Grand Hotell Egersund AS

A fully-equipped historic hotel with much charm in a side street with pleasant communal areas, nice bedrooms with very decent showers, and a full breakfast option to start the day. Great staff too! If I'm in the area again this would be my first choice to stay.

I was part of a group of authors touring Norway and stimulating our creativity. The blessed people who put it together included a 6 course meal here. It was absolutely one of the best culinary experiences that I have ever had! One delicious course after another, everything was a home run! The staff was attentive and informed us of each course. We were seated in the front half of the restaurant and had a great view of the chefs finishing the dishes and plating. They were impeccable professionals. Cheers to the chefs and wait staff that topped off the awesome cuisine!

I had a very nice stay here for a week. Lovely Staff, helpful and cheerful. Excellent breakfast and exquisite dinner. Only thing that put a very minor damper on my stay was the fact that there was no fridge in my room.

Just 4 stars on location because the parking isn't the best. The building, the rooms, the cocktail bar, the restaurant... all of the facilities are excellent yet the best thing about this place is the staff. Everyone is lovely, polite and professional.

Nice venue, close to many restaurants and stores, as well as the bay. The hotel restaurant is amazing, I really recommend it!

Room was cold. No fridge. No kettle. Clean. Good bed.

I've really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Hotell. It was like a jump on the past but with the modern commodities, very kind staff. The only down side the elevator was under maintenance during my stay, but the staff kindly offered, and I took advantage, to bring my luggage to the floor.
