Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur: A Luxurious Stay Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is an absolute gem! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always attentive to our needs. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel's location is unbeatable, with KLCC and Pavilion just a short distance away. This made it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The breakfast spread was a delightful experience with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The swimming pool offered a refreshing escape, and the view was simply stunning. Overall, our stay at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur was exceptional and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

I have stayed in this hotel a few times so they welcome me warmly. The rooms are perfect - spacious and well thought out, with lights and power in all the right places, high quality furnishings, and black out curtains. They are also very sound proof. The only tiny niggle was they replaced towels every day despite saying they wouldn’t for environmental reasons, and they weren’t consistent in refilling tea, removing rotting fruit, or putting iron and board away, and the TV remote didn’t work. But really, those are minor issues. We held a conference there and they were fantastic. Highly recommend, esp on business or going to a convention at KLCC. The pool is lovely, the gym adequate and overall it is a high class hotel.

I’ve traveled and stayed at dozens of hotels but this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. The staff was absolutely amazing specially the lady in reception Peggy , she made us feel valued and like we were at home. The rooms were beautiful with a view that would make you stop at the window every time you walked in. The property also looks like it came straight out of a dream. The lobby area, swimming pool, spa, rooms all was incredible. Room service is 10/10, on of the best steak I have tried. One of the best hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Definitely will be coming back and recommend it to everyone who visit KL

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur as a Globalist member, and I couldn't be more impressed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. I was given a stunning room with a breathtaking view of the Petronas Twin Towers, which made my stay even more memorable. A special shout-out goes to Sean in the executive lounge. His professionalism and attention to detail were remarkable. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether it was arranging special requests or simply providing top-notch service, Sean truly made my experience at the Grand Hyatt extraordinary. The amenities, service, and views at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur are second to none. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city!

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. While there are some positives, there are also several areas that need improvement. Pros: Location: The hotel is situated in a prime location, making it convenient for exploring the city. Cleanliness: The hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness. Room Spaciousness: The rooms are very spacious, providing a comfortable stay. Cons: Accessibility: The layout is quite inconvenient. You have to go to the highest level to access other levels and services. For example, to reach the spa or other services on the second level, you first have to go to the top. Similarly, the restaurant for breakfast is on one of the highest levels, which can be cumbersome. Amenities: There is no lobby, coffee shop, or lounges, which are typically expected in a hotel of this caliber. Pool Access: The pool is not easily accessible, making it less convenient to use. Family-Friendliness: The hotel does not seem very accommodating for families and kids. Food Variety: While the breakfast is very good, there is a lack of variety in the lunch and dinner options. Reception Service: The reception staff were not helpful in extending a late checkout and did not seem to understand guests' situations. Service at the Door: On a positive note, the bellboys and the people at the front door were very nice and provided excellent service. Overall, the service at the hotel is good, but there are several areas where improvements could enhance the guest experience.

We will come back to this hotel every time we are in KL!!! Enjoying the best view of twin towers while eating the best dishes, tons of fresh sweet jackfruit and high quality sweet and savory food, fresh juices, pastry… They also bountifully cater vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free… The service is exceptional and rooms are luxurious.

The location near KLCC Park was fantastic for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. We were impressed by the high level of professionalism by the staff (front desk and club staff especially), which enhanced our visit. Breakfast was superb and the pool is beautiful. Great all around hotel!

Just spent 3D2N there and all I can say it's the best vacation I ever had mainly because of my experience staying in this hotel. Everything, everyone was great. I even had a great dinner at their Thirty8 restaurant. Good memories created and I will definitely be back here.

