Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic, Autograph Collection

Loved loved loved this hotel. Awesome location. It was nice seeing it immediately once exiting the train station. Staff, especially our Bellman was very friendly and helpful. My favorite part was the restaurant and outdoor lounge. The food and drinks were excellent but those views really set the perfect vibe!!! The views overlooking Lake Geneva were simply breathtaking. Highly recommend!!!

Our room and bath were small, necessitating micro managing skills to navigate bathroom counter space, figure out how to store suitcases, and traverse a narrow walkway between bed and desk. We did not have a balcony (if we looked out and to the left, we could see the lake), but the large windows opened for fresh air - and noise with all the restaurants and traffic. But the room was very, very quiet once we closed the windows. We were impressed with the lovely amenities: plush robe, slippers, refrigerator with complimentary water (still & sparkling), 2 cokes, 2 juices, and flavored creamers; a kettle with Nescafé and tea bags; large umbrella; upscale L’Occitane bath products; a scale in the bathroom; even a yoga mat! Exellent breakfast buffet. WiFi log-in was difficult to figure out, but front staff was helpful. Indeed, the staff is all amazing here. I received excellent advice about taking the Rochers-de-Naye train to hiking trails & views. The hotel is close to the staircase, elevator, and escalator to get to the lake level. And how handy to be directly across the street from the train station.

This hotel is located right across the road from the Montreux train station which makes it very convenient. Do opt for the room with the lake views if available - the views of the lake is majestic. Being on a higher floor ensures uninterrupted views of the lake and mountains. The breakfast spread was good and if you could not opt for a room with the lake view, the restaurant offers the same view albeit on a lower floor. Rooms are a little small but bearable. The pillows were a little on the softer side. Otherwise the room is perfect! For its proximity to the train station and the facilities on offer, I would not hesitate to select this hotel again when I visit Montreux in the future.

Great hotel! We had a lake view room which was large, comfortable and the view was amazing! The outside bar was great, good service, food, seating and views. Only downside was they do allow people to smoke out there. Location was perfect as it was across the street from the train station. Highly recommend!

The Grand Suisse Majestic could have been sheer perfection except for the double rooms lacking a single bigger bed and sticking two smaller ones, on wheels, together. Every time I tried to get close to my wife, I almost fell through the crack. Otherwise, this place offers everything anyone would want on a vacation. The check-in and check-out were easy. The hotel staff was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are grandiose and charming. The views of the lake are incredible. The breakfast, with champagne, was superb. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant too. Even though it offers no parking, there is parking directly across the street at the train station. I highly recommend this place, but make sure you get a bed that is big enough for two!

Beautifully restored and maintained old hotel. Comfortable, well-equipped rooms, helpful staff, and a million-dollar view of Lake Geneva. Room sizes vary but we were very happy with our junior suite. The extensive and delicious buffet is worth every penny (or, in this case, Swiss Franc!).

This hotel is incredibly beautiful throughout! The location is also incredible with basically everything being within walking distance or a very short transit. The staff were so welcoming. José helped us with our luggage from the beginning and was so respectful, kind, and courteous. We hope to be back again soon!

This hotel is superb, right on the banks of Lake Geneva. We had a lakeside view with balcony and it did not disappoint. The staff were welcoming, standard of decor and cleanliness immaculate. The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced (we expected we would have to pay more) and delicious. The only downside was balconies are so close and the couple in the next room were smoking on theirs which wafted into our room.
