"Jakarta is an exotic place, to be sure, and many of its hotels are heavy on showmanship. But Jakarta is also the capital of Indonesia, a vast nation, and an important player in the global economy. As such, it needs a few no-nonsense business hotels, of which the Grand Hyatt is king. Fears of a bland and homogeneous hotel experience prove baseless, however; the Grand Hyatt is up to the standards of the best business hotels in any major city. The look is perhaps a bit less modern than that of the latest business hotels, incorporating traditional Indonesian materials and craftmanship. But this is no museum — every modern amenity is accounted for, from the electronic controls that run the 428 rooms and suites to the 24-hour business center and extensive conference facilities. The fitness/leisure center is beyond comprehensive, with an outdoor lagoon swimming pool that has to be seen to be believed, and several outdoor tennis courts - all right in the middle of one of the largest cities in the world. We recommend a drink on the terrace at sunset to the sound of the call to prayer from nearby mosques. Those of you being called will have better things to do, but others will also be touched by the multitude of voices calling it the end of a long and hot day. In fact everything one could wish for is on-site, or close at hand; the location is central, adjacent to the Plaza Indonesia (prime shopping territory) and close to a number of government offices and cultural institutions. This is a gorgeous hotel! The room was comfortable, the bedding and pillows were nice, and the hotel staff was wonderful and helpful. I loved the included breakfast: they had a lot of options, fresh fruit, pastries, and fresh egg dishes. Who can say no to a matcha donut? 🤤 It was the perfect way to start every day. Everything about the hotel it is great; I have zero complaints. The location is also nice if you want to be close to options for shopping. I'd happily stay here again!

The Grand Hyatt Jakarta is a large oasis amid a very busy city. The design of the hotel is certainly generous with large, ample spaces and facilites. The service here simply outstanding!||||For the solo traveller, the hotel offers substantial convenience. It is directly across the MRT and is connected to the Plaza Indonesia Mall with a pletora of shopping and food choices. ||||I've always chosen to stay in Hyatt properties as the quality have always been consistent and familiar to me wherever I go. The Grand Hyatt Jakarta certainly lives up to the brand expectation with ease. I look forward to be back again very, very soon!

I recently spent two days at the Grand Hyatt Jakarta, combining a short stay with the hosting of a 14-person leadership dinner; and I could not have felt more welcomed.||From arrival, the front office, housekeeping, and engineering teams — especially Ajeng, Jenifer, Rahmat, and Yanto — went out of their way to make me feel at home and ensured my first evening was truly lovely.||The following morning, breakfast at the Grand Café was a highlight. Rinda and Anam kindly guided me through the Indonesian specialties on offer, making it both a culinary and cultural experience.||On my second evening, Ursinus, Chef, and the banquet team delivered an impeccable corporate dinner at The Glasshouse (26/F). The atmosphere, service, and food were pristine, and my guests left deeply impressed.||Finally, on departure, Cantika looked after my 5am check-out with warmth and even handed me a nasi goreng for the road — the perfect send-off on my early ride to the airport.||Congratulations to General Manager Parveen and his team for creating not only a wonderful stay, but also one filled with genuine human connections. I look forward to returning very soon!

The hotel staff are excellent. Friendly and service orientated. The facilities at the hotel is great. Good and varied F&B restaurants. The pool and garden on the 5floor excellent. Great place to relax and chill out. There are many other hotels in the area where the Grand Hyatt is located. The thing that stand out most for the Grand Hyatt is the excellent service and friendly staff. The Grand Hyatt is my first choice of hotel when I am in Jakarta.

This is one of the nicest Grand Hyatt’s! It is in an enviable location right in the city center and attached to a large shopping mall that you can walk into from inside. It has one of the biggest fitness centers especially for a hotel and the swimming pool along with the garden is the largest I have seen in a hotel. Service was good even if not great but that’s understandable to some extent given the size of the hotel. This will be ideal for customers who want to have a longer stay.

Good facilities available. Gym is well equipped with lots of machine options and spacious. Good central location, however roundabout area can get quite busy causing traffic jams. Hotel is also connected to Plaza Indonesia which is very convenient.

Very Iconic hotel in Jakarta as it's situated right in the heart of the capital city. Though it's one of the oldest hotel in Jakarta as well, but it's well maintained and the service as well as the food is outstanding. They have wide variety of food to choose for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As if that the chef have their own surprise culinenary everyday in western, Japanese, Chinese and even traditional style cuisines which always ruined my diet. For our family, the other main attraction is its large and unique design of the swimming pool, makes you feel that you're elsewhere. Sitting by the window whilst looking at the "Bunderan HI" is also a priceless moment. Always happy to be here.