Yelp
Booked their gorgeous Grand Twin Towers Suite for 4 nights .The room may not be super stylish, but it's cozy and eloquently decorated. The floor to ceiling windows installed on multiple sides of the room gives you a spectacular view of the park and twin towers. So wide till the point you do not know which way to look! The large bathtub which I've used many times throughout my stay made me realise this luxury while staying at any hotel Could make a huge difference. If only I sit in there and watch the twin towers every night while sipping on a drink .. That alone is an experience! Location wise it is exactly what you can expect for paying to stay within the golden triangle-- easy access to KLCC, convention centre and a train station to get around the city. Their room service staff were all so lovely, each time I called they will greet me by name and all the things I requested for were sent to my room swiftly. My experience staying at Grand Hyatt has definitely exceeded my expectations with the outstanding value provided despite the closure of their facilities due to the implementation of MCO. Special thanks to Shirley/Sherlyn from reservations for accommodating my request to check in early and the complimentary desserts ! I wasn't there to celebrate any occasion, so I didn't need to install any decorations during my stay , but here's a tip to those who intend to book for a celebration: Currently the hotel does not offer decorating services however do try to call them in advance to see if they can arrange a room early for you to allow you friends/ family/ decorating vendor to decorate your room before you check in. Grand Hyatt KLCC , FIVE stars , perfectly deserved !

Yelp
Had a great first stay! Pros: 1. Beautiful/Best views (esp. of Petronas Towers) from the lobby and the lounge. Better than any view from the base of the towers or from within KLCC Park. 2. Lounge is really nice, and the cool beverages were delightful after walking all day in the humidity. 3. Our room was really nice and spacious, with nice touches like a separate seated mirror area, walk-in closet, and a switch to change the glass between the bedroom and the shower from opaque to clear so you can see the beautiful view of the skyline. 4. Very nice staff. 5. Good location within walking distance of Petronas Towers and KLCC Park. Cons: 1. Honestly can't think of any :)

Yelp
This Hyatt has some of the nicest hotel staff comparatively to hotels we've stayed at in the past Everyone try to go out of their way to help, greet you and provide service. From Mel, in registration, Asst manager, Sophie, the entire team in the Grand Lounge especially Jick, ever friendly Yuen, Hong (works hard by himself in the early AMs), Hasneesh, Leon and Oliver. They take the time to talk to you and ask about your day and find out if you need anything. I witnessed Jick handle a situation with a demanding and difficult customer over insufficient won tons in the soup he ordered. Jick handled it with professionalism and salvaged the issue promptly with 2 colleagues who came to his assistance immediately. He's an intern and they should hire him permanently after that display of tact. We had breakfast, snacks and dinner at the lounge where most of the food was pretty good with Chinese and Malay options such as coconut rice. I couldn't get enough of the popular fish and shrimp chips. We tried breakfast at the larger buffet, Restaurant 38. Even more options with Western choices as well. The management staff go out of their way to acknowledge you and aim to please. Two sous chiefs, Chef Chong and Chef Saliheh would cone out to speak to customers and elfeedback to find out what customers like. Chef Chong went out of his way to prepare a vegetable soup and thin toast with coconut jam of his own creation. Absolutely delicious. The registration lobby is on the top floor. The view is spectacular especially at night when the tower changes with blinking colors. The swimming area is a circular pool and the gym has a lot of equipment, ellipticals and treadmills. I'm a light sleeper and at 5:40 AM daily, prayers are broadcast over loudspeakers from the nearby Asy-Syakirin mosque and can go on for 30 mins. On a Saturday, it was 4 AM too. We'd hear prayers at night until 10 PM. Wished the windows were sound proof or ear plugs provided. Drawing all the curtains help slightly. 1 Star for the staff in the valet area which is on the ground level. We were instructed by the reception staff that we can give our postcards to the concierge staff in the valet area to mail. We have the guy $4 Malay dollars to buy the stamps and mail. He said he would do it for the 4 cards. Friends I spoke to told me they never received the cards. A week later, we were in Singapore and the cards we mailed from there already made it to the US but not the cards from Malaysia. If post offices were not so hard to find in Malaysia, we would've mailed it ourselves. It seems the valet pocketed the money and never mailed the cards. So be aware.

Yelp
Whoa, I wish I had stay more than one night here! Walking distance to Petronas Tower and KLCC mall, this was one of the nicest Hyatt we stay at! We are Hyatt members and were upgraded to a 36th floor room with lounge access. Our floor had a floor to ceiling window with the view of the KL tower. We couldn't make use of of breakfast since our flight to HK was super early the next day. But they packed a to-go breakfast for us with sandwich, yogurt and fruit delivered to us at 5am! We did enjoyed the view at the lounge 2 other times in between all the sightseeing. All the staff here were friendly with a smile. Can't beat the backdrop at the lobby on the 39th floor! Would definitely stay at Grand Hyatt KL again!

