I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hyatt Jakarta, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable—warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Jakarta with direct access to Plaza Indonesia, making it convenient for shopping and dining. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and offered breathtaking views of the city skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a long day. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet—an impressive selection of international and local dishes, all prepared to perfection. The hotel’s facilities were also top-notch, with a well-equipped gym, a stunning outdoor pool, and a relaxing spa. Overall, Grand Hyatt Jakarta delivers a five-star experience in every way. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel guarantees a luxurious and comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

The customer service is superb. The staff are very professional and proactive. The facilities are great. I was given the privilege to check-in early at 11am - kudos to the check-in counter personnel and of course the housekeeping team who mange to prepare the room ahead of time. This hotel really exceeding my expectation especially for a person who like city experience like me. I will certainly come again.

We took the family king room which is to accomodate 3 adults. Check in time was 3pm, we arrived at 3.45pm but was told the room was not ready. However the staff at the check in counter gave us a temporary room (king deluxe room)to rest while we wait for our room to be ready. At 5pm they call saying the room was ready and we will be transfered to the our room. After we moved, we went out for dinner. At 10pm we went back to our room and realized that the sofabed was not ready and no pillow or blanket for the third adult to sleep. I call the guest service, and they came to set up. But i dont know what happened, they said the sofabed was broken so it cannot be set up. They will bring in an extra bed instead. The extra bed made the room less space to move around. I booked the room with sofabed is because i prefer to close it in day time so i have much space to roam around the room. That night also, i called the engineering team to repair the shower head holder. Because it seems not to hold the shower head properly which makes it difficult to use. They came an fixed it. But the next day, it became broken loose again. I gave up and just let it be. I dont expect this kind of room facilities from grand hyatt a five star hotel in Jakarta. Please maintain your rooms better. The staffs are all very helpful and friendly. I appreciate and extremely happy for that.

Nice Suite Room of Grand Hyatt Jakarta, yet quite old design style. It’s generously sized, offering separate living and sleeping areas, giving guests plenty of room to relax. Checking on their Executive Lounge, it offers a luxurious and comfortable space, includes a wide selection of complimentary snacks, breakfast options, and drinks throughout the day.

Outstanding service and accommodations at the Grand Hyatt Jakarta. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and every part of the hotel is beautiful and comfortable. The dining and shopping are excellent. I cannot wait to visit again, and highly recommend this hotel.

The bed was really comfortable. The distance to malls is a plus. Food was good, breakfast was better than expected. We will definitely bring the kids next time we visit Jakarta. We had a really good experience at PIK 1 and PIK 2. We will be recommending our friends for future visits to Jakarta.

From the concierge and security to the front desk, room service, housekeeping, and dining staff—everyone provides top-notch service that leaves a lasting impression. The restaurants here offer high-quality food at reasonable prices, but if you’re in the mood for variety, the adjoining Plaza Indonesia has endless dining options to explore. One thing to keep in mind is to plan your travel ahead, as the area can get quite congested during rush hour. That said, the comfort, convenience, and exceptional service make Grand Hyatt Jakarta my go-to choice for business stays in the city.

It would be a 5 stars of their digital experience was as good as their hotel. The hotel is stunning and if you enjoy luxury as much as I do you'll be in for a treat. If the purpose of your visit is shopping then this is even better as the hotel is connected to Plaza Indonesia which is next door to Grand Indonesia shopping mall. There are plenty of amazing food there. The service is also excellent. If your bed feels too firm the team will add a very good topper. The only issue is the digital experience when booking via the Hyatt app. Hyatt has not taking digital booking as seriously as Accor or Marriott (though I'll admit that those 2 could also improve). The communication is also quite bad. Booking a car was a total pain. I'd recommend to call the hotel directly to sort things out. Avoid as much as possible their live chat on the Hyatt website. You'll get very angry very quickly.
