A stay at the Grand Hyatt begins with a delightful check-in experience, where a reception team member welcomes guests with prosecco and towelettes, provides an overview of the property, and ensures a warm, home-like atmosphere. Our group occupied three different rooms, ranging from standard twin rooms to suites, all featuring sofa beds, luxurious bathrooms, spacious balconies, and high-quality furnishings. The sofa beds were exceptionally comfortable, a rare find indeed. Although the rooms were outstanding, one suite’s rainforest shower head was in poor condition, spraying water in multiple directions during use.
Guests in suites and those with Globalist status can enjoy a delicious, complimentary breakfast featuring a variety of local Spanish dishes. The staff is exceptionally friendly, with Cati being a delightful presence each morning. Additionally, the club lounge offers a light selection of afternoon tea options and a generous tapas spread from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, including excellent seafood and other delectable items.
While the hotel’s free parking is a significant advantage, the strict pool/spa hours and capacity limits can be frustrating, particularly when entry is denied due to overcrowding. The gym is spacious and well-equipped, providing ample space for stretching, numerous yoga mats, and a wide range of exercise equipment. Situated on a golf course, the hotel grounds are beautiful, ideal for running and walking, with a driving range conveniently located nearby for guests with clubs.
All five members of our party thoroughly enjoyed the stay, as well as exploring the nearby towns and hiking trails. We would be delighted to return on future visits to the area.