Yelp
A totally amazing hotel with spacious rooms and fabulous views of the Petronas Towers (remember the movie Entrapment?), completely luxurious, puts any 5 star hotel in the US to utter shame! The rooms are so cavernous with tons of space. Very comfortable.

Yelp
Eat yourself silly with duck. Whilst on a business trip to KL I thought I would take the opportunity to book myself a suite at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. After a few afternoon beverages I thought I would venture up to level 37; The Grand Lounge. For all competitive people, I highly, highly, highly recommend the 'KL duck challenge'; Bring a group of your most competitive colleagues and eat yourself silly with duck (until the last man is standing). As you slowly enter into a food coma, sit back and enjoy the reception you receive from the Grand Hyatt Hotel culinary staff. A must do for all future KL trips and comes highly recommended. Current record = 15 plates. Post your record here.

Yelp
Stayed at Grand Hyatt KL to be near convention center and won! Amazing Grand Club Floor - service is what it's all about (special thanks to Jolene) and food offerings are high quality. Try Nasi Lemak for breakfast and you will find it hard to go back to western options. Evening offerings and ambiance = dinner. Lamb, duck, curries, vegetarian specialities, salads, hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer, drinks, desserts amidst city views. Had lunch at Eighty4 restaurant on site and it was spectacular. Highly recommend black cod with chiles and bok choy. An easy amble to Suria KLCC upscale shopping mall via underground pedestrian tunnel. Looking forward to a return visit!

Yelp
Well, Hyatt Category 6 hotels are rated that for a reason! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt KL and found the service to be beyond exceptional. Luckily with status, our stay was even better. The rooms are clean, updated, and well maintained. They're also quite spacious and give great views from such high above of KL. Starting from the 17th floor and up, the rooms of Hyatt KL are no joke! Breakfast here is also a great option for those who do not want to take the time to go out. Separated into western and eastern breakfast sections, both offer delicious varieties of food. The Asian section has Indian, Malay, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine. The western section has your pancake, waffles, toast, eggs, and the likes. With so many service people around to help you, your breakfast will be delightful! The location of Hyatt KL is great. So close to KLCC, Bukit Bintang, and the Monorail, all near that tunnel walkway (which is cooler, so you can avoid that Malaysian humidity a little bit longer), downtown KL is right at your fingertips! Great service, great room, great location, all for a recipe for a great hotel stay!

Yelp
This hotel is among the best. Nope, not just among the best in Kuala Lumpur, or Malaysia, or even Southeast Asia. The Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is among the best in the entire Hyatt system worldwide. The rooms are well equipped, the staff is great, the food is very good, and the location is excellent. Truly this hotel ticks all boxes. I'll start with the service. Their treatment of Hyatt Gold Passport Diamond members is second to none. My first visit to the club lounge I was welcomed by name by people whom I had never met before. That's amazing service. Upon each subsequent visit I've been welcomed by name (either by Mr F or Mr Andrew - cultural differences) and served promptly. Service has not been overly heavy handed where they hover but rather the exact combination of proactive and reactive that makes you feel like they're really looking after you. The food in the Lounge is also very good with a large breakfast selection for a Grand Lounge (compared to others) and eggs available for custom order. The evening spread here is truly fantastic with many choices that alternate every day. I've been surprised at the variety over my five day stay and really appreciate the effort Hyatt puts in to the Club Lounge. It is very surprising considering I doubt there are more than twenty rooms in this hotel which have club access. The location of the hotel is stellar, Easy to access from KLCC (if you want to take public transit) and next to the entrance for Aquaria KL and the convention center. It's also a great location for views as you have wide ranging views from almost any room, and amazing views of Petronas from the Sky Lobby on the 39th floor and from a lower vantage point at the pool on the 2nd floor. The rooms are extremely well equipped. On my first stay I had a regular room which had beautiful marble and dark wood and provided ample space to work, sleep, and a very large closet. For my most recent stay I was assigned a Grand Suite after using a Diamond Suite Upgrade. The Grand Suite is their entry level suite but at many hotels they're top tier suite isn't even this nice. The room is extremely large, well over 1000 square feet and features a living room with a desk, couch and some relaxing chairs and an accompanying bar area as well as a wash room. The bedroom features a king bed looking out over the park and with a couch and TV in the main bedroom area. The master bath contains a gigantic circular tub, a rain shower, a full changing area, dual vanities with a makeup table, and a separate closed door toilet room with a bidet. The only thing it is missing is a fancy toilet which you find mostly in North Asia (China, Japan, Korea) with heated seat. They also bring fruit, Nespresso, and tarts almost every day. I really love this hotel and cannot recommend it enough. I haven't mentioned it yet but JP Teres on the ground floor is also an amazing restaurant with great Malaysian cuisine. Whenever I'm here I always wish I had more time, but I guess that just means I have to come back to KL next year.

