolutely not worth it

Nataša at the front desk was excellent, really exceptional service — so helpful and accommodating. I had a lovely stay here! Everything was super clean and comfortable, the mineral water was top notch. Great breakfast and the other ala cart restaurant was delicious too. Highly recommend :)

Beautiful place, quet, great food in the buffet. The most important thing, is the Water (Donat). Water helps to rejuvenate and fell at list 10 years yanger. Same time, you can treat many medical issues, when staying in Grand Sava.

Hello everyone , I travel the world everywhere and I never had such a bad behavior from Manager call Lea , she treated the costumers like nobody , she did not try to help me with wifi she came to the room for 1 minute and told me is working and told me maybe I must seat in different spot of the room to have signal . I think she needs to work on her behavior and manage her self a bit better . Other than that is okey .

we booked 4 rooms in the hotel 6 months in advance, we asked Barbara to reserve good rooms for us, but when we arrived at the hotel they accommodated us in rooms on the first floor, where it smelled bad and you could hear pets next to it, but what I liked the most was how Natasa at the reception behaved with us, she solved our question and we moved to other rooms. It really matters when you have receptive people (Natasa) who put the Customer first😃. Otherwise it was perfect 👌

Sorry but there is nothing “grand” about this hotel anymore besides maybe the sheer size. We were welcomed be kind staff at the reception with information that there is no available slots for any kind of massages or beauty treatments for our three day stay, which is kind of the point of the visit in spa wellness in the hotel. Next surprise was dirty toilet seats (visible stains in both bathrooms) , just unacceptable. Then at around 10 pm we decided to fill the bathtub and after draining the tub we returned in the bathroom full of water and realised it was leaking on the floor. We went to dinner at 8 pm most of the food was empty and the pasta that left was overcooked and plain, just don’t bother. Breakfast is good and plenty of choices. All in all just an outdated hotel with old rooms and very loud plumbing from upstairs. You will always know when someone above is done taking a sh. Oh and the temperature in the rooms will NOT go over 19 Celsius even when you put it at max 24, it was cold and a sour throat is guaranteed. There are plenty of good hotels in Slovenia, this is not one of them. Only if you feel nostalgia for the 90’s. The staff was ok. Except the little girl working in the ROI spa who rudely opened our sauna door and said your done because we were 15 minutes over our 2 hour time slot. People loose track of time in there you should be polite and respectfully warn your guest and let them finish in peace. Rude and disrespectful. Hope this helps.

During our stay we found rotavirus inside the hotel, me, my husband and also our dog. Already on the second day we had vomiting, diarrhea and temperature 38. In the hotel we also met other people with the same symptoms, but no one did not warn us during the booking and during the stay that inside the hotel there is an epidemic. We decided to interrupt our stay, but they did not want to refund the days that we did not use. A very serious behavior by the hotel administration, which put our health at risk.

Firstly, it must be noted that the staff is the hotel’s greatest asset. They are truly a treasure, compensating for the hotel’s outdated facilities. Avoid booking this hotel through third-party sites like Booking.com; instead, book directly with the hotel to avoid extra charges, such as the additional fee for the water gallery, and to ensure access to other benefits. As for the facilities, there is no coffee machine or kettle in the rooms, which is unusual for a four-star hotel, especially in an area where everything closes by 10 p.m., leaving guests without access to tea or coffee until 8 a.m. The pool and sauna areas feel outdated as well. Breakfast service is disappointing, with only one old coffee machine and a cramped corner for tea, coffee, and juice, which is often crowded. The hotel owners should invest in a new coffee machine and higher-quality coffee. Additionally, charging over 4 euros for a cup of tea at dinner is excessive, and all dinner drinks are overpriced. The cafe in the hotel is not open during the day, for cofee you need to go to another building, where is the reataurant. In summary, while the hotel has an excellent team, the owners need to invest in improving the quality of the facilities.
