Overall, just an ok stay. Hotel is fine but the restaurant is expensive for the quality & quantity of the food. Paid £90 for a room at this hotel, the double bed was two singles pushed together and I found myself falling down the gap in the night, which resulted in a disturbed nights sleep. The room was well equipped with toothbrushes, robes, vanity kits and the hotel is clean/smells nice throughout. Nescafé instant coffee is provided in the rooms but considering the price I’d expect something a bit fancier. Staff are very lovely and helpful, they speak excellent English and made the check in easy. They also had somebody playing the piano in the evening which was beautiful and a nice touch. The restaurant was disappointing, over £50 for 2 people. The pork ribs were £19 alone, double the price of elsewhere. I wouldn’t mind if portions were a good size and quality matched. The menu also said truffle fries but it came with standard. Salad came with whipping cream on it?? Which ruined the flavour, there was so much of it. Left hungry still, I would not return to the restaurant.

Hotel was fine, nothing special (we had a classic room so I’m sure if we spent more for a balcony room we would have enjoyed it more). The restaurant for dinner was absolutely terrible, absurdly expensive and the beef salad was disgusting having whipped cream as Roquefort Cream. We paid 25,000 AMD for ribs, beef salad and mezze and we left extremely disappointed with our first meal in Yerevan. DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT FOR DINNER. Staff friendly, bed comfortable, history of the building is cool, but I would have rather not spent £150 for a bed and dinner here, I’d have rather stayed at either the ibis for a budget option or the Alexander for a luxury option.

Perhaps oddly I really appreciated the small balconies - to sit on or to hang laundry to dry - and was a bit disappointed that our second stay room 327 had a much smaller one than our first stay room 304. More seriously this is a lovely hotel with superbly efficient staff, great midsize suites, comfy beds, large bathrooms, a surprisingly varied breakfast buffet, all the extras you expect plus rooftop pool and underground spa complex. Plus outdoor terrace to enjoy your breakfast if you like.||Location conveniently central - walk to the Opera / Cascades and Revolution Square and Lavash (but only if you’re an Instagram addict).||To be recommended.

An absolute gem in the heart of Yerevan! From the warm welcome at check-in to the spotless, spacious room, everything was perfect. The breakfast is delicious and varied, the spa feels wonderfully private, and the rooftop pool offers stunning views over a city that’s changing before your eyes. Excellent value for money – a true oasis of calm right in the middle of the city. I’ll definitely be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely outstanding stay at Grand Hotel Yerevan! Impeccably clean, perfect location, and truly the best professional hospitality we’ve ever experienced. Staff go above and beyond with genuine care — simply exceptional! 👏✨

I was so excited to stay at the Grand Hotel, had looked through all the reviews and couldn't wait. Was also happy to hear it's been assigned a 5th floor (top floor) room.||While my room was fine, the bathroom was atrocious! Shower floor was peeling and old, only half the rain shower spouts were working (meaning i had to use the handheld which was awkward), the shower was very slow to drain, and the doors were ancient. The hair dryer was attached to the wall. This was in no way a 5 star experience nor worth the price.||The room itself was fine though drab. The pool area needs a refresh. ||Staff was lovely though and location great.

It is not a 5 star. The rooms are not enormous and the shower is small. Breakfast selections could be better. Most important it does not exude luxury and elegance when compared to properties like four seasons.

Wonderful. I spent my last night in Armenia here to soak up the comfort & it worked! I had a few requests & needs there were easily met with little fuss, and I was personally followed up by the manager to ensure I was comfortable. The rooftop pool was just the relaxation I needed.