Yelp
Grand Hyatt hotel has only been opened for less than 3 years and I was here for several occasions - to dine here and to have room inspection here. I was invited to conduct a room inspection just to see the different room categories (suite rooms are amazing!! Open concept bath tub is available here too) that are available and also to check out the different facilities here. Not mentioning how grand and huge this hotel can be, it is actually a luxury plus business hotel and their concept is slightly different. Urban contemporary designs are really how I can describe this place. To check-in to this hotel, you will have to go up to the reception area and you will have to take the lift - strange but their unique concept. I personally find this place right due to its strategic location - just beside the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and you can come here by the LRT. They have an extensive of 412 rooms with a size of 47sqm which is really huge! Fantastic views so to speak with amazing panoramic city KLCC Park or the Petronas Twin Tower views that they can offer. With all the amazingly new facilities to offer, the room price doesn't come cheap. One night can cost more than RM500 one night and it does also depend on the offer or promotion that is available. You will have to separately order your breakfast and pay it differently as usually it doesn't come in a package. Thinking of a romantic night here? Look out for their promotions.

Yelp
The price is great if you are travelling from a place with a strong dollar. We had a great time and felt very welcomed. We wrote a full post on our blog complete with pictures at randrwander if you are interested.

Yelp
We had a phenomenal stay at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. This hotel tops my list as one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. We were there for 2 nights and I wish we had stayed longer! PRO's: - Gorgeous hotel with fantastic views of the Petronas Towers, especially at night - Huge breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant. Has a large number of Western, Asian and Malay hot items, delicious pastries, fresh juices, etc. I loved the noodles and dim sum! - Hyatt Diamond members can have breakfast in the club lounge or in the hotel restaurant, a huge plus. - The waiters and chefs at the breakfast buffet were so adorably helpful, enthusiastically loading up my plate for me with their recommendations! - The staff at the hotel was incredible. Every single person we encountered was extremely friendly and warm. It started with the manager personally waiting to welcome us himself when we arrived at the lobby (it was midnight!). - The hotel airport transfer service was seamless. We arrived at the hotel with our room ready and the staff already knowing which room we were in. Very well coordinated. - Our grand suite was absolutely gorgeous. Spacious, beautiful and well thought-out. - Complimentary laundry service for 2 items is offered to Hyatt Diamond members. The dry cleaning and pressing service was done perfectly and returned earlier than expected - thank you. - Room service food order was delicious and arrived earlier than expected. - Concierge was very helpful and friendly in helping us with the sites to visit in Kuala Lumpur. - Numerous staff members personally checked in on us during our stay, including the club lounge staff who called us, the housekeeping manager who came by, and the manager. We felt very welcomed and taken care of. CON's: - I honestly cannot think of any negatives. I truly hope my travels will bring me back to Kuala Lumpur, just so I can stay at this amazing hotel again. I was blown away by every aspect of the hotel, especially the warmth of the people. Well done and thank you Grand Hyatt KL team!

Yelp
Great experience! All the hotel staff is extremely courteous and attentive to all of your needs. The food at all their restaurants is fantastic, with a great variety of Malaysian and Pan-Asian cuisine. Fitness facility is very well equipped and pool is fantastic. Spa personnel is very qualified and provide a great service.Rooms are spacious, clean and modern, with a fantastic view of the city.
